Kay is one of the few people who I will actually trust to cut my hair correctly. I have gone to her 3 times now and she automatically became my go to hair dresser. As soon as you enter the business you are immediately greeted with a unique vibe. There are decorations all over the walls which makes sure you are never bored during the hair cut. Kay always washes my hair well and then walks me over to the chair. She cuts my bangs perfectly and trims my hair so that it's not too long but she gets rid of all the dead ends. I've recommended her to at least 4 of my male friends who also only see her to get their hair cut! I've been getting my hair cut and color with my own Japanese hairstylist for 6+ years in Port Washington. So I was a bit nervous but excited to find a Korean hairstylist here around my neighborhood. Kay took time to discuss with me the style and color I've shown her. She delivered the exact style and color I wanted. Although the length was shorter than I expected but it still turned out really nicely. I had received lots of compliments from my friends and the cut and the length actually made my hair fuller and thicker. Kay is also very energetic and friendly. I got my haircut here for the first time and can I tell you I'm used to sitting in a salon chair for hours and never get my hair done the way I want it no matter how much I communicate or show photos. I showed the hairstylist 1 photo and she knew exactly what I was talking about. I have THICK long hair and within an hour she was done. So lucky to find a korean salon in the area (not many people can properly cut thick asian hair). Wanted to try Korean see-through bangs and after seeing a picture to confirm we were talking about the same thing, she delivered! After the cut she explained how she cut the bangs to transition to the rest of my hair and how to style it. Even gave me a hair roller to curl my bangs in the morning without heat! (Which I now use everyday). My wash, cut and blow dry was $30. May be less for others because I also asked for bangs and have waist length hair. read more

I had really damaged hair from a past ombre balayage I got done about a year ago. My hair is naturally black and very, very fine, so the roots grew out into this very obvious half-and-half split between the brown balayage and my natural hair.
