I found JJ Construction through Yelp…read more I would highly recommend JJ Construction. They provided an honest quote. I actually went out and received 4 quotes. While JJ wasn't the lowest, they were the most comprehensive. For example, all of the other quotes quoted the shingles and work, but JJ Construction quoted shingles, tiles, gutters, and all hardware (new fans/vents/gutters). They are highly skilled. They did not rush the project (who wants a roofer who rushes?) and cleaned up every day. Communication was excellent. They installed Class 4 shingles, which lowered my home owners insurance by 20%. The work quality was top notch. I was highly impressed by JJ Construction and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Matt, for a great job.

They only use the OwensCorning Duration which is the only one I wanted because it's rated the best by Consumer Reports and many other reviewers. They have seasoned professional carpenters that showed up early and finished in one day. I can't recommend them enough. My wife and I are extremely grateful we found Jacek and Kacper on Yelp. Wonderful service, quality products at the best, fair, reasonable price.

The process was super smooth from start to finish. We met with Adam to discuss the project and he helped us collaborate a design that works perfect for our space. Their prices were extremely fair and the workmanship is top notch. He and his team are friendly and efficient. They finished the project in the specified time frame and left our rooftop looking like they were never there. I would definitely recommend them for any roofing or deck building needs.

Never again! In May 2025, I hired CRC to replace a detached garage roof. They were responsive and…read morecame out to quote the project, and I essentially went with a full replacement. My garage rooftop deck is finished with Trex decking so part of the agreement was to remove the decking and reinstall it - as is - post roof replacement. They came out on schedule and removed the Trex and replaced the floor boards where needed - per our agreement they were also suppose to replace the liner but they didn't. No big deal - they replaced half of it that was sitting over the damaged wooden floor boards. Once the roof was replaced, I pushed them to complete a water test - I basically brought a hose up there and ran water to see how it would drain. The drainage was ok not great as you could see small shallow pools of water. When asked, they said it how the roof pitch is setup - so fine we move on. Once the roof is done, they start to install the deck. About 80% of the way through, I happen to do a quick check and notice the deck is clicking. Apparently, they did not purchase enough Trex clips that secure the boards to the sub frame. So they agree to purchase more and install them. The right way to do this would be to remove the deck boards and start over but they removed a few boards and slid the clips in and drilled the screws down. Here is where it all went wrong. They screw heads started to chip and break the edges of the Trex decking. You think with the owner standing there he would have told them to stop but they kept going and ruined my Trex decking. Zero quality control or management from the owners who are there to push their crew to complete the job fast and move onto the next one. Not only did the ruin it, they installed the deck boards at an angle so the deck isn't even straight. They agreed to find a solution and come back to repair - and even took a small piece with them to match colors. Months go by and I keep hearing excuse after excuse. I sent multiple emails to the owner and exchanged texts (all of which I have in my records). All I received in return were promises to touch base and then once winter came, we decided to push the repairs to spring 2026. So May rolls around and I started corresponding with the owner (Adam) - who doesn't even care to respond but has his father (Richard) who is involved with the business return phone calls (have voicemails to back this up). He tells me that he will add me to his schdue on a Saturday / so Sat rolls around and I don't hear a word. I chase them and wait around all day. No show and no phone calls. I call them on the following Monday and ask them to fix this issue but no response. I sent them an email asking them to call to sort this out and no response. I would AVIOD them at all costs / they will damage your property and not resolve it. Seems like they will say anything to get the business. If you lucky enough where damage didn't occur then great. They also offer a warranty - given this experience, I don't expect them to honor it irrespective of I have it in a written document. Super disappointed. I was quite patient and understanding but they took advantage of my flexibility. Additionally, they will ask you to pay with Zelle / cash.

The Super Roofer team gave us a great evaluation of the our existing flat roof several months back…read more We had gone through several vendors and estimates for the roof work. I appreciate the straight forward and honest opinion by Super Roofer. They suggested on removing a layer or two of the existing material, and performing the full maintenance on the flat roof instead of a complete tear down of the roof. The roof tear down offered by other vendors proved to be not necessary for our situation and it would be more costly. Each roof needs to be reviewed by several vendors so you get an idea of what needs to be done. The team is doing a wonderful job of removing the uneven surfaces below the first and second layers where it was needed. There were areas that were warped before, and nearly all parts of the roof are now even. I appreciate the work they have done by making the rolled material to be very straight and flat to the ground. This looks easier than what most people think and it is not easy if you don't know what you are doing. There was quite a bit of work to replace the existing vents along with fixing the side walls of the roof. They have done a great job. I would recommend them to do work for your residential and commercial roofs.

If you're looking for a roofer - start with Tom's company Presidential Roofing…read more I found Presidential Roofing via Yelp and was definitely tops on my list for roofing companies due to the stupendous reviews. After having experienced the service and detail of this company - I'm completely convinced they are trustworthy, offer value and a good experience and should get a call for every roofing project. I've been considering a reroof for seven years as I knew my roof would need replacement along with skylights and gutters eventually, so I've read up about all there is about roofs and skylights and gutters. Tom arrived, and did a detailed assessment on top of the roof, and provided good feedback on my concerns. He noticed several things on his assessment and offered additional options on them including various ventilation ideas. I asked him about my siding as well - he thought my siding did not need replacement so we did not quote that out. He said that his crew would strictly be outside for the project and would not need to enter the home for any reason (even though we were doing an attic fan install, and skylight replacement). About 2 days later, I received a quote via email, and we chatted more about the details - particularly about my sky light replacements and the merits of different types of roof ventilation. Being my first quote, I thought the quote was definitely a good quote (verified later after four more quotes that I received - same shingles, harder sell job from others, and some did not even climb the roof at all). After all my quotes came in, I went with Presidential Roofing - scheduled for two weeks later Roof would take 2 days, Gutters half day. The week of the job - I received a note from Tom on the particular details of the week. Don't keep the car in the driveway or in garage, as they'll deliver and use the driveway for the materials/haul away for three days. Materials were lifted onto roof off a flat-bed truck crane Tuesday afternoon. Tom advised that the skylight replacement would create some interior dust/debris (so I used some painter cloth tarps/plastic covers taped to the ceiling). They left a small dumpster trailer (swept really clean btw) off to the side of the house (wooden planks so no tire treads in grass). Each day they would clean up around the home, and would do a magnet roller to catch any nails that would have fallen around the home. The project was done exactly on time as scheduled. They started at 7-7:30am - 6pm each day for the roof. The crew was great - they were friendly, detailed, and Tom called a few days later to ask about the roof. The final invoice arrived by mail the following week (no surprises - very close to the quote), when I had the payment ready - Tom dropped by to fetch.

Avoid at all costs…read more We paid TAR $16,000 for a full replacement of our flat roof and within a week were getting stains on our ceiling during rain when we had never had leaking before. We gave them 7 opportunities over the course of an entire year to come out and fix the issue and each time their "fix" made the leaks worse. They gaslighted us consistently saying the roof wasn't the problem and had us chasing down other issues like tuckpointing, plumbing, sliding door replacements etc and nothing helped. The damage eventually got so bad that we needed a restoration company to come open up the ceiling in 3 rooms. We finally hired a second company to do another full replacement and haven't had a single issue since then. TAR refused to take any accountability or refund us any money. All told we are out over $40,000 thanks to TAR.
