Short review: Easily the best coffee shop and cafe on campus…read more Long review: Imagine you're a senior engineering student. It's Friday, so you pop by your favorite on-campus coffee shop, Two Creek, with a friend and grab an oat-milk cappuccino, and what the heck, throw in a bag of vegan, gluten free cookies. Good cappuccino, perfect thing to make your first class less boring, even somewhat pleasant. Forget about the cookies in your bag, they'll wait until tonight. Fine day, a few classes, a few conversations and an early lunch and you're done. It's 2 PM, so you figure you could pop by your undergraduate research job and run a test you thought you got ready on Tuesday. Turns out it'll take two hours to set up. Your boss is busy so you get her top lab to help you out. He keeps trying to do his own job, but you keep bothering him so he 'leads you by the hand' through the belated test set-up. He leaves, you finish setting up. You take your first test readings, grab sample number 1, raise the test solutions PH, and repeat. But you goofed on the PH, lower it and take your readings. Raise it again and take the next reading, one of your machines is giving weird numbers, but that's okay, right? Raise the PH and collect sample 4, oh wait, you've only grabbed one other sample. Frick. Call your boss to scrap the test. They come down and agree, you need to redo the test and the machine is being weird. Spend two hours cleaning up, questioning your life, and have your sister text you asking where you are. Leave the lab, anxious, shaky, and hangry. Get ready for your 1.5 hour commute home. It's late so every store, food place, and cafe on campus are closed. Open your bag to get a sip of water for your parched mouth, and there they are. The cookies. Elation and quick carbs fill you. They're pretty good, or you're mighty hungry. Your night has been saved. That's what Two Creek is, a bright spot at the beginning, or end, of an unpredictable college day.

There aren't a lot of good food options but a good number of coffee options. I love their turmeric latte, but it hasn't been available for quite some time. The coffee shop is closed during summer due to a lack of students. They also have a reward program that gets you a free coffee after every ten purchases, which works great for students. Service is speedy, and everyone is friendly.

Now that my daughter is here visiting me, I was able to send her down to the shop to grab me something yummy to drink. I haven't had a pink drink for a few years. Now that I have my new kidney, I'm allowed to have coconut milk again. With that being said, that will be my first drink I plan on tearing up as a sweet treat. The pink drink was the last drink I had before I was diagnosed with my kidney disease and today's it's my first real drink to celebrate my new kidney. My sweet daughter headed downstairs and got it for me. It looks so heavenly! The sweetest shade of pink. It was creamy! It was sweet! And it had all the fun inclusions in it. In the morning I snagged a sugar free vanilla matcha. Just as perfect as my pink drink, my matcha was perfection! It had a nice amount of matcha. It was creamy with a nice amount of sweet. I try to go to local coffee joints. Supporting small businesses is so important but you can not not enjoy what Starbys pushes out. Not gonna lie, my two drinks were what I needed and lifted my spirits. I look forward to having a few more while I'm at the hospital for my visits.

I had never seen the strawberries and cream cake pop before and wanted to try it and I'd give it a 9/10 if you like strawberry cake flavor! It was $3.45. It was adorably designed and very yummy, perfect to curb a little sweet craving. Having been here before, I can say I'd recommend ordering on the Starbucks app because the wait can be fairly longgg, depending on the time of day you order. Most of the morning is pretty busy so this can save you a lot of time because the app will let you know when your order is ready for pickup so you aren't waiting around the shop for 10-20 min. There's a decent amount of seating which allows for an area to meet up with others or conduct a business meeting or do some work. Most of the staff are pretty nice and they do their best on the wait times, considering it's the only location in the hospital. I would recommend this place and the cake pops! ;)

This place has quickly become a staple every time I am in SLC and with a seasonal rotating menu, plus all the normal coffee shop classics, there's something for everyone. Matcha is great, chai is solid, coffee is great and they even have a decent selection of other teas. Don't even get me started on the assortment of breakfast foods and pastries (wonderful)! Their sourdough toast is a must and boasts an array of fresh toppings to choose from that anyone can find something they'll like. Price is average. Service is quick and friendly. Presentation is nice-enough (nothing to gawk at). There are minimal outlets but lots of seating indoor and outdoor, but there is seemingly always a line so that must mean the locals love it too. I'd come early! Oh! They also have a board full of community events and a local artist sticker machine which makes me excited every time I'm in town. For this visit, I got an iced oat banana matcha and a sourdough slice w ricotta and seasonal berries. The matcha was buttery and smooth, well mixed, and lightly sweet. You can definitely taste the banana but it is minimal, which I like. The toast came warm and soft and crispy in all the right places. Blackberries and blueberries were juicy and complimented the cheese/bread nicely. The honey added the softest sweetness, tying it all together.

Such a good spot to study/get some work done. They also have outdoor seating. My husband and I walked here for a coffee. The girl working was really nice. I got the banana brown sugar iced latter and my husband got the browned butter Carmel latte iced. The banana brown sugar wasn't quite as sweet as I wanted but still good. My husband thought it had a really strong banana flavor while I could hardly taste the banana at all. His was sweeter than mine so I liked that one a little more. Overall, I'd highly recommend this spot either to grab a coffee or to go hang. We didn't get good this time, but I'd like to try it since the menu looks amazing!!

I didn't know which cup was mine, and instead of helping politely, she just stood at the counter barking at me, saying, "No, no, that one is yours," while glaring at me like she was some kind of Viking. Even after I already got my drink, she was still there, acting like some kind of sheriff, pointing fingers and yelling. Seriously, lady, this is a civilized society, not the Stone Age. If you're not getting paid enough, don't take it out on customers--just quit instead of barking at people. Six to seven dollars for a cup of NASTY TASTING coffee, and it gave me a splitting headache for the rest of the night --felt like my brain was about to explode. I had to take headache relief pills. This never happened with other coffee shops. Thinking back, their coffee just tastes way too sugary and gross. The Bob Marley is supposed to have banana flavor. FYI, it does not have banana flavor. I'd much prefer the Korean version of banana latte. Never coming back to this overpriced and overcrowded sketchy place. Also I met my stalker here before, yeah he leaned against my car door when I tried to get home. Girls please do not come here alone, this place is NOT SAFE. Would rather give my money to a homeless person than buy crappy tasting mocha with RATCHET HOODRAT SERVICE. The only reason people are here is bc they open late and need to finish their work or school projects. And the only cute part of this coffee shop is probably the cute dogs people bring with them to the coffee shop.
