Brewport is a very spacious brewery with a lively atmosphere right off I-95. It has a wide range of craft beers to choose from their own original IPA's to stouts and lagers from guest craft breweries. The venue has a fair amount of seating both inside and outside the building. Indoor seating is large enough for safe social distancing. Outdoor seating is plentiful with tents and umbrellas to protect guests from the weather. Although its food menu is limited, I was very happy with Brewport's pizza! We got the hamburger pizza as well as the lobster pizza, which was the special at the time. These simple bites complemented our brews very well, all for a pleasant and safe social gathering. I am not in Bridgeport very often. But if I come around again, Brewport is a spot that I'll come back to! read more

Was in a rush to catch the ferry so I sadly could not make it to the New Haven area for a proper CT pie, but ultimately the pictures from this place and convenience drew me in. I opted for the Brewmaster because who the heck doesnt love some Roni', chicken, and peppers? sadly, the pepperoni was inedible. Huge thick circle slabs off what resembles and tastes like it was cut from a commercial meaty tube of dog food brand Pupperoni. The chicken tasted like a cubed / chunky version of the tasteless steamed chicken youd get from chinese takeout. The crust was the only thing that stood out, and it stood out A LOT. Makes me wish I had ordered a standard cheese, or ordered half of it plain, definitely messed up. True new haven style undercarriage slightly overdone paper thin and crispy with those coal marks. Pizza and beer... what's not to like?! We enjoyed several flights, cocktails, and slices while catching up with friends at Brewport. There is ample seating, plentiful beer options, and a wide variety of pizza toppings to choose from. Flights can be constructed with both Brewport beers and their guest taps. Their cocktails are creatively topped with their home crafted brews. Pizza was a tad to thin for my liking , but tasted great. Went here on a Sunday in October w friends visiting from FL w a 4 year old. As soon we walked in noticed 0 TVs (major shame for a Sunday when looking to watch NFL). Also stickers posted on every table "90 min max" but the place was not busy/no one was at risk of overstaying 90 min. Thought this was a little tacky. Say they are kid friendly, but opened one pre-packaged goldfish for our 4 year old (and we ordered beer, 4 pizzas and salad so not like we weren't eating) 1 waitstaff and then the owner (maybe the owner not sure?) came over to our table and yelled at us " you need to put that away it's a major health and food safety issue" (as I was putting it away bc the waiter just asked us to about 3 seconds earlier). Whole experience just awkward would not recommend for atmosphere. But pizza and beer was actually good - just don't go w kids or if you want to see a Tv or if you're looking to stay more than 90 min. read more

Plenty of parking in their lot near their building and directly across the street (also theirs). Checked IDs at the door & got stamped so the waiter didn't need to ask. We were seated quick and our waiter came over right away. The pizza came out in just over 20 minutes - perfect timing. The bar in the middle was nice & the decor was really nice, however the chairs at the table were miserably uncomfortable. Recently came to Brewport for some pizza outside. They have a good set up for outside with most tables being under a large tent. We ordered two pizzas one white with chicken and broccoli and one red with fresh mootz and basil. The red pie was good but an epic fail with the white pie. Instead of soft delicious cheese the pie was cooked wayyyy to long and cheese was hard as a rock from it being overcooked. Super disappointing. Not sure how quick we will come back but if we do we will stay away from white pies. read more

Location good, and ample parking, although, if the lot is full, then come back another time. Great, interesting pizza and salads. Love the lack of TVs...this isn't a sports bar and there are enough of those elsewhere. The one hitch for me is the beer...every draft is way too cold...the European-based recipes for these beers were never designed to be served within an inch of freezing. I struggle too to find a brew that's not too sour or too strong. Used to enjoy the Schluter but that doesn't seem to feature anymore...the Fest beer was ok but not great. I often go to one of the guest beers which kinda defeats the point of a brewery. Like all places these days they don't seem to heat the space....saves money I guess..so dress warmly. read more

Fantastic brewery. Excellent beer selection and the pizza was amazing. I had the Blood Orange beer and it is the perfect refreshing summer beer. Lots of other selections. Pizza is extra thin and amazing. Great taste. If you don't like NY style pizza, you will not like this pizza. Salads are amazing, didn't get a picture of it but the Cesar was amazing. This place used to be pretty solid. But each visit feels more and more like no one cares. The two people seating folks seemed completely flumoxed at whatever sized party they had to seat: 2, 5, 10. Didn't matter, they would unsmilingly stare at the book and take about 4-5 minutes to walk the party to a table in the near empty restaurant. We ordered right away and drinks came about 20 minutes later (maybe more.) Water never came. Cokes were beyond flat. When the order came almost everything was wrong. They were out of gluten-free crust which is one reason we chose to go there, and though our server seemed like a nice person, it took 90 minutes to come (ironic given the 90 minute limit on the table.) Despite the disaster and not getting certain items were billed full rate. Doesn't seem like anyone is even managing the place. Will not be goint back. If you do go leave lots of time and be sure to order beer and a cheese pizza, everything else seems to throw them off. read more

Looks good but can't understand how they can make a tasteless pizza at a place that only does pizza! We had a group of 7 and tried 4 diff pies. All were lacking sauce and cheese and flavoring. And crust ranged from soggy to barely crisp. The gluten free one was worse than frozen ones I have had. Seating for a group of 7 only available as tall table with backless benches and no place to brace your feet - even my 6'3" son was swinging his feet. Service was ok but absent at times and this was a not busy Tuesday night. Get a beer and sit outside or just skip it. One star for the drinks and one for atmosphere. read more

The best pizza outside of New Haven. We have been several times with friends and family, both with and without kids. Every time the pizza is great. Good choice of beers on tap and they have a full bar as well. There is a separate room with games, which is great if you have kids with you. Met a large group here to celebrate the Bridgeport police department graduation. What an absolute disaster, particularly with the service. It was a constant struggle to get our food and various gifts weren't allowed at the table per the manager (cupcakes, wine, etc). Pizza was mediocre at best. Won't be back. read more

Walking up to brewport, the place is... impressive. It's large, it's striking, its factory feel and warehouse industrial atmosphere is current af and who doesn't love brick and reclaimed wood? It's a massive place, big brewery-big beer list, small pizza list but big flavors. I really enjoyed this spot and being so close to the ferry was a big bonus for us Long Island folks. I don't think a beerventure would be complete if you didn't make this a stop on the list. The pizzas were good, the beers were too, I can't really express it any other way than straight and to the point. The service was friendly and If I didn't like the place as much as I did, I'd still go back for one of the waitresses who hates the shirt she's gotta wear... I think their fine and obviously she looked pretty good in it. I hope she reads this and messages me, I wanna talk. Again with the tangents; I digress... again; sorry readers. Had a great time at Brewport. This was our first time here and we've heard lots of good things and it definitely met our expectations. This place was huge and there was a party going on in the back so a great place for events. They have tons a booth which I feel is pretty rare and nice for a brewery to have. I'm not even a beer drinker but I got a light fruity one and really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back especially in the summer! read more

Rarely do I write a poor review... but this one needs to be addressed for people who wish to show up with a large group of people. For the past three years, we have frequented Brewport as a staff graduation after party and we questioned tonight why we keep going back. Is the food good? Yes. Are the drinks good? Do we stay and spend money on tons of food and drink for hours? A resounding yes.Yes. Is the patio nice? Yes... when we're not yelled at for using it... I'll expand on this. The first year we tried to go to Brewport, we called and asked if we could reserve the patio. We were told they would put us in a private room and charge us a ridiculous amount of money to rent it. The draw here in June is the outside patio and the wonderful weather. So we showed up anyways and sat at tables individually and everyone ordered food and drinks. The following year we just showed up. We were told by the manager at the time to just give him a heads up so he could be prepared and we could use the patio. We also used tables and sat at the bar. This year, we called a week ago. Told them we were coming with about 30 people as requested the year prior. Told them we were to be ordering about 12 or so pizzas and drinks and the time we were coming and was given no issue.. Last night we showed up. They were again not prepared. It took time to find the manager who then told us our party was too large and to move us to the inside party room (which doesn't even have windows).. we were shocked as we talked the week prior. Now at this point, it was not set up yet and people were trickling in. One coworker asked to buy a drink at the bar and was told "only if you're staying at the bar."... what??? She was going to grab... and pay for.. a drink then move to the other side when the party was set up. Don't people always buy a drink at the bar if they're waiting for a table? This was ridiculous. The two waitresses and one food runner tried their best but seemed very frazzled with running the whole restaurant by themselves. drinks were coming out sporadically, or not at all, or 30 min after when others got out in ten. But again, I don't think they were made aware of this and they tried their best. When we were done in the side room after 2.5 hours... we closed out our tab and then individual tabs and about ten people moved to the bar ... We then ordered more pizzas and multiple to go food. To get a drink from the bartender was near impossible at this point as we were met by blatant Ignoring ... eye rolls... side comments under the breath .. yeah, we all saw you talking smack.... You don't like to hustle abs make money? Half the restaurant was full.... If that... and if we did get a drink, it took way too much time. Mind you, we again spent money until 10pm. We all noticed as 80 percent of us have been servers and or bartenders. Needless to say, it made for a disappointing experience. The pizza may be good but we won't be back read more

What a horrendous experience! We ordered pickup and when we got the pizza home, there were slices missing from one!! I've never experienced anything so shocking and unsanitary in my life. I called to inform them and after waiting on hold more than five minutes, the manager rudely picked up the phone with a terrible attitude as if the issue were my fault. He immediately said there was nothing he could do for me, although I hadn't asked for him to do anything! Moreover, he had a whole set of remedies available if he were a decent business operator - remake the pizza, refund the pizza, offer a credit, simply be a nice guy... On top of the absolutely terrible service, the pizzas weren't tasty at all. The bacon was super dry and salty and the pizza was tough and chewy. It was a very busy evening and there was no one manning the front desk and the to go orders when we picked our food up. Be ware that the lack of food supervision and quality control means ANYTHING could be going on with your order, which is a scary and gross thought! Avoid Brewport at all costs! read more

My boyfriend and I got a seat at the bar first and each ordered a flight then found a nice seat outside. Their selection was vast so I tried two of their and two other randos. This was my second or third time being to Brewport and man, it was super packed and busy for dinner on a Tuesday night (surprisingly) but the service was great from beginning to start of our night. The place was full of energy! It was like a mini club of some sort, everyone was having a good time. My girlfriend and I decided to build our Large pizza, which can feed 3-4 people, and it was delicious! (See pictures for the toppings) The toppings were really fresh but some bites/parts of the pizza were a little more burnt than I would have liked. Also, we had to wait a little longer than usual for our pizza, it was close to 40 mins when mostly everyone in the place was at the bar area. I also got to try this Sour beer, it was a house made beer. I don't recommend it to be honest because the sour is SUPER overbearing and did not have any hint of anything else, flavor wise. read more

I am tough on pizza places, I really am. But Brewport did well in my mind. First, the place is huge, and has a great location right on the highway. It has plenty of games for those drinking and partying, and plenty of young people. With that said, if you want a quiet night, this is not the place for you. If you want to party, welcome. Anyway, second, is the pizza. I can do without beer, so I won't even talk about that. The pizza was good pizza. I don't have criticisms for it, though my standards are always too high for the cheese pizza, so I will just appreciate the chewy dough, the burnt parts, what makes brick oven pizza great. But, there was one pizza that made me go back for slice after slice--the Korean Barbecue pizza. Disclaimer: I LOVE kimchi. You get a bowl of kimchi with this pizza. In what world is this not an amazing thing. Instead of trying to blend this, with the deliciously marinated meat on the pizza, the chefs chose to give the customer the option to make your own. Boy was it amazing, with every bite, a sweet meat, savory sauce and cheese, and sour, tangy kimchi. It is literally the entire food palate on a plate. And then add on to that the variety of toppings are outstanding. Our waiter was Teddy and he was attentive, on hand, quick, friendly and profesional. I hate to do this because we enjoy Brewport and we think the pizzas and service was excellent. But prior to a concert we had made reservations. The table did say a 90 minute limit. After ordering salad and the pizza we quickly came up on our time and the owner asked us to leave. We didn't have our check yet so we did ask for it and had just paid the second time the owner asked us to leave again. He said people were waiting and would be late for the show. But no one was waiting in the lobby and there were two large and two medium empty tables in the front room. We were two people. After leaving we met people outside that had also gotten asked to leave for the same reason. This could be a great business but with the owner being rude and asking tables to leave for no reason why would we keep going back? read more

By far the worst eatery experience of my life! From the seating hostess giving away the table we were waiting for, to waiting 10 minutes for a server to acknowledge our presence once we were seated, then waiting another 20 minutes for our drinks. Our meals were delivered timely but so badly prepared we could not eat. When we just decided to pay or check and leave we were presented with charges for items never served. Taking over 20-minutes to straighten out I decided to just pay whatever they wanted and told the manager I'll pay for the items never served just to get out of there. The manager, clearly frustrated with the line of customers waiting to complain lost his composure and embarrassed himself terribly. This place needs to be avoided at all cost!!! read more
