    Salmon dish off menu

Now I can't tell you if this salmon is on the menu but my friend saw a picture on the website and was like "I want this!" And they made it! So that speaks volumes to the customer service. Meanwhile I just got a happy hour quesadilla lol. Anyway, can't go wrong with food or drinks here. Service is friendly and fast at the bar. Live music on Thursdays is always amazing

Fun experience. The food and drinks were good as well. I'd definitely come back for the RnB bingo.

Great service, and great food! I was greeted immediately and treated with the most respect. The bartender was very attentive. Great music if you're into a hip-hop. The music is a little loud but I enjoyed it still. I got the catfish and shrimp and grits. It was really good. The catfish was cooked to perfection. Breaded really well and seasoned very well. The presentation was amazing. Great job by staff pat searching everyone.

Now it took me a few days to really figure out What I was going to say in the review post. Attempting to show "BLACK OWNED" businesses that WE CAN SUPPORT their establishments is not worth it. Here's what I mean by this. On Sunday a few of my friends met me at Brews Kitchen & Cocktails. I'm sorry I even recommended this spot for us to watch the game, and dine-in. I've dined here two times before and those times weren't bad. However this experience was TERRIBLE!!! Once my friend, and company showed up. We all went inside. Now it was NOT crowded (meaning Wall 2 Wall). So there shouldn't have been a problem with where we had to sit Right? That's what I thought also. We were seated about 10 steps away from the DJ's microphone, and music table. This was "LOUD" as hell. We had to send one another text messages because we were all tired of asking the other person, "Huh What Did You Say?" This was ridiculous...so our hostess/greeter comes back over to the area where she'd originally sat us at. I asked, Could the table be clean? Also could we had sat in one of the big high back booths and chair area over by the window? Her response was, The Owner wants EVERYONE seated in the same area. Now I ain't the smartest person but I'm not the dumbest either. This didn't make any damn sense but I rolled with the punches until I had to STAND ON BUSINESS. After 14-18 minutes of several female servers walking by us as if we the Invisible Invaders. I finally walked back up to the front entrance spoke to a beautiful light skinned sista with a NFL jersey on. I expressed our disappointment and she immediately took care of us not having a Server notice us for almost 20 minutes. Mind you when we arrived it was 5:15p.m. When we were FINALLY serviced it was after 6:20p.m. Chris moved us over by the window which was awesome. However my friend wanted the $40 Lamb Chops. Chris goes to the kitchen and puts our order in just to walk back out to inform us that the Lamb Chops were SOLD OUT!! So now the time is quarter to 7. My friend ended up placing his order for the NY Ribeye. He liked it so much he wanted to order the same thing but for a 2Go order. Chris went to the kitchen to come back out to us and said, He was sorry but the Kitchen is CLOSED!!! At 7o'clock on a Football SUNDAY??? So we see everyone (employees females) wiping down tables that had been dirty since we walked in at 5:15ish this must be a new thing. Keep all the tables dirty so it looks like the place has limited space for potential customers to sit. I've seen this at a few restaurants as of late. Then the ambiance goes from romantic to all the lights are no longer dimmed. The DJ announces that he's packing up to leave but couldn't make a brief announcement about the kitchen closing by 7pm. ??? I hail Chris down cause now I'm too heated and embarrassed cause I invited my friends to come to Brews Kitchen he spent over $280 on drinks, food, and gratuity. Of course I was gonna ask for the owners name. Sloan is the owner of this very nicely decorated restaurant. I couldn't believe it when I asked Chris, Was the owner here? He said, YES. I asked to converse with him about the JANKY ASS service and establishment he's operating. On the website it shows the time for Sunday hours to be 11a.m.- 10p.m. but you shutting shit down at 7p.m. While Security comes in Yelling everybody needs to GET THE FUCK OUT!!! I've been here since this morning. So that's our fault as paying patrons attempting to keep your doors open???? Now I can visualize what happened to make the BLACK OWNED business VINETTI's to shut its doors. Especially if they ran their business like Brews Kitchen did for us on this past weekend. The owner Sloan doesn't interact with his customers I was informed. He leaves it for the managers to do. Meanwhile the member of management NEVER walked over to our table to EVEN ask us, How was your experience or service today? This spot if it stays in business another year it'll be ONLY BY GODS GRACE. The food, drinks, and aesthetics are all beautiful. Unfortunately the way the restaurant is ran is disappointing. My friend wanted us to go back just for the food and drinks tonight. I didn't wanna have him spend over $$$ and the service not be A1. We can go to other spots that genuinely are attentive and deserving to us as patrons. Food was 7/10 Chris was 10/10

The perfect green tea shot. No questions asked she made it amd it was DELICIOUS! NOT TO SWEET JUST PERFECT. Made my night. We are an older age but this is a perfect place for all ages, if you like the club scene. We had fun though

    Chicken & Waffles
    Dee A.

This place was pretty nice. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and immediately sat although we didn't have reservations (noted for next time). I was only in town temporarily and celebrating my cousin's birthday with her. The bartender Sandy was so nice! She looked out for us and gave us suggestions on what to order but ordered catfish and grits and she ordered chicken and waffles. The food came out fairly fast and was pretty good. It was a nice spot to visit for brunch. Cons: kids. I love babies! But not in a club setting. There were multiple babies. Also the food was 3/5. It was good but not the best I've had. I'd return on a future visit to Dallas.

    Cajun shrimp pasta
    Kiesha W.

So today I decided to try this place out and see if it was as good as the pictures looked. I went during happy hour I would give the drinks a 8 out of 10. They weren't stingy on the liquor reasonable priced. The ambience and the vibe was good, they had a live DJ . Let's get to the food so I purchased fried catfish , Mac & cheese and collard greens . Along with shrimp Cajun pasta. The greens were delicious, however catfish was fried in old grease super hard and dark. The Mac & cheese was okay not creamy but hard cheesy on top. Definitely wouldn't order neither again. Shrimp pasta would've gotten a 9 but they didn't remove the shells from the pasta in which you couldn't eat without stopping to remove them before swallowing. On top of that they add a 15% gratuity and the food comes out slow. Personally I would just go back for the drinks and the live Dj on happy hour but wouldn't order any food. It's more like a nightclub than a restaurant type setting.

Our server, Stephen, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire experience. We started with the bruschetta board and it was delicious. My favorites were definitely the salmon & pesto and the goat cheese with sweet pepper jam--so flavorful and balanced perfectly. We both ordered the Select Two combo. I got a nine inch panini on focaccia bread paired with the soup of the moment: potato, leek, and artichoke soup, which was surprisingly so good and comforting. My friend ordered the same combo but paired hers with the Brussels sprout salad and had her panini on focaccia bread with tuna. She was also offered three wine tastings, which we thought was such a nice touch! To end everything, we tried the hot donut dots and they were amazing. They didn't taste oily at all, were light and fluffy, not overly sweet, and cooked perfectly. Definitely a spot we'd come back to again!
