As you walk in the door you are welcomed to a life-size dancing Santa Claus. The interior was very nicely decorated and you feel the Christmas vibes. I ordered the TURKEY MELT * $13 House smoked turkey, applewood bacon, swiss, field greens, tomato, red onion, grilled 9 grain bread, side of cranberry aioli. My first review is pretty old. I've been back several times since. We always sit outside in the large patio area, as do most others. There is usually one group inside that you pass on the way to the restroom, which always seems comical? The food is amazingly delicious and while they do have excellent choices of the usual burgers and wings, they also have some surprising other dishes. Mediterranean bowl, Cedar plank salmon and such. Seriously guys? Everyones prices have gone up but you think the beat course of action is to post a sign that you are adding 4% to everyones bill because of it? So stupid. During a really bad snowstorm here in Ohio I decided I wanted to get something from a restaurant. I have lived here well over five years and this place is less than 1/10 of a mile --I could walk there. I walked into a brightly lit sports bar and tried to place a to go order Which was just a tad difficult to do, but got it done and it was returned to me in less than 10 minutes --they said it would take 15 to 20. I ordered the steak salad. Now the steak salad comes with bacon,onion straws and brussels sprouts and had it not for it being ice cold. It was a delicious entrée. We arrived to the restaurant at 8:20 with a reservation. We sat down and it took quite a while to get a drink. While waiting for my drink, I went to the restroom and only one stall was clean enough to use. I received my Mojito and it didn't taste right. I told my friends it was a terrible Mojito and they pointed out the black mint that was in my glass. The mint was so black. I returned it and did not want another drink. We didn't get our dinner for TWO hours. Two people at our table didn't get their dinner until the rest of us were already finished. I'd say it's your typical bar and grill as far as ambiance goes, but having having been here twice, the food is pretty good. On our inaugural visit we had a party of 12. Service was very friendly and started off a little slow but in the end, was efficient. I had the Cleveland Press which is slow roasted prime rib topped with white cheddar, caramelized onions, horseradish cream and boursin cheese on a hoagie roll. This was a damn good sandwich with perfectly tender and juicy meat. The toppings made it that much better. With a side of onion rings, this made for a great meal. My wife had the Tavern burger which was a burger topped with beer cheese, caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms and applewood bacon on a pretzel bun. Based upon my two bite sample, this was a damn good burger as well. Full bar with several local brews available as well. Decent little spot to enjoy a good burger and a cold beer. So a bottle of beer and a glass of soda pop came out to nearly $9 and when I asked the server why it was so high she told me there was a 4% up charge for drinks above the menu price mind you plus they add 20% gratuity automatically! So to the owner of this establishment I give this advice just raise the darn prices 4% and leave the gratuity off you are probably training your staff not to mention either of those fees and how many people are tipping on top of that 20% dishonest on your part. I will not be returning and I will take every opportunity to tell people about the experience. read more

This place is pretty average across the board. Average service, average ambiance and average food. What I found annoying was the mandatory service fee as well as a "bar fee". I did not sit at the bar and I had an iced tea. This ends up hurting service staff more as if the current tipping culture hasn't gone out of control. IMO, the business should make small increases across their menu items and left it at that. Pretty dramatic to have a sign at the entrance about the service fee for mediocre food. read more

Service and clientele is very hit and miss. Some nights staff can be good, others they are busy talking to customers and ignoring you. Likewise it can sometimes have a good crowd and a chill atmosphere, other times it can be full of creeps and loud drunks. I don't think I have had worst service. It's unfortunate because they had some good music playing on the patio. Cool spot, but their servers, bar tenders, even the hostess- across the board just bad service. We never got a server. A few random employees came by to take an order but wouldn't see anyone for another 20-30 minutes. They brought me a warm beer and I had to walk inside to tell them. They comp'd our drinks without us requesting anything which was nice but they dropped the check and didn't return to get the card for for another 15 minutes! There was hardly anyone there.
