Service wise... They deserve a 4.5 star out of 5. They were pretty nice at the to go counter. I had never been befpre and they were accommodating to my questions and requests. Price wise.... it's WAY overpriced on quite a bit of the menu. One of those places that charges 2-3x the retail value on stock items. Like a $3 bottle of water. Quality... 3 stars. I was very pleasantly surprised that I was greeted with a friendly hello right when I walked inside. This cafe and eatery is clean, modern and welcoming. They have a nice selection of coffee and beer plus a menu to select something to eat. The bathrooms are super clean. I had a sandwich, the BLT, and it was amazingly yummy! I really enjoyed myself. Ok Brewed Cafe and pub. I'm picking up what you're putting down. My ham sandwich this am was on point. You don't get just a ham sandwich here oh no... you get the ham from the most tender and delicious pig on the farm, perfectly melted cheese that could be in a commercial for how it oozes and pulls all on a ciabatta bun the God's on Mt Olympus probably feast on between sips of mana. Ummm...kind of reluctant to brag on this place because it's such a good find. But, that's not fair, is it? Great find in downtown Vancouver, Washington. Super friendly staff. Amazing decor and quiet loft sitting area. Food was fresh, delish and their pastry cooler was full of regular, vegan & gluten free options. My husbands breakfast sandwich was so big it served him both breakfast and lunch!! And as coffee snobs... gotta say, this was some of the best coffee I've ever had! Lunch menu looks just as good as the breakfast, SUPER fresh made to order! And they have beer on tap, bottles, wine but has not been updated on their website yet. Hands down the best breakfast sandwiches for the price anywhere!!!!! I go here twice a week atleast. Plus staff is really nice. The plain drip coffee is pretty dang good too. Not really geared for kids but they would definitely accommodate for sure. And depending on how busy it is they will totally make you breakfast after the cut off time. Just ask nicely. This is one of the best places we have found for breakfast and lunch. Their biscuits and gravy will make you think your Grandma is in the kitchen. The egg scramble is delicious and a great value. They have a good selection of coffees and the service is excellent. The lunch sandwiches are big enough to eat half and save the other for supper. Wow! We just found Brewed in downtown Vancouver, in our first morning in town (literally moved the day before). Warm, inviting, OPEN early!!! and the coffee is excellent. They roast their own coffee beans, and sell them at the shop too, which we love. We also got toasted bagels with cream cheese ...the perfect breakfast at 8 AM with a super busy day ahead. We will be ordering a gift basket from them for the friends who helped us find our new home. read more

I asked for a gingerbread latte, and the barista literally asked me 'what flavor is that?" are you kidding me?!?! A true neighborhood institution! This place is teaming with locals/regulars. I myself come here almost every morning for coffee on my way to work and see many familiar faces, along with many neighbors. The guys who run the place are super friendly! You can come here in the morning for coffee and come back in the evening for brews :) Their food is simple and delicious. I've had the breakfast sandwich a few times, as well as the biscuits and gravy (they sometimes sell out of this). The downstairs seating area (where I'm currently sitting and writing this review) is nice and cozy, and great for people watching. Upstairs is a bit more spacious and better for groups. This place is great. They have good coffee and great sandwiches. I love the loft area up top, super hipster and they are dog friendly. Every time I go in there with my pup they always offer to give him a treat. Also customer service is great they treat you like you're a king every time you walk in. They have donuts, peanut butter and jelly and some other great snacks if you're just looking for something sweet or easy, they also have a great breakfast menu if you're interested in doing that. They have TV cable Wi-Fi it's a great hang out spot or even a great place to do homework depending on what time of the day you go. Easy access, especially if you're in downtown Vancouver I suggest at least stopping by this place once. The bathrooms are usually really clean which is nice and upstairs they have water for you if you get thirsty that way you don't have to go down every single time you want to refill your cup. Definitively the best coffee house in Vancouver. Arguably in the top 3 coffee houses within the greater PDX / Vancouver area. In short: Brewed is the place to go if you want good eats, an array of beverages to choose from, and a friendly atmosphere to hang out in. My experience was nothing but fantastic! Right off the bat, I was acknowledged, even though there was a short line. I set up my laptop in the corner, contemplating what to order. When I got to the counter with my order, I asked for "just a coffee"... they have quite a large selection from kombucha, to coffee, to lattes, to beer and wine. It was 9 am, so I kept with the coffee. Kevin reminded me that it wasn't "just" coffee, but a coffee prepared with prayer. And, I definitely felt it! After sitting down and hooking up to the Wifi, customers kept streaming in and out. You would assume you were at someone's house, the way customers were greeted like old friends. This is one of those coffee shops where everyone becomes friends. While working, an older woman came and sat with me, just because. This isn't something that happens when you go to Starbucks or any other type of chain. This is unique to the small, family-owned places with soul. Everyone continued making jokes and having a good time together, as I worked quietly in the corner admiring the way this business is run. I've worked both in family-owned and major-chain coffee shops, and this is hands-down the most friendly and cool atmosphere that I've experienced. Other thoughtful things that make Brewed awesome: I was asked if I wanted a refill and my coffee was given to me on the house after I ordered a sandwich (this was mostly because he forgot to add it... I offered to pay, but he politely declined). They waited on me, brought me water, refilled my water, and delivered my food order. They even upgraded my order with soup of the day instead of the chips. Sitting by the propped-open door on a cool, fall day, I became chilly eventually and they closed the door because I put on my jacket. They wanted me to be comfortable, they said. So kind. We had two sandwiches, the mango ham and the BLT-A, and they were both excellent. Whenever I have to drag my effete Portland friends kicking & screaming across the river, we go here, have a drink & an AMAZING sandwich, until they stop whining about how "un-hip" Vancouver is.
