We ate here 3 different times over our 5 days stay at Harrah's. Overall, it is good. Basic breakfast was solid, the Philly b-fast was a decent size miss though. Bland, messy to eat, and the paper on the bottom started mixing in with the sandwich. Lunch was good, pizza and French dip were also both good. The French dip surprised me about how tasty it was. Not huge but good enough size. Happy hour is good as well but not a ton of choices. But a pretty good $9 -1 topping pizza was plenty to share and a beer for $4.50 is dang good for Tahoe. We always had good service. Besides the Philly breakfast sandwich, the only other knock is the temperature. I like it cold but man, it was freezing every time in there. Haven't eaten at this location...the rating is not because we didn't try, but a 30 minute wait when tables are empty after a concert (they had it at the hotel, so they knew) is not acceptable! Tells me that this location is in need of a new manager!!! But it looks cool and food looked same has the Reno location...not sure why I even gave them two stars. I've eaten here 6 or 7 times between September and November 2025. Am not sure when they opened but my 4 star review is partially based on a comparison with the American River Cafe which was in the same building, Harrah's Lake Tahoe. The salmon is good, fish taco Great. The French fries were sub par. The staff was very friendly. Shout out to Chris.! The real problem is that the portions are way too big. For breakfast there is a work around that involves ordering sides rather than a 'meal'. But this doesn't work for lunch or dinner. Wednesday morning, least busiest day of the week I ordered food two different days from this place, Tuesday night dinner was good but they got a double tip out of me, never eating here again. I ordered the "American breakfast" from a younger hispanic gal with a not so friendly attitude, it was so screwed up! She needs much more training and better customer service skills, this goes for all of you except I think her name was something like Kyra, got fish and chips from her, she seemed knowledgeable and nice, But the rest of you excluding new Chinese lady have horrible customer service skills, so bit!#y and there was three girls standing at podium. I ordered one "American breakfast" with two additional eggs and an OJ. The first two eggs I asked for yolks "over well" , other two eggs "over medium", got all four eggs crucified and greasy, whites were so overcooked & brownish, I sent two back, had them cooked over medium as I requested. I decided to check my receipt, my grand total was $54.00!! WTH? For one breakfast with 2 extra eggs & OJ??? Turns out she charged me for four additional eggs and they automatically added an additional 15% tip to your TO-GO total which I didn't get to see this at signing because i was only given the credit card slip to sign not the detailed slip showing already forced tip of approx $5.50!! So not knowing this i give an additional tip of $3.00, they didn't tell me tip was already added to my total FOR A TO GO MEAL THAT THEY TOTALLY SCREWED UP!! Wrong on every level!! I can see forced tips for large parties but not TO-GO orders!!! Bulls**!! Then I proceed to head back to my room and realize they didn't even give me my $7.00 orange juice, come'on ladies!! And when you ask them to correct your order they seem all put out. So, fish and chips from first night was super good, kids chicken tenders good, eggs not good, potatoes and bacon were good along with sourdough toast, service & forced tips horrible! I highly recommend you check your receipt and your to-go orders before leaving the restaurant! Going to eat somewhere else rest of trip! We usually stay at Harrah's when we're in town, so we decided to have breakfast here. I ordered a dish that had black beans, diced sausage, and an egg (can't remember the exact name), but unfortunately it came out watery, didn't look very appetizing, and just wasn't good. I tried to push through it, but after a few bites I had to send it back. I ended up ordering what my wife had--steak and eggs--and that was easily 10x better. The steak was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. While we were there, we noticed they had a happy hour menu with a decent percentage off, so we came back later that night. We ordered a pizza and a burger, and both were surprisingly good--especially for happy hour pricing. As for service, one server was really nice, but overall it felt like most of the staff were just going through the motions. The energy definitely picked up once the bill came, which was a little off-putting. That said, we'll be back for the food. read more

Looking for a good munchies stop after a day on the lake. Brew Brothers was really good. Alex my waiter was phenomenal! Super cool dude and excellent customer service. I ordered a cocktail, chicken wings (excellent) and the Bavarian pretzel (best ever outside of Germany and NYC). Good sized portions and reasonably priced. Dinner and apps were good. The waffle breakfast LOOKED good, but they appear to be just reheating premade volkswaffles that you used to get at Costco in a package. They had the turbinado sugar on them and they were subpar. Please don't sell waffles if you're not going to mix up a decent batter and cook them fresh in a waffle iron. Breakfast was amazing! Iam a big fan of French toast, but not all places can meet my standards I am very picky. Brew Brothers passed the test, French toast was very good and topped it off with a flavored coffee not sure what it was but it was delicious. This past week we stayed at Harrah's. We had a late lunch so we went here for a quick bite. We ordered ITALIAN CHICKEN MELT Rotisserie chicken, fontina cheese, roasted mushrooms, caramelized onions, arugula, lemon-chive aioli, pickled giardiniera This is from the menu. Bryan was our server , and when the sandwich came out it was full of the giarduniera we had asked for it on the side. We also had an issue with the heavily seeded bread it was on hubby can't have these. So we showed Bryan the sandwich, he was great he said I will fix it and even change the bread great. Nate the manager on duty , we called him over and explained to him what was happening and to no fault of Bryan it wasn't what we expected. A melt is usually a hot sandwich this one everything was ice cold and seriously tasted gross. Nate without hesitation comped our sandwich. We were willing to pay for it even though it wasn't good. We were greeted at the cashier station very quickly. Asked if we would like to look over menus, then after we decided to eat there we were seated with no waiting. Service was fast, prompt and on the ball... our beverages were never empty food was hot and very tasty. The steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare. My sandwich (philly) was DELICIOUS and my son had the loaded fries and they were very tasty as well... I had a local IPA that was cold and good. Placed a to-go order on our way back to our hotel. Ordered a smash burger with sauce on the side but they still put it on the burger, which i didnt want because I wasn't sure what the sauce actually was, and didnt end up liking it. Gave the saddest tomatoes to add to burger. Paid extra to sub onion rings and they gave me fries. Also ordered a BBQ chicken pizza which lacked on sauce and was soggy. SO BOMB.com. The staff and liveliness is awesome! Surrounded by tv's so you can't miss a game! Bunch of booths to choose from. FULLLLL bar! Happy hour 2-5 Monday- Thursday! Very lovely staff and super attentive. Also a very diverse menu so you'll always be able to find something you enjoy! It's in place of the old food court, but I'd say this was a great choice! Breakfast is offered as well 7-11am which is awesome. One of the only places between casinos that serves it. Open 7 days a week. Bar is apart of restaurant now as well and serves food.
