Good Morning All! Normally I don't write bad reviews if I don't need to but this needs to be…read morebrought to attention. I used to go to chu and yang when they were in Orange and so did my family for many many years. I stopped going because they always found something in my mouth be it a cavity or a root canal that needed to be done. However, after one bad experience which I won't go into detail I decided to ignore my oral health due to fear of the dentist and ridicule. Fast forward ten years later I decided to see a new dentist... after my initial intake I was told I had only one cavity v.s the last time I saw chu and yang who stated I had several if not more on every tooth in my mouth. Someone please tell me how a well established dental office with pleasant and amazing staff is telling me I needed a root canal done and then some fillings, yet the new dentist I go to tells me I have one tiny cavity which would be dealt with after my deep cleaning? And I did not need any root canals as well? Something isn't right here and this has sat with me for many many days. I don't need a root canal. I don't have several if not more cavities per my previous chart... what is going on? Yes, the staff is amazing and well accommodating at least 10 years ago but...how can I have so many cavities? Yet my new dentist says I have one small tiny one? Was I being charged and put through unwanted procedures and mental strain? Sure seems like it. I want to give the benefit of the doubt but I also think people should have two opinions when seeing a dentist cause clearly the amount of work I needed to have done was very minimal v.s what was stated to me 10 years prior. And I'm saving so much more money v.s the hundreds if not thousands I had charged at Chu and Yang. In closing. Yes, Dr chu and yang are a great practice, but I can't help but think who else was told they needed work done when they truly didn't need it? I truly hope things have changed at the practice but note I will not be coming back. Thank you.

They got me in within an hour of when I called and sure enough, I had an infection under one of my teeth and before I knew it, I was having a root canal. Due to the infection and needing to take antibiotics for a week, it took 3 trips, but the pain was gone almost immediately and except for the initial shoot on the roof of the mouth, didn't feel a thing. (I did take a pain killer that afternoon after the nerve was removed, there's nothing that can be done about that pain once the Novocain wears off). They did their best to schedule the remaining appointments around my work schedule which I greatly appreciated. I mustcompliment Dr. Berger. He's been my dentist for about 15 years now, and is so good at explaining what's going on, what's going to happen next when you're in the chair, and very careful to make sure you're not feeling any pain during the procedure. The front desk staff is amazing. Very friendly and efficient. As long as I live in the area, I don't see myself changing dentists for a long time.

The Doctor is knowledgeable, gentle, and thorough. He always takes the time to explain every step of a procedure and always ensures I feel comfortable and informed. The hygienists are equally as impressive. Both Courtney and Katie are exceptional. The cleaning is always painless, and they explain every step of what they are doing. They and are also always very informative when it comes to offering oral health tips! It never feels rushed and I always leave with a SMILE! And we always manage to get a few laughs in too. I recommended her to talk to Dr. Pham and even though it was not his speciality, he was able to recommend the best dentists who could help her. She has been following their recommendations for a few months now and finally regained most of the feeling back in her chin! (Nerve damage takes longer to heal) Honestly, if it wasn't for Dr. Pham and his recommendations, my mom would have had numbness in her chin forever. tldr - Dr. Rosales helped me fix the discoloration on my front two crowns, which had been bothering…read moreme for the past NINE years. More importantly, he also helped me avoid a gum surgery that could have cost me thousands of dollars down the line. Previously, my old dentist spotted an infection and referred me to an endodontist, who insisted I needed an apicoectomy (gum surgery) or an implant. I was shocked and distraught. At my consultation with Dr. Rosales, he carefully explained the risks of jumping into such an invasive procedure and offered thoughtful alternatives. His professional and caring bedside manner really put my anxiety at ease. Soon after, he consulted my case with an endodontist and came back with a meticulous treatment plan. The treatment involved a root canal, lots of whitening, and replacing my two discolored crowns. My new smile is truly transformed and I'm absolutely ELATED! I used to contemplate about getting full on veneers but my end result looks just as good if not better. Shout out to Dr. Rosales and his staff for making this gnarly treatment a breeze!
