I also needed the width of the gate widened because originally they made the opening too narrow, so they were able to widen the opening before the rest of the fence was installed. I appreciate them checking with me halfway through the project. A few weeks ago one of the posts was failing I put in a warranty claim. They came out quickly and replaced it. In the end, we decided to move forward with Cool Cat and had a pretty decent experience with them. Yes, they're a bit more pricey than some others but we felt like overall the quality seemed better. The communication was a little spotty in the sense of being bounced around from project managers throughout the process. I don't believe the PM we were speaking with was there during fence installation. I'm thankful that they were pretty responsive with us when we had questions. In the end they did a great job and were happy with the fence. They worked quickly and efficiently and didn't leave a mess thankfully. The other companies offered a range of prices for lower-quality fences, while Sky Fence provided a single quote with the highest standards at a competitive price. Using a few sketches we provided, Sky Fence built a beautiful fence that matched our requirements perfectly. Jacob and his team did an amazing job, even installing the fence on top of a concrete wall. Communication throughout the process was smooth, and I couldn't be happier with the work they delivered. Finding skilled people in Seattle is hard, but occasionally you find some amazing people. My only complaint is about the contract. It was hard to read, lacked detail, included stock photos that didn't match our design, and had no itemization--just a final price. It felt like signing a promise to build what we asked for, thereby taking a leap of faith, which made me a bit uneasy. We had called up 5 companies and all got different bids. Jay was able to match the price we had and give us a few arborvitae to get us to choose his company. His team was very respectful and worked efficiently; the quality of work they did was really great. The work we got done was not small either but they finished in very realistic and quick timeline. Excavation, retention wall, paver patio, stairs, turf, and gravel were done by their team and they even leveled the gravel so I could place my raised garden bed on it.
