Went to Brian for a sever ankle sprain. I was playing basketball and I landed on someone's foot. It had been about 5 weeks since my injury and my ankle was nowhere near being back to normal. The crazy part of this story is that I actually met Brian 10 years ago playing basketball at 24 Hour Fitness! 10 years ago, I had the same exact ankle sprain, but on my right foot, and Brian saved my ankle back then too with his acupuncture technique. Back to this recent sprain. First, Brian asked what I did to hurt my ankle and which parts of my ankle/foot/leg was hurting. He then performed the cupping technique with magnets on my lower back, kneecap, behind my knee, ankle, bottom of my foot, the back of my head, even my belly button! EVERYTHING in the body is connected and when one part is injured, the whole body compensates for that injury and picks up the slack. After the cupping, I felt like my ankle was relieved, but it was still stiff. So, I asked Brian if he could do the old technique of using needles + cupping to get any bad blood (blood clots) out of my ankle. He did and there it was - chunky, discolored, bad blood. My ankle felt immediate relief. To top it off, Brian gave me an adjustment too. After 5 weeks, my ankle was barely at 45% back to normal prior to seeing Brian. Now it's around 85% with just one session. I would give 100 stars to Brian if I could. Definitely hit up Brian for all of your acupuncture/therapy/relief needs!

Dr. Brian Li has invested all of his love and passion for what he does! Dr. Li fulfilled his lifetime dream of coming to the U.S., becoming a doctor, and curing his patients' pain and sufferings through his continuous improvement methods! It works and I am a testimony of this result.

Brian hard at work! Truly amazing man!

Brian is truly amazing! Great for preventative care. If you are sick or just feel blah, Brian will help you to feel your best! He is very positive and full of energy so you take that great energy with you after every visit! I highly recommend Brian. I go weekly and feel amazing!

I highly recommend brian Li, if this review can give 10 stars, he deserves 11 stars for his service and enthusiasm. A motorcycle accident in 2002 hurt my body everywhere. For the past 10+ years, I have been constantly searching for pain relief and treatments. Recently, I met Brian through the introduction of my family. Brian is like a wellness coach. He explained mind, body, and soul need to be aligned as well as all the muscle groups & bones. and then he gave me the acupuncture treatment and the cupping treatment. After a course of treatment, my pain has been reduced by 80%, and I can finally sleep well at night without being awakened by pain. Although it is impossible to treat this kind of chronic injury pain in one course of treatment, I can feel that my long-term pain problem has begun to improve. I believe after a few sessions of treatment, I can definitely resume exercise without suffering from pain. If anyone has any kind of chronic joint pain or injury pain, I would definitely recommend Brian Li.

I have been treated by Brian on many occasions. Mainly from ankle sprains playing basketball or some kind of sport. He is a miracle worker! I've referred others for back problems, sinus, knee problems. And they have all received treatment and have been helped. My first encounter with him was due to an old ankle sprain. I had sprained my ankle 3 months prior to meeting Brian. My ankle was still very swollen and I was unable to play basketball due to the pain. A friend referred me to him and that same day I was playing basketball (although of course is not recommended). How I said he is a miracle worker. Any body part that needs fixing he is the guy for the job. Another plus is that he takes some insurances.

This is my sixth session with Kathy Spencer and I am still pleased with how my therapy is going. She explained how thing work especially with my injury. This was also my first time trying cupping, and I actually loved it. Unfortunately, they are unprofessional, poorly organized, and they apparently have zero respect for your time. I originally booked an appointment through the Ian's Calendly system. That appointment was later rescheduled at the last minute (less than 24 hours before the appointment) due to Ian's "Memorial Day weekend plans", despite the appointment being scheduled for the day *after* Memorial Day and appearing as available on his Calendly page. I accommodated the change and adjusted my schedule. The replacement appointment then failed as well. At 8:46 AM on the day of the re-scheduled appointment (scheduled for 12pm), Ian texted me that he was "currently at the airport" and that his flight "ended up being delayed just now." While flight delays happen, this meant my re-appointment had been scheduled on a day that depended on same-day air travel, seemingly just hours apart. What followed was the most frustrating part. Rather than proactively managing the situation, providing a clear update, or giving me a phone call, I was left in limbo until the last minute, trying to determine whether the appointment was actually going to happen. I ultimately had to reach out myself while reorganizing my workday once again around an appointment that never occurred. The result: two failed appointments, two last-minute schedule changes, and a bunch of wasted time. After expressing my frustration and explaining that I had rearranged my day around this appointment, I expected at least a phone call, a sincere apology, or some acknowledgment that the situation had been handled poorly. Instead, Ian's response to the situation was... absolutely nothing. No phone call. No meaningful apology. No ownership. No attempt to make things right. Communication was limited to brief text messages, primarily through an "assistant" named Caroline. To this point, I still do not know whether Caroline is an employee, a virtual assistant, or a scheduling service, because nobody from his business ever personally contacted me to discuss what happened. Given that Ian's team maintains a strict 24-hour cancellation / rescheduling policy, I figured they would understand the value of time. Unfortunately, it appears that they value their own time, but not yours or mine. Mistakes happen. Travel plans change. Flights get delayed. But customer time shouldn't be collateral damage to sloppy planning on the part of a service provider. The true measure of a business is how it responds when things go wrong. In my case, Ian's business failed to honor two scheduled appointments, failed to communicate effectively, and failed to take responsibility afterward. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend these guys.

Joshua was great and very professional throughout my treatment. Jocelyn is also very welcoming and always made the environment feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Today was my last session and it truly stood out. Veronica Matta from Western University, who is currently doing her clinical rotations, worked with me one on one and by far it was the best session I had. Her hands on approach was exactly what I needed. The massage she did on the muscle that was causing my numbness made a huge difference and was very much needed. She was fully present, focused only on me, and genuinely committed to my care. It made me feel really good ending my therapy on such a positive note. The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is due to the use of the TENS unit patches. I am not a germ phobic, but seeing the patches used on someone's foot and then placed on another patient made me feel uncomfortable. It has since been brought to my attention that when receiving physical therapy, each patient should have their own TENS unit patches to help avoid any contagious infections. Overall, I appreciate the care I received and would still recommend Movement Therapy, especially for the quality of the therapists and the personalized attention.
