When I opened the door he told me about the shingles I have and some issues with them from the years around when I had them installed. He helped me contact the manufacturer and I was able to get help with the warranty. Roof still needed to be replaced so Star did an excellent job about a week ago. The Team Leader Jim was very polite and professional. He explained to me what they are going to do and when they will be doing it. Kris didn't have to say anything about my old shingles or help me with a warranty claim but he did. I have since referred Star to 3 people. This is such a customer-centric and honest business. Jim and his crew spent a Saturday removing all of our dead and unwanted plants and lawn (including tackling the enormous weed life that managed to find their way into our retaining walls), a few tree stumps, rejuvenating and re-sodding the lawn and flower beds, removing old pavers, laying down gravel, and overall, cleaning up the mess left behind from tenants past and or own construction endeavors. The end result is a yard I barely recognize in all the best ways: clean and low maintenance. My fiancé are so excited to start planting next spring since Jim and his crew set us up for success. Further, I want to give Jim an extra shout out for being a stand up guy and having a wicked sense of humor.
