The food here is pretty bland. The quantity is good if you want to get filled up though. Quality- the omelette has no seasoning on it and the hash browns are pretty tasteless. I had to use hot sauce to give it some flavor. The smoked salmon is good and vegetables are fresh. There's nothing special about the pancakes. Quantity- I thought the salmon quantity was a bit lacking for 16 bucks. There is not enough salmon for the amount of vegetables they give. The omelette had a lot of vegetable toppings in it but not enough sausage. Atmosphere- nice open diner. Pretty clean. Service- fast service. Good waitress.

I'd been wanting to try this place for a long time. I wondered if it was a cheaper option for brunch. It is. It has obviously been around for a long time and I'm sure it has a devoted local following. The facility LOOKED run down. If they could spruce it up some I'm sure it would be a lot better. We were seated immediately and our server came over promptly. They have outside seating options as well. Adam had a Kids Grilled Cheese (big, Adam liked it). Tony had the biscuits and gravy (not a lot of sauce; Tony said they could dress it up to improve it). I had the Mile High Skillet. I was a little surprised that it wasn't combined with the hash browns as the base. Drink refills were regular and timely. Overall this is a solid option if you're not looking to spend $$.

We were at this restaurant a long time ago I think it was a different owner, we decided to come back again today because we were at Roselle fast and they kept talking about this restaurant so we figured we would give this place another try today. We see that they also serve Mexican food so we know this is not the same place we went to before. It could have also been a different name before. My husband ordered the butcher shop scrambler with hashbrowns and pancakes. He was really impressed with the flavor and freshness of his food. I ordered the Greek omelette with hashed browns and pancakes. The omelette was smaller than I am used too, but the Gyro meat, and the other toppings were very filling. As long as I leave full and impressed with the flavor of the food, I am happy! They even had sugar free syrup. The butter was also room temperature which I love because it is easy to spread on the pancakes. We will be back again for sure! Be sure to check out the specials board by the register.

Have driven by this restaurant many times and finally decided to stop by and check it out. Wish the portions were a little bigger but the food was very yummy and the service was great.

Green Chilaquiles with ribeye steak over hard egg

Looking for a delicious cozy breakfast place?? Look no further. Idk how I missed this gem but I am glad we came by. When I mean everything is a 5 in my opinion trust me. We had chilaquiles , skirt steak , Nutella crepes and a senior breakfast. Great portion, food was delicious and get customer service. I forgot her name but she was very attentive and sweet. What really stole my heart was little Pablo probably 5-6 years old helping out cleaning tables. Such a cuties reminds me of my childhood when I use to go to work with my dad. It's a family owned business and they are doing a marvelous job. Will definitely be returning

Meat lovers skillet with french toast

OUTSTANDING! The service was great...friendly, quick, and attentive. Generous portions coupled with very reasonable prices was just the beginning. The food was fresh and flavorful! The first time nobody had to reach for salt or pepper. The steak was tender, juicy, and well-seasoned; the chilaquiles was some of the best had anywhere. There must have been at least 2 or 3 pieces of bacon in the omelette. The skillet was filling. We could have eaten the pancakes and french toast without butter or syrup - they were that good. And the horchata was top notch. For those who criticized the decor, I say who cares?!? I recently went to a restaurant that looked nice but the prices were high for some of the portions and the taste was average to low average. We will be back very soon.

I love that there are unique Southern dishes like chicken and waffles, Southern fried chicken, and shrimp and grits. The coffee is hot, strong and accompanied by cute little baskets with individual creamers. The pancakes are super fluffy and served with a warm bottle of syrup. I am not a big fan of hot sauces as I don't eat spicy foods but had to dip a bite of chicken in the jalapeno hot sauce. It was really tasty and a tolerable amount of heat. I look forward to returning and trying even more versions of waffle or egg dishes here.

The frappe was also really good. My friend ordered the avocado toast, which she liked, but her caramel macchiato was off at first it tasted mostly like milk with a little caramel. They did fix it though, so I'll give them credit for that. Only downside was she ended up feeling like she got food poisoning afterward. The egg on her dish had a thin film on it, so we're thinking it might not have been fully cooked, which is concerning. Service itself was good and the staff was nice. Parking was also easy, which is always a plus. Good food overall, but that situation definitely threw things off a bit.

We headed here as we knew it was a small, local chain and had it on the "list" of places to try. When we walked in, harsh 5000k lighting greeted us. I'm not a fan; it causes "floaties" in my eyes. So frankly, that wasn't great. Briana's - a quick reminder that restaurants should be warm and inviting- using harsh, cold lighting does "not" count and was the reason for the sole demerit. We ordered food - i had a denver omelette with toast and crepes - and it was great, seriously. They featured the day I was there cream of broccoli soup served with a warm croissant & premium crackers. The patty melt was perfectly cooked and not a bit greasy. The french fries were hot & crispy and the come slaw added a nice touch to the plate! The Vegetable omelette had all fresh cut veggies and the hash browns were cooked perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. Nothing on the plate had a bit of oil or grease. Pancakes were a nice size and very fluffy. Served with warm syrup. Condiments for everything far exceed other breakfast places. I was seated pretty quickly and given a menu and ordered my standard unleaded coffee - decaf for those of you in the know. The ambience of the place was pretty good - very modern- very nice and it looked like it was very well-maintained. Always a good thing! To be honest? The only demerit was the waitress. Oh, she was good as a waitress, but she was not warm or welcoming - it seemed like she was just going through the motions, albeit professionally. It kind of makes a difference to me, you know? I decided to order a build your own omelette - I got turkey, sausage, turkey, bacon, and green peppers. In addition, I ordered a side of French toast and decided to try the hashbrowns because they look like they were housemade and not frozen. After a short bit of time, the food came out and oh my God! The portions were huge. I ate the French toast first but the only thing I noticed was the syrup was room temperature and not warmed up - not exactly a dealbreaker for me, but it would've pushed them over the top. The hashbrowns? Excellent! I put some hot sauce on the omelette and ate it all up - lickety split! So - would I come back? Probably. But I would hope for a different waitress is all. But I will say this - any breakfast joint that starts getting busy the very moment they open up at 7 AM on Sunday morning? Must be doing something right!

Ok, I was the first customer for the day (Yes, I wake up early!). I was seated, ordered a decaf coffee (sorry; had to go unleaded for health reasons, darn it). I reviewed the menu and - well - tried to find a comfy seating position on the upholstered booth table I was seated at. I'm sorry, but the springs on this thing had sprung, and there wasn't a comfy spot to be found. Ok. So there was that..... I liked the style of the place- but what in the world was with the 5,000 kelvin can lights in the ceiling? Folks, I want warm and comfy lighting - no more than 3500 Kelvin is what you had elsewhere in the restaurant. The 5,000 kelvin was just way, way too harsh. For shame. Pull out the "daylight" and put in a soft/warm kelvin bulb please! Hurts my eyes. Ok- the food. I ordered a 2-egg breakfast; subbed the hashies for rye toast, chose the sausage option, and upped the order to include two crepes with lingonberry sauce (always a sucker for lingonberry sauce, you know?). I was told the food would take a bit longer due to the crepes - didn't matter to me, really; couldn't be a huge delays could it? Naw, it wasn't. The food came out- ok, then! Let's check it out - the scrambled eggs and sausage were perfectly acceptable. The toast was not buttered (NO!) but was right outta the toaster- and man, that counted! As I started munchin' away, I noted the crepes seemed- well- a bit well done? Well, yeah. Like, on one crepe? The end of the crepe was hard and almost- but not quite- burnt. Yikes. I still ate it. It was relatively good, sure. But who over-cooks crepes? Can't say it was fantastic. Now, I don't have anything bad to say about the server- she was super nice and awesome! But fix up the seating/lights, please, as well as the crepes? You'll be in "5" territory in no time!
