As soon as you enter the business you are immediately greeted with a unique vibe. There are decorations all over the walls which makes sure you are never bored during the hair cut. Kay always washes my hair well and then walks me over to the chair. She cuts my bangs perfectly and trims my hair so that it's not too long but she gets rid of all the dead ends. I've recommended her to at least 4 of my male friends who also only see her to get their hair cut! I had a 10:00 AM appointment which i made 3 weeks ago.I received a last-minute text that morning…read moresaying my appointment was moved to a different location -- one that was farther away and inconvenient. I still made it there by 10:15 AM, and the moment I walked in, the receptionist told me to go straight to the wash. But as soon as I mentioned I had a Groupon, everything changed. Suddenly I was told they couldn't take me because I was "late." I tried explaining that the only reason I was late was because they changed the location on me with barely any notice, but they didn't care. Instead, I was met with attitude and zero professionalism. No apology, no effort to reschedule, just a rude dismissal. I ended up wasting over an hour of my morning driving back and forth for absolutely nothing. This is completely unacceptable. If you're going to change your location last minute, the least you can do is honor your appointments or have the decency to be respectful about it. Terrible customer service. I will never be returning, and I don't recommend anyone else does either -- especially if you're using a Groupon. You'll be treated like a second-class customer.

I'd never experienced something like this in my life. My hair became gummy and melted off into my hands. I spent days crying. My hair is so important to me and it was gone. Just like that. The salon did nothing to amend this (except ghost me lol) I didn't even get my money back. It's been almost a year now. I've worked so hard to grow some hair back but I'm traumatized for life. I will never forget what this salon did to me. The statute of limitations is a bit longer in New York, thank God for this. I have some time.
