    After Work Trivia
    Ele S.

Fun after work bar with cheap drinks and a great atmosphere. We came on a Friday which was music trivia night and it was a wonderful and loud experience. Everyone in the bar was extremely involved in the trivia and karaoke. The bar gave devil themed swag and gave over a handful of people prizes for the Trivia. Our waitress was extremely nice and every staff member we met added to the positive experience. The service was a little slow and sometimes hard to find our waitress, but that was most likely due to the fact of how busy everything was. The only concern I saw while there was that my friend received their drink and the glass rim was chipped (missing a big piece) pretty noticeably, luckily someone else in our group caught it right away. Our waitress was really nice and apologetic about it and quickly had the drink re-made. That experience did make me a little wary and I made sure to check every glass I received for the rest of the night because of it. There were no additional issues.

    Jalapeño Popper Burger with Fries

My daughter recommended this spot. A nice casual spot with plenty of TVs, a couple of pool tables and great bar seating. Greeted by our bartender/server. She was nice, friendly and attentive. We ordered a pitcher of Blue Moon. I love that they included a few orange slices. We ordered the rosemary French fries and their artichoke in spinach dip with tortilla chips. I enjoyed the rosemary french fries, I really didn't care much for the artichoke and spinach dip. It was more of a textural thing for me. We ordered a jalapeño popper burger, and it came with french fries. The jalapeño burger was really good. The burger was perfectly cooked, the jalapeños added just the perfect amount of heat. The bun was toasted and buttered. A nice touch. I would be interested to go back again and try something else. It seemed like it was a true locals' bar.

    Pineapple soft serve margaritas

My girlfriend and I had been hearing about how this place had soft serve margaritas, which sounded awesome on a hot summer day like last Saturday, so we decided to meet here since it's between both our places. We stopped in after I got off work, and sat at the bar & got the pineapple soft serve margs, which the bartender lady had told us were $5 each. We thought that was a good deal so we ordered a second round. We also put in a food order for some of their wings, which I've been hearing raving reviews about. I ordered 6 of their Whitney wings and she ordered the Garlic parm wings. Hers were a bit salty for my liking but they weren't bad. The Whitney wings, on the other hand, were incredible! The char on them was great but not substantial, and the flavor from the sauce had my mouth watering. These wings were pretty easy for me to break apart and tear the bones out before dunking the chicken hide into my ranch cup, and I devoured them so quickly. We were very satisfied with the food and the bar was very extensive and had a rather large selection of liquor to choose from. Plenty of beer and seltzers for those looking for that sort of thing as well. Would come back here for the wings again and the soft serve, my only real complaint stems from the bill coming out, which revealed the soft serve margaritas to be $32 for the 4 we ordered, which were $8 a piece, over a $10 different than what it would've been had the bartender not lied to us about the pricing of the singular item. Not sure if she was mistaken or if she had blatantly told us a cheaper price so as to keep us buying more of them, but it threw me off a bit for sure. Regardless it was very good and I'm sure we'll be back, but that's what's holding me back from giving this place 5 stars, unfortunately.

    Chips and queso

Stopped by recently and was impressed by the chill atmosphere and solid lineup of bar food. Nothing too fussy, just really good flavors that hit the spot. The Aperol Spritz was crisp and refreshing--the kind of sip that feels like you're on vacation even if you're just across town. Food-wise: - Onion Rings were golden and crunchy, no soggy bites here. - The Crispy Chicken Wrap had great texture and balance--not overly heavy, and wrapped up with just enough bite. - And the Poblano & Hatch White Cheddar Queso? Bold, creamy, and a little addictive. Definitely one of those dips you keep going back to. Overall, it's a spot that blends comfort food with a modern twist. Would absolutely go back for another round--maybe mix it up with a new cocktail next time.

This neighborhood bar and grill is great. Friendly staff with great food and drinks. Not too loud of a crowd. There are a couple of pool tables inside that I'm going to have take advantage of on my next visit. My sister and I wanted something good and quick to eat but nothing from a fast food restaurant. We were on the way home from catching a movie and decided to stop here. We sat at the bar and had a nice experience. Our bartender was really cool. She made some good drinks and was tending to us and everyone else like a champ. The queso and cheese and Buffalo Chicken wrap with onion rings hit the spot for what we were craving. The Nacho chips were so fresh and crispy. I loved the queso. Definitely better than what I had earlier at the movie theater. I love love love onion rings and thoroughly enjoyed the big rings that were cooked to order. The Buffalo Chicken wrap could have used more chicken, but was good.

I really enjoyed the vibe this place had. The decor, pool tables, darts. And the soft serve margaritas of course! The buckets were such a great price and the wings are delicious.

Whitney wings and garlic parm fries

This place was amazing! We had the Whitney wings and they were so good, ask for them grilled! The garlic fries were great also. The drinks are affordable and they know how to make a jack and coke taste like jack and then coke. Love it here, come by. Can't wait to go again!

Heard about Brick & Barley being an old time bar that locals love coming in for the "kahoot"-esque game nights and karaoke sessions, so I had to stop in and give it a shot! Definitely a place for older and casual crowds, you'll like the spot if you want loud, fun, and bustling atmosphere. For the food itself, the "Whitney" wings are a must get for the tangy seasoning combination along side savory flavor of the grill on the chicken. 100% no doubt in my mind, wings are the necessary order here no matter what you like. I also tried out the Chipotle Chicken salad, it was decent but I didn't like the sauce. Chicken was an okay portion but the breading had less flavor than what I prefer (still alright just preference). Next time I stop in, I want to try the mango habenero wings. Looking forward to coming in on a less busy night just because that's my fancy, but it was cool to witness the games go down where they do have prizes like raffles/gift cards. Overall, cool bar spot to bring some homies.

Went through Uber Eats and ordered 2 burgers with French fries. Both burgers were raw and uneatable. Completely disappointed !

Review 1: Eureka! - Tempe, AZ (Lunch Visit)…read more Stepping into Eureka! for a weekday lunch, I found the restaurant nearly empty, with perhaps three tables occupied. My server, likely named Natasha, was immediately warm and personable, which set a good tone. I ordered the fish tacos, roasted Brussels sprouts, and charred green beans. The dishes arrived in about 13 minutes--a reasonable turnaround--but I was surprised that the tortillas were cold, and the green beans were only lukewarm. The portion sizes are modest, which actually works well for solo dining since there's no pressure to share. While my server was excellent, the overall front-of-house experience had some rough edges. Walking in through the patio, I encountered a host stand blocking a door--odd given that the restaurant has a more attractive main entrance on the opposite side. Staff were sometimes gathered near the front while guests waited, and at one point, employees were eating at the bar top rather than in a back area, which felt unprofessional for an otherwise stylish space. Eureka! has potential, and the food has bright spots, but details like presentation temperature and guest perception of staff behavior are where the experience falters.
