While recently traveling through DFW Airport, I had a layover long enough to finally sit down for a "proper" dinner. Since I usually fly nonstop, this was a rare treat. After checking out the options near my gate, I spotted TGI Fridays. I hadn't eaten at one in ages (there aren't any where I live now), so I was genuinely excited. I was seated right away, and within moments my server came by with a friendly greeting. It was very clean, had a bright energetic vibe and there were several people both dining in and sitting at the bar. After ordering a drink, I quickly decided on the best of both worlds: Whiskey-Glazed Ribs and Crispy Shrimp. I've always loved their signature whiskey glaze, but I'd never tried it on ribs before. The food arrived shockingly fast--so quick I was honestly stunned--and it was fantastic. The ribs were tender, the shrimp perfectly crispy, and that glaze was just as good as I remembered. What impressed me most was the efficiency: from the time I sat down to finishing my meal, it was maybe 30 minutes total. For an airport sit-down dinner, that balance of speed and quality was exactly what I needed. In the DFW airport having lunch with flight delays. Very busy with all of the flight delays and people stuck in the airport for longer periods of time. Our waitress did a great job and was always on top of things. My wife loved the Bloody Mary's she had and they had Yengling on Draft and she brought we the large on which is what I needed for these long delays. I had the Fish and chips for lunch and it could of been cooked a little longer. My wife had the Chicken finger basket. Over all the lunch was very good. Not happy at the end have to scan the QR code to get the bill. On the bill they included a 22% tip in the total. NEVER tell me or included in the grand total on my bill I will decide the amount of tip based on my service we received. read more

Allison is a hero; she will listen, & under stand what you've been through; she also had her belongings confiscated, & she works here in the Dallas Worth nothing, but steals peoples brand new perfumes, and face creams. The security for men here are terrible tor security check in; they would revoke my brand new unopened perfume from dolce & gabbana and Chanel than throw away shampoo and conditioner which was the same size. Which doesn't make sense; are they broke and they need to steal other women products to give to their wives? Terminal E location: Terrific in every way. Lovely, bright and constantly kept up to remain clean. They handle thousands of people and yet I might of well been the hostess' neighbor with her warm greeting and obvious effort to have me seated as quickly as possible. Thereafter, my server was equally as efficient and kind. The food is typical Americana and true to the brand. I will forever embrace the Caesar salad and whiskey glazed chicken strips. Well everything came out the same time. I. Asked the server why I did not get my salad first. She said "my bad". WTF???!!!??? Really. My bad is it. What a scum bag server to reply to any issue like that. I guess good help is bad here. The manager should be ashamed of his training of his personal. The place was not clean either. I was in the Dallas Airport around lunch time and had a long day of flying ahead of me. I had also two hours before my flight, so I decided to get some food. I noticed there was a TGI Fridays relatively near to my terminal, so decided to go. It had been years since I had been into one, and I used to go to them frequently when I was in high school and undergrad. So it was a nostalgia trip for me. There was no wait to be sat at a table. The waitress got my drink order immediately which was just some soda. The place is comfortable and has plenty of TVs to watch sports. I ordered the "bucket of bones", which has ribs and buffalo wings with a side of fries. Eating the food, reminded me exactly of my prior experiences in Fridays when I was younger! Loved the food! Delicious! Especially considering it was in an airport and usually airport food is awful. The service was also excellent. My waitress was friendly. She even got me a soda to go. The server Christy was very sweet and her service was great, she was attentive and accommodating .The atmosphere was to be expected for an airport bar. The margarita I ordered was overly watered down even for chain bar standards. I drank alcohol and I'm not afraid to spend money I would have ordered something yet specific if I would have thought I would have been drinking lime juice. I then decided to just chalk it up and then I would order a glass of wine the wine I wanted I ordered the young lady came back and said they were out of it and the substitution she offered me or that the bar offered me rather was $3 more expensive but it was also a sweeter wine and I don't drink sweet wine and it's not what I wanted so I ended up ordering a red wine that was also not what I wanted but I wanted wine and I was closer to what I would drink and what I wouldn't. Overall it's what I would expect again for a busy chain airport restaurant but the sweet polite server made the end of a very busy stressful business trip worth it That's the only reason that I gave this trip three stars was for Miss Christy read more

Best airport restaurant I've ever been to. Key word = airport. No, it's not amazing food, no, the service is nothing to write home about, no, the drinks aren't anything special. With all that said, it's decent food and decent service and decent drinks at unusually low prices for it being an airport spot. I ordered a couple of martinis and fries, and the martinis were $12 each while the fries I believe were $3.50 or something for a massive portion. I was pleasantly shocked when the bill came as I was expecting a much much higher number. There's a ton of bar seating with ample outlets and the DFW public wifi wasn't half bad. I was able to bang out some emails before my flight with no problem. All in all, really not a bad place to stop if you're in the DFW airport. read more

Today I ordered their sirloin, I don't expect Ruth's Chris but if you ask me what temp and I tell you medium rare, why would it come out well well done. Wanted to grab a quick bite in Terminal E and this is what seemed most appealing at the time. I was alone, but had 2 bags with me, so didn't really want to pony up to the very full bar and try to be comfortable. I asked if I could have a small table. I was asked if I had plenty of time before my flight since I would need to wait for a small table to open up (which yooke less than 5 minutes, so I don't know what the big hubbub was about). The time thing should have been my warning. I did have plenty of time, but man, service was extremely slow. I at least got my food in a somewhat reasonable amount of time, but there were definitely people complaint about not getting food and basically needing to run to their gate; these people were also seated well before I was, so it's not like they were running in last second. I waited forever to get my beverage, actually came out after my food. Never was offered refills and asked for the check twice before actually getting it. Word to the wise, if you have less than 1.5 hours before takeoff, this won't be the place for you to get food. read more

Way better than expected. The spinach artichoke dip was not worth ordering, but the fish and chips were really quite alright and the burger! Crazy as it sounds this is the best burger I or my husband have had out in a while. Cooked perfectly medium rare, dripping with juice and with FLAVOR, just the right amount of cheese, proper size/texture bun... seriously, no complaints. Service was a bit slow, but they were busy and I can let it slide. They were super nice and helpful when I need them to be. If this were a standalone restaurant out in the real world (LOL), I would probably give it 3 stars. But for an airport option? This is as good as it gets. Would definitely recommend. Hard to believe I'm giving a Friday's a 4 star review! Had plenty of time for lunch and wanted to eat at a table rather than on my lap! DFW doesn't have a plethora of sit-down restaurants onsite, most are carryout, so the restaurant was busy. Fortunately, there was no wait for my party of 3 to be seated. After a couple of minutes our server Michael came buy with a cheery demeanor! The menu is a pretty standard Friday's menu (I think) and the prices didn't seem ridiculously inflated as most food is at airports, if raised at all. Food came out quickly and everything was enjoyable! All along Michael was checking on us and eager to make sure we were happy with our meals and had everything we needed. Located centrally at Terminal E within walking distance after security check in, this TGI Friday was popping full. There are two entrance and each is met with a host that will gladly seat you. We had only wanted breakfast and so, we only had another 15 minutes to place that order. The kind host seated us in a booth in the back so you can overlook the air-field behind Terminal E. Yes, if you are not family with Dallas-For-Worth Int'l Airport, each Terminal are separated; if you are at the wrong terminal, a quick ride on their Tram or Bus will get you to the right Terminal destination. There is a bar seating area in the middle looking roughly to seating 20 or so barstools. The rest of the seating areas are 25 or more booths or tables seating 2-4 people. We ordered the breakfast items to include French Toast, Breakfast Sampler, and Omelette -- nicely pairing our meals with two cups of black coffee. The breakfast were awesome. My Breakfast Sampler were made perfectly. I asked for sunny side up eggs and it was done right. The bacon was cooked perfectly and my taters were nicely fried. The French toast was also great. The way the egg blended into the toast made for a very tasty bite. Everything tasted wonderfully and we will definitely dine in here again on our travels. read more

Prompt, friendly, and delicious breakfast options at reasonable prices allowed for me to relax prior to boarding an early 6:30 AM flight to Chicago O'Hare in January 2020. I was seated in front of the kitchen area, allowing for me to witness my breakfast being made. There is window seating available for those that prefer to watch planes departing. The restaurant is fairly close to available gates, so I didn't think that there was a considerable walk to & from. Will certainly return for breakfast. read more
