My purchase was a quick smooth transaction. Never buy a vehicle rushing. You can't trust everyone. I have a deep cut in a tire and 3 cracks in my windshield that is obviously my problem. Buyer beware when purchasing a car online from Brian Harris Audi at Baton Rouge. I bought a CPO Audi A5 in October 2022. I paid more for a CPO with the assurance that the car had been thoroughly inspected and was in working order. After purchasing the car, I found that none of the tech features in the car were working. I contacted the dealership FIVE times (before receiving a response) regarding the issue, just to find out that the MMI technology module no longer worked. Long story short, I drove the car for over 6 months with none of the tech features due to a backordered part. If they would have done their due diligence as promised, this would not have been an issue. Furthermore, the car was sold to me with bad tires that are completely shot. I've only driven the car 5k miles in 6 months, and I'm already on the hook for $1,500 worth of tires. They also did not change the oil, so I ended up using my 30k mile service at the 23k mark. If you look at my other reviews, they are positive. I'm not one to bash a company online without good reason. I understand mistakes happen, but the problem I'm having with this dealership and Audi as a whole is the lack of customer service and follow-through. THESE GUYS DON'T CARE, and best of luck receiving a response from them. I contacted Audi USA SEVEN times, and the dealership, nor Audi ever followed through with a response to me. This was my first experience buying a car online, so if you find yourself looking to buy a car without seeing it in person yourself, know that this dealership will not take any accountability if there are issues. Service department is a nightmare. I thought it would be top of the line. I was so wrong. My Q5 2013 was purchased there and has been there only for service -- no where else -- even just to top the oil off. But even with an appointment, even that is well over a 2 hour wait. Fast forward to about ten days ago. I get in the car and the A/C isn't blowing. So I call to set up an appointment to at least start the diagnostic process. I am told by a very annoyed guy that I could set up the appt, but it would be a minimum of five days to look at it. The big problem was they said I had to leave it with them the five days...I was like, no, just give me an appt in five days. They refused and said that wasn't possible. I had to leave it the minimum five days or they wouldn't schedule an appointment. The car was running perfectly...there was no reason for me to be down a car while it sat idle in their lot. When I asked why the backlog situation, I was literally told (this will sound made up, but it is true) that it was due to the tariff situation, that people were getting their cars worked on instead of buying new cars and that's why they were so backlogged. No matter how you feel about the tariffs, this was bull! I called, believe it or not, Siegen Car Care and asked if they serviced Audis. They said they did. I had nothing to lose. I arrived with no appt a few days later at 11:00 a.m. Let me add that every rack was raised and had a vehicle on it. I never expected them to be able to look at it so quickly. They diagnosed it as a blower motor and I left there literally before 2:00 that same day with my air working just like it always had. I will never in a million years go back to that Audi dealership. I also checked the price that Siegen Car Care charged me...they were $10 under the low number in the range if you Googled it. I feel certain the dealership would have been above the highest in the range, but, of course, I never got that far. service dept has been going down for years. i have 2 cars currently bought at this dealership all cars serviced by dealer for 10 years and 6 respectively. i driven cars home with oil filter not on and oil all over driveway. Service is currently taking over two weeks to even diagnose my vehicle. They said they are backed up, which I do understand happens, but I had to call the service department after a week of dropping my car off, just to find out virtually no work is being performed. The service provider said he would call me back the following afternoon with an update, which did not happen. I had to call them two days later to get an update, to which they pushed back the date to even get the diagnosis completed, which means parts wont be ordered, which means the actual work will not be completed for another week-and-a-half. Why am I putting in more work than the employees? Why can I not get an update so that I can make plans to pull my car out, which would cut down on their workload. The crazy part is that, while on a roadtrip, the Audi dealership in Jacksonville, FL was able to change my oil AND diagnose the issue for me. They had the part, but because of the amount of work it would take to repair, they quoted me three days to be completed with quality control, but I couldn't stay as I have to work. That was the level of service I was looking for. Jacksonville understood my situation and worked with me, and constantly and consistently updated me, so that I can make plans. The service provider did say that if I pulled my car, the other dealership would have to do their own diagnosis as dealerships do not communicate with one-another. BATON ROUGE location has been completely 180 level of service. I don't get it. One star because the service provider is polite but he does not communicate with me at all outside of myself taking initiative to call them. VERY FRUSTRATING! Our Audi Sales Specialist Mike went above and beyond to help ensure we were completely satisfied. He and the Manager, Charles, addressed any concerns, and we left feeling good about her purchase. The Finance Manage RD was very friendly, honest, and forthcoming with all the details. We felt no pressure at all working with this team. The gentleman who cleaned the SUV did a fantastic job. The car looked like it came off the showroom floor. We had an issue a day later that the dealership handled with no problem. I would highly recommend this team. My very expensive car is worthless. To make matters worse, the dealership misdiagnosed the problem and charged me for a bunch of repairs before telling me the engine was out. The general manager initially told me charges would be waived for the unnecessary repairs but then changed his mind. Two out of the three times they have shared that they are understaffed and cannot make any appointment for 3 to 4 weeks for a simple oil change. Everyone is great ... until you sign the paperwork, then they don't give a damn about you or your vehicle. My Q7 had faulty windshield washer nozzles (poorly aimed, easy fix, right?) and it took FOUR visits across the span of 18 MONTHS before they got both of them aligned properly. After the 3rd try one of the nozzles was completely missing the windshield! What kind of idiot did that? Service advisers lie about time frames for repairs (1-2 hours has turned into overnight stays for my Q7 two out of three times I've brought it for service. One of those times was just for an oil change!). Electronics system is clunky and overly complicated (and I'm an engineer & tech-head). When I buy a car I spend literally months doing research before making a decision. When I went to Audi Baton Rouge to buy my Q7 I had a comprehensive list of what I wanted in the vehicle. Besides it being nearly impossible to get in a color other than black or white (how imaginative!) the sales person ended up getting me a blue Q7 that didn't have adaptive cruise. Wow, adaptive cruise is standard in most "pedestrian" cars these days, but Audi sells it as an upgrade?! What's next? Charging extra for headlights? I should've known at that moment that I was dealing with a business that only cared about money, not the customer. And they weren't even interested in trying to fake it! They're just dismissive, especially the service department. The people they hire to work the service desk have zero customer service skills and absolutely no desire to help. Most of what they tell you is a lie, with the cost of repairs being the only thing close to the truth. Again, money, not people at Audi Baton Rouge. If you're looking for a nice SUV, forget the Q7 (and the Q5 which is a bumpy, noisy, POS that feels like a tin can on a skateboard) and look at BMW or Lexus. If you're in Baton Rouge, definitely check out Price LeBlanc Lexus; you may get screwed there, too, like any dealership, but at least they're friendly about it and their service department is competent. Here's a few more reasons to avoid Audi Baton Rouge and not buy an Audi Q7: -No storage in center console (or really anywhere else). -The wireless phone charging pad under the center armrest is too small for larger phones (My Galaxy S9+, S21, & my wife's Galaxy A71 are all too large to fit) rendering it useless. -Center console armrests "slide" forward, presumably for some kind of comfort, but all they end up doing is causing you to slip when you put any pressure on them. They can be dangerous while driving. -No sunglasses holder. None. Not even a thought by Audi. -Tiny cupholders with no lighting makes them impossible to see in dark conditions. Most soft drink cups you get at restaurants will fit very tightly and if they're styrofoam the spring-loaded stabilizers in the cup holders can break the cup causing it to leak everywhere. -Electronics system is clunky and overly complicated (and I'm an IT engineer & tech-head). -Driver assistance features often slam on the brakes when there's nothing there which is dangerous (and will scare the hell out of you). -Built-in navigation is less reliable than asking a tree for directions and takes almost a full minute to launch. And forget the laughably bad voice commands. I've never been able to give it any voice commands that it understands while Android Auto will work almost flawlessly. -Adaptive cruise control is an "upgrade" while relatively inexpensive Toyotas have it by default. My wife's Highlander, which was priced at less than half my Q7, came standard with adaptive cruise. -NO SPARE TIRE! "Run flat" tires are a joke and finding an Audi dealership while on the road is difficult since there aren't many in the USA (I now understand why.). -There's a jack, but there's no place in or on the Q7 to store it. They just tossed it in the back like so much cargo. Keeping it at home would defeat its purpose, not being able to keep it safely in the vehicle is just stupid on the part of Audi. In an accident the heavy, metal jack would become a deadly projectile, but they don't care. -Middle seat only comes in "bench" style, no buckets available. They're hard, uncomfortable, feel cheap, and make a squeaking sound while driving when they have no passengers weighing them down. -Rear seats too small for anyone except young children. -AC can't be kept on "recirculate" even if set that way in the vehicle's software. I pointed this out to the dealership and the service guys were surprised so they tried it on 4 other Q7s and they all did the same thing - didn't work. So they told me, "this must be how it's designed" which means they designed it broken. -Touch unlock has an annoying delay that has me pulling at the handle before the car decides to unlock. My Toyotas unlock the very instant I touch the handle. RUN AWAY! read more

Both times I have used the service department it has been a disaster. First time my car was kept for 2 nights / 3 days for a small repair, and they didn't even order the part I specified I needed when setting up the appt. No one could be clear with me if the part would come in soon, so I picked up my car. The "part was ordered" and I was supposed to bring my car back. No one ever followed up with me when the part came in. I figured oh well - I would just get it done next time I needed an oil change or something. A few months later I find another small thing to be repaired. Now I can get both things knocked out. I set up the appt in advance. I triple check with Jessica that both parts it will need are in stock before I drop off (I learned my lesson from the previous time) because it is extremely inconvenient to give my car up. (Their loaners book out for 2 weeks so you can never get in quickly if you need a loaner). I specify the 3 VERY SMALL things that need to be replaced/checked. I hear nothing for a day and a half, so I call. I'm told neither part are in. Weird - because I have texts from Jessica saying the part WAS in before I dropped my car off. Okay, moving on from those 2 things then. I asked if the tire has been checked like I asked. "I don't know - I will have the service manager call you." He never calls. I am called the next day (we are on day 3 here for 3 very minor things) to say the car is ready. I'm confused, because I was just told the parts were delayed. I'm also confused because no one can tell me if my freaking tire has been checked. I ask both of these things seeking clarification. "I don't know." So in these several days, no one with any actual accurate information has informed me what's going on with my car and no one can tell me if the 3 little things it needed have been done. I need my car, they say it's ready, so I decide to have faith they did the 3 little things. I take a $15 uber out there to pick up my car. Apparently the computer AND the paperwork can only be deciphered by certain staff members (makes no sense), so no one can tell me if the tire was checked. Instead of waiting in line for the 1 PERSON that has that deciphering ability to get off the phone, I tell them to just call me (the burden is on them, not the customer. Customer service 101). I get the call later that "Yeah the tire was never put on the order, you'll have to bring your car back to have it checked." That is strange because when I dropped it off, the lady at the desk and I talked about it at length and how it could be an issue depending on where the leak was, so they would have to check it to see if it could be done. If we talked about it at length, and I asked repeatedly before dropping it off, repeatedly asked over the phone before picking it up, why wasn't it done? I worked in customer service for many years in several fields, so I like to give people the benefit of the doubt before leaving a bad review. I left e-mails with both Brian Harris Group (twice) and Jenna Shay at Audi to speak to someone. Maybe there's something I'm not understanding. Maybe there was a mass firing or mass staff quitting - I just wanted to hear their side because surely something could explain how insanely awful this department operates. BHG never responded to me and Jenna let my repeated request to talk to someone fall through the cracks. Falling through the cracks seems to be the theme of the service department. I bought my Audi in Lafayette, so I had no idea this service department was so awful. I was so excited to own an Audi so this is really disappointing. I wish I hadn't bought an extended warranty because I am going to have to take my car elsewhere now to get thorough work in a timely manner with decent communication. In no world is it normal to bring your car back multiple times TO HAVE A TIRE CHECKED after repeated asks were ignored. Thank goodness these were all minor repairs and nothing worse. I'd like to share the terrible experience that my wife and I had today (4/23/22) with Brian Harris Audi of Baton Rouge. We arrived, and the sales guy (Eric) that we'd been speaking to met us at the door. He took us straight to the vehicle that we were there to look at, test drive, and possibly purchase. We took the vehicle for a test drive and when we arrived back at the dealership this young guy with a man bun walked up to the driver's door side and asked if this was our vehicle, and my response was not yet. This guy stepped back and took a photo of the vehicle with my wife and I in the driver's and passenger's seats without our permission. When we arrived inside and met with our salesman, I asked him if the young guy that approached us was an employee of Brian Harris, and at least he was honest by saying yes he was an employee. I proceeded to letting him know that I felt uncomfortable with how this all happened, and explained to him that this was very unprofessional and made me feel that this was one of their sales tactics to try and force consumers to buy due to someone else waiting to buy the vehicle, hence supply and demand. From this point on, we didn't feel comfortable with how all of this unfolded including the fact that they were only wanting to give us close to $5,000 less than the lowest amount that Carfax said it was worth for my trade, and didn't want to reduce the MSRP as well. I bought a used 2013 SUV from Audi of Baton Rouge , you expect excellent service from a name like an Audi dealership, when i picked up the car, it was duty and dusty inside and out, i has to request the engine be wash because it was complete duty . and they just ran the car through the dealer car wash , no detailing . Then after i took it home i found the rear wiper blade broken, i had to fill up the engine coolant and wash fluids , replaced the engine air filter and had the car detailed and clean myself . Very disappointed with my first experience at Audi . Will not recommend this dealership. Can't trust the report done on the car 27 point inspection!! Once we got the car back to Charleston we took it toMcDaniel Audi and had to pay$1800.00 to fix the $1100.00 "repairs" BrianHarris had done. Absolutely everything they had dome was wrong or incomplete including installing the wrong parts for the rain sensor and not replacing retaining clips that had been removed for the oil change. Thanks to McDaniel Audi the car is back in top notch shape despite the horrific job Brian Harris Audi did. My 2019 Q5 started pulling to right so when I had to bring it in for a recall, I requested Audi check it. They called and let me know I needed an alignment and it would be $695 because I have "driver's assistance" (Keeps the car in the lane). I let them know I didn't think I had this but because they throw my windows sticker away I could not be sure. They promised that I did and would show me where it was on my cat when I picked it up. My husband called after that to let them know I did not have the feature and he didn't want the repair and they said it was too late because they already started working on it. I arrive at the shop the following day and they come out to show me how to initiate the lane assist. She goes back in and gets a colleague to check the car and then she goes back in the shop. She comes back out a few minutes later to tell me I don't have it and she will adjust the bill. She gives me a bill for $495 because she says I have cameras that still needed calibrating. I left at that point because I was tired of dealing with it. I went home and called other Audi dealerships and asked what they charged for this service. They all said $199 so I called back my dealership. The manager was at lunch and would call me back (I was told). I called back hours later and the manager answered. He claimed that I still should have been charged for the calibration but would adjust the price as a courtesy. Never apologized or admired any wrong doing. He said someone who does the credits would call me. Of course, no one did so I called back. I got the person I needed and she claimed she couldn't the refund that day because I already had a charge and credit to my card. She would send me a confirmation email the following day. This never happened. I cannot say enough how annoyed I with this place!!! I have BMWs in Dallas and Sewell is amazing so I was hoping my Audi dealership in BR would at least care about my satisfaction. I will NEVER buy another car from Brian Harris ever again. Horrible Experience ever! If I had a choice, I wouldn't give it any stars. Andrew was my point of contact for services. He did a horrible job of following up. I'm an hour and a half away. I arrive 10:30am to have the car serviced. Of course, we didn't purchase the vehicle from Audi but from somewhere else... I don't get a loaner vehicle until the car is finished servicing. Well, I had one of the guys drop me off at the mall to kill time. 12:30pm comes around, I decide to call and the front desk mention he's at lunch wont be back until 1pm. I'm thinking ok, something must be wrong. As I wait around, I decide to call at 3:30pm...he finally answers and lets me know the problem to the car and ask permission. WTH. Something so small and little with a LACK of communication fired me up. I wasted my entire day waiting around on their service and it only took 40 mins to fix. I purchased my vehicle from here, and it was the worst experience by far. They are incredibly unprofessional, stuck up, and racist. They messed up multiple MULTIPLE times on everything when purchasing my vehicle. The old lady in the finance office is probably the most stuck up, entitled lady I have ever came across in the car industry. This location does not care about people's needs. They only care about money. I am aware that a lot of dealerships care about money, but at least they treat humans like people and not a burden. The majority of the people that work here are fake, rude, and selfish. I would NOT recommend this location for any of your services. I would drive straight to New Orleans or Lafayette for my services. Everytime I had brought my vehicle to this location, I was treated poorly, employees took as long as they could on my vehicle to make sure they get the highest amount they can be paid for the service, and NONE of the services at Audi Baton Rouge were written in my service history when trying to check a few things out. my wife recently got a new job that provides her with a car allowance. while we weren't fully prepared to buy a new car, the prospect of the extra cash flow had us excited, and the fact that my wife would have to do a lot of driving made it seem necessary. after a couple bad experiences wandering lots, we decided to browse at home before making the trip to a lot. my wife found a few cars at brian harris and sent them an email letting them know what we were looking for and what we were looking to trade. within a few days, she received a phone call from jonathan. he gave her a loose estimate on our trade-in and let her know about some cars we might be interested in. i went in the next day. after chatting with jonathan, i took the three cars she was interested in (two bmw x3's and an audi a4) for a spin. after deciding on the audi (we are already audi drivers), i started talking numbers with the guys. would you believe that, upon inspection, they actually offered me more for my trade-in than what they quoted on the phone? unheard of! i was honest with them about our situation, and they were honest with me. we talked a lot on the phone over the following days after that first meeting. there was never any pressure. they were willing to work with our less-than-perfect credit, and after a couple days we are the proud new owners of an audi a4. throughout my 15 years or so of driving, i have bought 7 cars. of those 7 purchases, i can only say that 3 of them have been pleasant transactions, and one of them was from my grandfather. i've spent some time in the sales world and i can tell you that these folks operate under the same philosophy as i do: make a person happy, and you've gained a customer for life. thank you jonathan, trey, and vito at brian harris audi/porsche for such a great experience. i'll see you in a year or two to get myself a new q5. read more

High prices, uneven service, expensive repairs. For the same money go to Price LeBlanc Lexus. I own a Lexus, Audi, and BMW. The BMW never needs repairs (maintenance of course). The Lexus is solid and the dealer is real quality. The Audi breaks down and the dealer could care less about fixing it . . . and no one else in town is really interested in fixing Audi's. read more

This dealership must benefit from the limited numbers of sources for a Mini Cooper. Service was very friendly until the paperwork was signed, then evaporated. Multiple E-mailed questions to the salesman and general manager received no response. After driving 4.5 hrs to pick up our car, we had to point out to the salesman the obvious 3 inch scratch to the metal on the back hatch of our new Mini. The dealership tried to make this our problem rather than theirs. My experience with Brian Harris Audi of Baton Rouge has been twofold. First the buying experience was incredibly professional and done faster than any automobile purchase I have ever done. Their knowledge of the product outstanding. Their patience with my wife switching back and forth on the car she wanted was far, far better than mine. It was appreciated by both of us. The auto is now 8 months old and minutes ago my wife called from out of town saying a message told her to add 1 quart of oil and she had no clue of what kind to buy. I also had no clue since I have only driven the car once and had not read her owner's manual. My wife was nervous so I called Brian Harris at 5:30 PM and though service was closed they put me through to a salesman named Trey. He knew exactly what oil for my engine (a V-8). He told me to call my wife and tell her that one qt low was no issue and she could make the 100 miles to Baton Rouge without adding the oil if they did not have the full synthetic oil. Horrible experience today. Called yesterday and set up an appointment to look at a car today at 12:00. We get there only to find out the car has been sent to auction but it's possible for them to get it back. Car was sent to auction because it was sitting so long and I asked if they could do any better on price being they are sending it to auction. Once a car goes to auction they will not get anywhere close to what they are asking at the dealership. No movement in price but we asked the normal questions about condition, tires, etc and was assured everything was good. Waited about 5 hours for them to retrieve the car and it was in horrible condition and the tires were bald. One of the tires missing a piece of rubber on the sidewall. Asked if they would replace tires and they said they would but had to charge us $600. Ridiculous and very upset I wasted most of my day waiting on a lemon to show up. The only good that came out of this was waiting to do all the paperwork. They asked if I would finish all the buyers paperwork while waiting on the car and I said no which was obviously the right decision. read more

Love the new facility. Cafe is amazing and the staff is wonderful. The service department takes all your needs into consideration and will even loan you a vehicle to use while they repair your vehicle. We were shopping for an audi and wanted to give the locals our business but their sales team was very, well cocky. My wife test drove an A6 that she always wanted and when we sat down with the salesman to begin our negotiating. They told me Brian Harris doesn't need to sell cars so Brian Harris doesn't negotiate on the price much. If I want more negotiating power I would need to go to New Orleans. They also said the rebates that audi was giving was their discount. Well...it's not theirs it's Audi. Not a very good sells strategy. Me and my wife drove to New Orleans the next day and purchase our Audi A6 prestige for 1k above invoice and also gave us $1500 for the Audi new owner oquisition rebate. Which got our final sales price to be $500 below invoice. All this without going back and forth with the sales manager. We just test drove the car my wife liked and they just gave us a very good price before I can even give them an offer. What more can I ask for. Talk about no hassle car shopping. Bought our Q7Audi from there five years ago and satisfied with vehicle. Safe, reliable and great when have to travel. A few things we did not know about or find during our information search prior to purchase was the frequent replacement of tires/brakes per year. This is due to the vehicle weight etc. regardless of type of engine. Service department staff are friendly, professional and on occasion they offer small discounts. However, service and parts still pricey, which we knew prior to purchase would be the case. Wait time is not usually too long (they have small wait area with refreshments) or they recommend you leave the vehicle. However, in event service will take most of day or require overnight, and you need a loaner car, your service appointment can be delayed. The Audi division will be moving to another renovated location nearby in near future. read more

Worst service experience I have ever had the misfortune of enduring. They had my car for a month and a half and missed 3 different finish dates they promised me. Never received a single phone call or status update. Difficult to contact. Had to wait for parts 3 separate times because they kept missing things. I just bought an Audi from this place and my experience was great. I had gone in expecting the worst as I've never really had good experiences buying a car. But Brandon was awesome. He was friendly and not pushy in the least bit. It was more like two friends chatting about a car. I ended up getting a different car than the one I actually thought I wanted and I couldn't be happier. Brandon made all the difference in the world. I'm keeping his card handy for when my husband or any friends need a car. I was preapproved through my bank so I didn't use any of their financing but I did deal with Christina for the finalization of the paperwork. She was helpful and thorough. I would recommend getting a car here. And use Brandon! He even got us touch up paint for free and mailed it to us. That really impressed us - as my husband asked for it off the cuff as we walked out the door. I can't believe Brandon remembered (and I owe him an email thanking him). And for the hat!
