Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty packed, but the overall vibe was great. I brought my 13-year-old son and felt it was totally appropriate. There were a lot of families around, which made it feel welcoming. They had the Dodger game on, which added to the atmosphere, though the patio was closed off for a private event. Inside, there are several food options including pizza, desserts, tacos, and barbecue. There was also a sushi spot, but it was closed during our visit. Just a heads-up: everything is on the pricier side, so expect typical "trendy brewery" prices. As for the beer, my family enjoyed it, though I don't personally drink beer (they do have a few seltzers). Overall, I'd recommend this place for a fun and lively Sunday afternoon.
The Whittier Brewing Co is one of my favorite spots in the area. It's always lively since there is often some sort of event or live music happening. They have a great selection of food and drinks. My favorite pizza spot, La Crosta, has a location here. The brewery rotates their taps pretty regularly, and there's always at least a couple of ciders/seltzers/spritzers, so it's not all just beer. Inside and outside seating is available, but the outside area closes a little earlier. Theres a little book nook inside next to their photo booth and pinball machines. It's family friendly and open pretty late. Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. Honestly, it's just about everything you could ask for from a 3rd space!
We've come here multiple times and always have fun. There's so many options to choose from and plenty of seating both inside and outside. The bartenders are always very kind and helpful as well! We've gotten many different beers and ciders as well as the desserts and lemonades. Always very good!
Love this brewery, always a great time. Beer is great, many options of wine and options for food. They have indoor and outdoor seating, a lot of space. Service from the WBC workers have always been very welcoming and friendly. Dog friendly as well. They are showing the football games on a large mobile display, they have arcade games, restrooms are clean.
Great place! It's at the Nixon Hotel you walk in and it's a great ambience and a little of everything! This used to be a club back in the day when I lived in Whittier lol but what a major upgrade. Plenty of tables to sit out there's a couch area to lounge. And a beer garden outside. My daughter and I had the melon Spitzer and it was very good ! We ordered pizza and that was exceptional! Service is top-notch everyone that works there is super friendly. I can't wait to be back to taste the barbecue there. It smelled so good!
Easy parking, lots of seating, friendly atmosphere, good prices and COLD BEER !!! How's that...This family friendly place has it all for a relaxing meal or evening. We stopped in on a Saturday night. After grabbing some food and finding a good seat we were pleasantly surprised to find out there was a band playing in the outdoor patio. Fortunately the brewing company also had a bar serving beer outside. I sampled a few of their options and pinted my favorites. The pils was light and refreshing. I enjoyed Javis last stand and Thunderbolts the most. This is a great place to take a load off and chill. I look forward to going back.
Love the Whittier Brewing company. They have so many beer options and the employees are always so friendly. There is plenty of seating inside and outside and i like that you can get 8oz beer so you're able to taste more of their options.
We came here for my dear friends sons graduation party. It was perfect... the greetings, the bartender, the food and the servers were absolutely fantastic. I would highly suggest you try this place. The night we went they had live 80's music snd they were rocking. I was impressed at how professional and friendly ALL the staff were. They get that with so many similar places to choose to celebrate it's -the it's the experience that sets a place apart. Thank you WBC
Good Spot For Friends And Family Lots of Food Choices And Different Types Of Beers And Nice Employees
This spot is located inside the food court next to other vendors. They even have a beer garden but it was too hot to sit outside so we stayed inside. Hubby & I ordered drinks here while waiting for our pizza from La Crosta. The guy who helped us was very friendly & let me try a few different wines before ordering a full glass. He even poured me a generous amount which I didn't expect! I will be a returning customer & look forward to trying their reds next time
Great beer selection, very clean, really great staff and a friendly environment. Overall 10/10 atmosphere. Food here is good as well. Recommend the painted black and friendly pils.
A decent beer garden at a food court uptown Whittier. They didn't have beer tastings just pints. I usually get beer tastings with mostly hoppy beers. We tried double hazy, cider and a sort of dark beer. Those were tasty but I would have preferred more varieties. The service was friendly. A solid place for beers and I liked the relaxing atmosphere.
So many options for food including pizza, vegan tacos, coffee and a cute gift shop. Location is dog friendly and allows dogs inside. My friends and I had friendly hills pilsener/light larger. Many options for beer including IPA's. Bartender was friendly and plenty of space to roam around.
Stopped here to watch the kick off to watch the World Cup with Mexico and South Africa. It was a noon time game and the place was rocking with exuberant fans! Great place to grab a beer (or cider) and watch the games on their big screens. read more

I loved the ambiance here! Such a fun local brewery. I met up here with a friend and it's such a cool spot. J love that it's almost like a little food hall- there is a clothing stand, ice cream shop, coffee shop, sushi spot, Mexican food, and pizza place inside as well in addition to the brewery. They also have a really nice beer garden. We came here on a Sunday and there is another bar on the patio to order beer from. The beer garden has music playing and some people started dancing! Which was so fun and such a vibe. The beer was very good! My friend got a glass of wine and she also enjoyed it as well. read more

This was my first time here. Great environment and great food. Came here to watch the USA game. But unfortunately, they only have two small TVs for the whole facility. I wish they had bigger screens or at lease more TVs. read more
Great selection of beers from Pilsners, IPAs, to Sours. The staff is friendly and welcoming, especially when it comes to helping you choose a beer. The indoor food hall is packed with great eateries, but make sure to check out their outdoor patio. read more

I have rarely ventured into Whittier, but met up with some buddies for lunch and some beers. The whole area is actually pretty neat and this place is a pretty cool spot. It's like a food hall/food court with cafeteria style seating inside and outside and they have a variety of food options. I saw they had a desert place, crepes, vegan Mexican, pizza, and bbq. They also have some vendors selling different stuff. I'm not a big beer drinker, but it looks like they have a decent selection and different types. The worker was friendly and he'll give you samples if you're not sure what you want to get. I got the Godfather from the pizza place and it was not great, but not terrible either. It had good flavor, but didn't blow me away. My buddies tried the bbq place and they liked it a lot, so if I ever come back, I'm going to have to try that place out. Went on a Sunday so it was pretty busy. The bartender said it's usually not that busy during the weekdays. Parking is pretty rough, but there are plenty of spaces if you're willing to walk a block or so. Overall, a pretty cool concept in a cool part of town. read more

when you walk in this building you walk into good vibes. there is a cute little store at the entrance with so many cute things we got some labubus and pins. the Staff is so friendly and cool. We enjoyed some food and beer. definitely recommend this place read more
First timer & wow! What a unique brewery with ample space in Whittier! The brewery is inside what feels like an old bank but gives German beer hall vibes with the picnic tables and high ceilings! The PINBALL machines are a plus and only 50cents!! Tons of outdoor space too! Space is enough for a big group!!! Ample amount of tables The Beers are GREAT!! They really have something for everyone! They have light beers, ipa's, lagers, marzen, sours, wines and more!!!! The food: they have tons of small businesses inside with AMAZING FOOD OPTIONS! Pizza, wings, to BBQ meat!! This really adds a nice touch!! What did we order: - wings 10/10 -2 margherita pizza 10/10 - 2 capicola pizza 10/10 -cannolis 10/10 - tiramisu 10/10 Overall: we will return!!! Pretty legit place! Good beer and great food. The staff here is super nice and helpful as well. Only downfall is it gets a little warm in there, but not sure if that's normal. I'm from out of town and have only been once. Try the pizza! Super good. There's several other food places in there that looked good, but I didn't get to try them out. BBQ place looks mega popular as they were sold out and closed when we got there at 4pm. Plus, the architecture of the Nixon building is super awesome! Great atmosphere. read more

JW and Marshall are long-lost brothers who were separated at birth and reunited over a pint of IPA here at Whittier Brewing Company!!! They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time -- friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Amazing service and amazing people :) read more

It is pretty good, with the potential to be great. There are some food options- I think it needs at least one more food place and one more dessert place. The beers run IPA-crafty with funny names. I got a witbier. It's a wheatier Whittier. It is a clean, communal space with a large beer garden, but there's no free wi-fi. The lack of wifi makes it hard to commune. The building itself is great, first designed as a neo-classical, high-ceilinged bank, with polished floors and tall French windows, the venue is still handsome and big enough to host weddings at 15,000 sq ft. I just hope the DJs at these weddings don't need wifi. Plus, being a bank, DJs might freak out people when they tell them to get their hands up. read more

There is a parking lot and two parking structures within walking distance of the business.

No, I was just there recently and there are no TVs in the facility. But they do play music.
Is this place kid friendly?
It was such a good time there I had to ask my significant other if there were kids there last night.The answer was a Yes and we were there about 9.
Is there happy hour?
Happy hour all day on Tuesdays! $1 off all pints of beer and $1 off all wine by the glass.

They are only serving tacos and ceviche last time I was there . I have some photos of the tacos . There are two protein choices and the rest are vegan friendly as far as the tacos all are $5 .Ceviche prices averaged $11. Pizza and dumpling choices…
