    My Plant Based Burger

At Dallas Texas for a conference with NACS My Impossible plant based burger was on point. Service and prices are fair

    From the buffet.

This place makes Golden Corral fine dining. I had very tight schedule so when I went to Hyatt Regency South inside DFW airport to get to Restaurant there was waiting time but they told me I can go straight to the buffet. Exactly that's what I did. I went straight to the buffet. It's not knowing I ended up with this kind of horrible experience. I picked up asparagus, the meat what they call tenderloin and another fibrous meat. God knows that it's pork, or chicken. Look like all of them are overcooked and some kind of jelly like gravy ( maybe chip McCormick package). I've been coming here for a long time and I've seen it's gone down to hell with a hand-basket. They know when you are here, you are captive audience .

Breakfast buffet with a friendly welcome.

Went for breakfast and chose the buffet. Not a huge selection but what was available was quality. I liked that the bacon wasn't overly cooked and dry as it can be. They had an omelette station which I didn't have the room to try along with lox and bagels and other assorted baked goods. The sausage was on the grainy side but the fruits were nice and fresh. Lots of toppings for the oatmeal. Service was prompt and friendly. Only disappointed was the signage said French toast, which I was looking forward to, when they were actually serving pancakes.

    Heirloom tomato and avocado salad

I stayed here at the Hyatt for business overnight and had lunch one day, then the breakfast buffet the following AM at Jacob's Grille. Lunch was the heirloom tomato and avocado salad which was really nice; presentation was good and the tomatoes/avocado were fresh. Dressing was creamy and complemented the dish well. It was a good choice for a light lunch. The breakfast buffet was $20 and included a drink (coffee for me). It basically offers everything available on the menu (including an omelet station, bagel/smoked salmon station, cereal, assorted breads/muffins, yogurt, eggs, eggs Benedict, fresh fruit, breakfast meats, etc.). The buffet is essentially a better value, as you'd pay near $20 for a drink with most of the a la carte items. Smoked salmon and capers are my fav, so I had plenty along with some toast and eggs. Salmon was fresh and flavorful; this was my favorite part of the breakfast. Eggs were prepared well, also...I had no complaints. It's a general breakfast buffet; nothing super special about it. Wait staff for both meals were very pleasant, attentive and informative. Since you're a bit segregated by the DFW complex, food and drinks seem to be more expensive than they would be outside of the airport area. But it was better than average for hotel food.

I could give 3.5... because convince from my hotel. Food looked alright but tasted not too good.. service was okay..not too impressed

Note: this will be a short review. I am exhausted from flying. Stopped in here for dinner. Very nice waitstaff! I ordered pizza and a glass of wine. There were some great dishes on the menu.

The wait staff at the hotel restaurant, Jacob's Spring Grille, were attentive without without being overbearing. The breakfast bar did not come with the room price, but was a great spread of organic and all natural items and worth the $20 to get the day started right.

Nearly empty restaurant on a Monday night at 8:30pm. Next door is the Sports Bar and it's much noisier.

It is what it is. You're at an airport hotel. Play it safe and get the build your own pizza. 4 toppings for $17. It's a good portion and tastes good. Yes, it's $17 for a pizza but you've got no other choice. My partner got the burger which is cooked to order, but it was just so-so. The best part of his meal was the fries.

Ordered two salads which were very disappointing. This is what an order of garlic bread looks like. Zero garlic flavor. Zero butter.

After I left a review, the manager, Amanda Stewart, reached out personally, inviting me to call and share the details. Amanda, though new to the company, has years of industry experience and truly understands the value of great service. She apologized repeatedly and invited us back. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Tupelo Honey is a stand-alone restaurant conveniently located near Hwy 114 and 161. There's plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and a mixture of tables, booths, and bar seating. Speaking of the bar, it acts as a beautiful backdrop for the entire restaurant. 1 Star. Service - The service is always friendly. Our server is always smiling, and I can't help but feel welcome with southern charm. Tupelo Honey trains its staff well, and I really enjoy coming here and interacting with the staff. 1 Star. Food - I always begin with the Biscuits with a Cause. These light, flakey biscuits are served warm with a crispy exterior and soft, flakey inside. But honestly, the biscuits act as a delivery mechanism for the butter and blue berry jam. I always ask for an extra side of butter and jam because I use it all. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Honey Dusted Fried Chicken (dark). The chicken was perfectly fried, crispy, and sweet. And the dark meat was juicy. Pro Tips - use your hands. Another great dish was experienced. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I have yet to have a below average dish at Tupelo Honey. Yes, it's a chain. But it's also a darn good chain that keeps its menu fresh and is worth multiple visits. 1 Star.

DFW is massive. My friend was 30 mins late, but I wasn't trippin. I used that time to charge my phone and get a little work done. We didn't have a resy, but were seated right away. First of all, this place is massive. We both started with the espresso martini before realizing they had a happy hour menu. Our second drink was from the hh menu even though we had no business having a second cocktail. To start, we shared the fried green tomatoes. For whatever reason, we both ended up getting the western burger. Food was great. There was so much of it that I was only able to finish half and ended up taking the rest home. Great service as well. The place was crowded by the time we left. We only planned to stay for 45 minutes, but ended up staying for nearly 2 hours. Big thanks to the bartender. I went back to the airport a little tipsy after 2 drinks.

Clearly a popular spot. We shared an appetizer, a steak, sides, and a dessert between us 3. - Fried Tomatoes (appetizer): not bad! Light, not greasy at all, and that savory sauce on top was yummy: - Wagyu Tomahawk: the star of the show. Loved the peppered crust which was full of flavor. Not a true "Japanese wagyu" texture, but still an excellent steak overall. - Sides (mashed potatoes, fries, broccolini, cornbread): All pretty good across the board. I liked the cornbread the most and wished there was more of it. Usually a side of cornbread is much more substantial and comes with honey butter. - Steak sauce: we ask for a side of this. Whatever they had was unique and great. Fruity and tangy, a great complement to the tomahawk. - Pecan Pie: look at the photo! A huge, tall slice. No notes. Loved the dense ice cream on top. Perfect way to end the meal. Overall: no critiques, just an all-around great dinner. Definitely recommend the tomahawk and pie.

The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.
