We went to the one on the island. Very clean. Great food I had grilled Swiss on rye with sweet potato fries and a cup of chili. He had the patty melt and onion rings. All was perfect! The employees were very friendly! I will be back! Best of luck to you! read more

Very disappointed. Service had a lot to be desired, it's gross when your server is eating behind the bar with her hands an never washes them. My churkey burger was undercooked and I had to send it back, which is amazing because it was so thin, and it had a pretty dark char on the outside. A chicken/turkey burger needs to be actually cooked, not just charred, unless you want to kill someone. They other servers were running like crazy, I guess I got the lazy one. She threw my bill at me with not so as an apology because someone was leaving and she had to hug them. I hope they tipped her better than I did. The coleslaw was the bright spot, but the second batch they sent me tasted like it had been in the fridge for a few days uncovered. The beer was cold tho! Watching the lack of sanitation from sitting at the bar was a bit scary too. It's a skip for me, hope I don't get sick. read more

My girlfriend and I ate here. My girlfriend ordered the breakfast burger, and I had a chicken sandwich. That night was my girlfriend went through so much pain. I had cramping as well but mine was not as bad. She had been up all night throwing up with major stomach cramps to the point where we almost went to the hospital. She said it was the breakfast burger. The egg or the burger meat. We were regulars, she gave a courtesy call to brew burgers a girl answered and my girlfriend asked to speak to the manager. She put her on hold and then another woman came on the phone. She wasn't looking for money, or any compensation, which she had stated that during the phone call. She just wanted to give the restaurant a heads up that either their meat or eggs were bad and that she had gotten food poisoning. The woman said she would let the owner know immediately and he will be calling her back. The Owner never called back. Clearly the Owner doesn't care that his meat or eggs are bad with salmonella. We were regulars but we will not be going back. Clearly the Owner just cares about money and not the customers....Gross!!! Bye brew burgers! read more

Stopped by here because most of the reviews were good, but just left...hungry. They have no clue what well done looks like. Sent it back the first time to get rid of the blood. My burger came back the second time still pink throughout! Well done on the menu clearly states no pink. To be fair, the Bud Light was great. Keep driving :( read more

Great little place that specializes in a good burger. Not many places left to sit at lunchtime on a Thursday, but they made it work. Very friendly staff. I had the breakfast burger (on a regular bun, not the English muffins per the menu) and my son had the kids cheeseburger. No, it wasn't the best burger I ever had, but it was pretty good. Another Person commented on the quality of French fries, and I would have to agree. Subpar fries probably took away from the burger. Fast friendly service more than makes up for the fries; however, I hope the owners make a change someday. read more

Stopped by this place at 1:00 This establishment is not handicap friendly, especially if you are in a wheel chair ..... crowded, not much space inside and noisy. god forbid if you have to make your way to the bathroom. The first time we stopped here, we were on our way home after flying into Punta Gorda. The food was very good. I loved the Pulled pork barbecue and my husband enjoyed his hamburger special with red potatoes, all smothered in gravy. So a few weeks later, we went back for dinner. I had the same dish but it was not nearly as good. My husband had a hamburger and Cole slaw and again, it wasn't as good as the first time. Maybe we were very hungry the first time or maybe it was because it was mid-afternoon and it was a different cook and/ or they weren't crowded. But it was disappointing. Very impressed! I was hesitant to go to a restaurant next door to a Holiday Inn and Best Western, but after reading the reviews, we had to try it. We had the Patty Melt and Jim's Famous French Dip. Spectacular place! Absolutely amazing staff! My mother and I came in and were more than impressed with this place.

I work close by so I've been here several times. The service is always good. Some of the food is a little weird, like the Teriyaki cheese steak (buh?), but for the most part everything is great. My favorite is the Breakfast Burger, cheeseburger with a fried egg on top -- awesome. Prices aren't bad, maybe a little on the high side, but the food and service really is good, especially the funnel fries for dessert that come with raspberry sauce -- definitely my favorite. read more

I gave it a 3 because the food was good but as I was sitting there eating I was watching the guy that cooks the fries and stuff and he got done cooking fries went and got the broom and dust pan and started cleaning up and a customer walked in and ordered his food and instead of changing his gloves he reached in and grabbed cold fries and put them in the frier. Then he was cleaning the top of the frier and put stuff in the garbage can and was touching the garbage can then reached back in to get more cold fries and put them in the frier. All of this was with the same pair of gloves he was using wen I first sat down. I told the waitress and she went and talked to him but he still didn't change his gloves. I won't be going back there with him cooking. Good food tho before I seen that read more

The service was great and fast; however, the burger to me wasn't seasoned and the pretzel burger I ordered the bun was dry and tasted as if it had come out of the freezer (I liked Wendy's better)... That being said it is nice to have a place in Venice that doesn't care to 90 year old tourists... However, just because it is unhealthy and fast does not make it tasty. First time trying this place out after seeing great reviews. Ordered a veggie burger with fries. The food was okay but the service is what made me rate this two stars. I am a server and waitress myself. Our server Ashley, was nice enough but did not check on our table once. She had her back turned and was talking with some other girls at the register our whole stay. The onion rings were hard but we didn't have a chance to tell anyone because we were not checked on. She put the check at the table and then walked away to go back to her conversation. We were not sure if she cashed us out or if we went up to the bar where the register was. We went up to the register and stood there for a couple of minutes, she still was talking and three other people passed by that worked there and saw us standing there with the check and didn't say anything or alert our waitress. She cashed us out and then turned her back to us again while we filled out the receipt so we left. We will not be returning due to the service. read more
