Will start by saying Brett (GM) and David (used sales mgr.) ultimately made some of this right, but overall the transaction was a complete mess. For context, I never write negative reviews about any business, but this situation warrants it. That said, Brett and David seem like stand up guys who worked to correct the issues. Got a car from them to be shipped out of state. Waited a month for the brake recall which I knew about ahead of time. Was planning on having the car inspected by a 3rd party BMW mechanic since I'm 2000 miles away. The salesperson, Brandi, dissuaded me from doing it saying the car was mint and that it was under warranty ("not a ding or scratch on the car"). She also said the car would go through service anyway. Over the course of the transaction I asked for the service records 2 times and never received them. Last time I asked Brandi for them she said "i could have sold this car 4 times and that she would send them". Low and behold the car came with dings scratches, bald tires, a service light saying it needed service in 450 miles. It never went through inspection/service at their dealership. ALSO, they sent it with NO temp tags because they forgot. While that is unbelievable, I suppose it didn't matter because temp tags aren't legal in my state. They told me they had a tagging agency that handled all 50 states and knew how to do it. It turned out that it took almost 1 month after delivery to get my plates. The car sat in the driveway for 1 month. We had 1 car to deal with getting to work and getting the kids around. BH ultimately paid to get new tires and for service done by a local BMW dealership. That said, I'm now paying to get dings out of the car out of my own pocket and there are scratches I'm not sure I can get removed. It will likely cost me an additional $500-$1k+ to get the dent out and all the scratches buffed out, if possible. They had the BMW dealership by me detail the car but that was superficial and did nothing to address the dings and scratches. Be very careful with BH if buying remotely. I'm not saying they intentionally tried to ship the car without putting money into it (tires) and having it serviced, but I have to wonder how the car got shipped like that after I asked for the service records multiple times over the course of almost 2 months. I also realize I never should have let them ship the car without sending me the info I requested and I definitely should have had the 3rd party inspection done. Live and learn. read more

I purchased a 528 BMW sedan. I actually am a serial buyer of BMW vehicles! I am the type of shopper that is very brand loyal. Ever since I purchased my first BMW I fell in love with the nice folks at Brian Harris BMW in Baton Rouge, LA. I have always worked with Ms Cynthia Wyatt and think the absolute world of her. She listens to me and meets me right where I am, she is tuned to what I say and how that would translate to my needs in a vehicle. The service department is also outstanding! Mr. Brent, Mr. Rick, Ronnie Santangelo are amazing, helpful and very knowledgeable about the vehicles and the best options for me. In general, when I walk in the dealership everyone is very nice and friendly. Twice I ended up arriving a little later than I expected and Ms. Wyatt and the finance person stayed to help me finish my paperwork so I could complete the purchase of my car. The staff at Brian Harris works very hard to assist their customers and facilitate ease of whatever transaction I have needed whether it has been purchasing a new car or servicing a current vehicle. I could not be happier with the wonderful staff at Brian Harris BMW!! Brian Harris BMW, more particularly Aaron Boykins did an outstanding job during the out of state purchase of my BMW 640i convertible. I thought at one point I was asking too many questions but they were prompt and courteous the entire way through. It was by far the easiest process of buying a car out of state I've ever went through. When our plan transitioned from delivery to in person pickup, Aaron was there promptly at the airport to pick me up. Moments after arriving at the dealership, they pulled around my 6 series all detailed and freshly washed. Aaron showed me everything inside and I was on the road and back home in no time. We purchased a 2016 Mini Cooper CountrymanS and are absolutely thrilled with the price, purchase incentives, and above all the really personal service we received from the sales representative, Seth LeBlanc and the business manager, Jason Breaux. Both men went out of their way to make us feel they cared about us. Jason took considerable time going over the financing and was very patient in explaining what all of our financial options were. When we picked up the car it had been 'detailed' beautifully. Seth spent considerable time going over various aspects of the car, especially standard equipment and accessories to insure that I understood how everything functioned before driving away. The car salesman was great. Very informed about the options that were available and how to use the features. He was diligent in locating the car I wanted with the specs we decided were good for our needs. However, the service after the sale has been a little lacklustre.
