For a "chop cheese" this sandwich was pretty cheeseless. The cheese is supposed to be integrated and cooked in with the meat. However the meat was very dry and I didn't taste cheese in the sandwhich. I also got the Cajun flavor and again, didn't taste anything Cajun or spice. The sandwich was also $16 so extremely over priced. They didn't have many sauce options and all you had to pay for. I ended up getting the mayo ketchup mix which was $2. Again, over priced. The added sweet potato fries was only $2 so that was nice and almost made up for the crazy priced sauce. The wait for our food was also very long. I waited 45 min. and others in my group almost an hour. We were there for a World Cup so there was a lot of people so I'd give more grace on the long wait. But the food overall was just not good. People in my group got the empanadas and those were very dry too and they didn't finish them. read more

This was my first experience at A La Cart and trying Brick and Butter. The ambiance was nice. It's colorful and plenty of seating. I was excited to try Brick and Butter. The descriptions and pictures of the sandwiches looked delectable. The man serving us wasn't rude. He just wasn't personable. You order from the iPad and wait for your food to be ready. He said they didn't have any ketchup and I had a side order of curly fries that I wanted to eat the ketchup with. He said that there were sauces that we could get. Each of those sauces costs $2.00. I didn't want to pay that after I just paid for this meal. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich. The sandwich and fries were really good. The chicken was tender. I enjoyed it, until I didn't. Unfortunately, the food left me feeling extremely sick. This is why I rated 1 star. read more

Tried out this food truck at À La Cart Orlando downtown for the first time and I'm glad I did. They've got a some great options, but I went with the Philly cheesesteak. The flavor and seasoning was on point. I do wish it had more cheese, but overall it was still a solid Philly. Definitely coming back. read more

We came here while at A La Carte and my husband got the Cuban. The wait is long, and could be expedited. He did not really enjoy the sandwich and said he's had better. The ambiance at A La Carte is typically comfortable, noisy and warm but had nothing to do with Brick & Butter. I prefer their BnB parm. read more

I ordered the cheesesteak forge for my husband, the chicken pesto on focaccia bread for myself, and the kids Mac and cheese. This was a to-go order, and it was made pretty quickly! This is definitely a great food truck to go to! As they are currently in thier soft opening stage, some items were not available. Yet their crispy chicken sandwhich is too good! Perfectly cooked to a crunchy breaded layer and juicy chicken. The chicken portion was actually bigger than I expected. The slaw and sauce ties together very well. I also had their sweet potato fries and I never had any that was truly seasoned like that! I will definitely comeback as I really want to try their mac cheesesteak! read more

My husband came for Yelp Elite Week, but myself, along with my sister and her boyfriend, tagged along to order food and try out what looks like an extremely impressive menu. The area that the food truck is in is so nice! Love that there are seating options both in and out of the sun outside, and inside by the drink area, you could sit entirely covered as well, still having a nice view of the food truck park. You order at an online kiosk kind of similar to an iPad, and it's a pretty easy process to get everything added and paid for! I loved that you could sign up for texts when your food was ready, so you could sit or walk around while you're waiting. The three of us ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich, and it comes on this beautiful focaccia bread, with a great pesto and sauce. The sandwich is pretty big, I almost wish we'd split 2 between the 3 of us instead of one for each! Ok look, July days in Orlando can be hot hot hot , but with some shade, a cool beverage, nice vibes, and the juicy delicious cheesesteak from Brick & Butter, we were doing well! Brick & Butter have a diverse menu for such a food truck with high quality items that keep me wanting to come back. They have a nice touch screen to order from and the staff is available to answer questions. I will admit that some of the items can be pricey, however it's not without its quality. I'll be back to try the Friday cheesesteak special that includes truffles! Quick shout out to A la Carte for such a nice venue in the hourglass district! I went to try the new breakfast and did not disappoint! The breakfast sandwich with rosemary focaccia, fried egg, cheese and lots of bacon was amazing! The textures were perfect and everything was cooked perfectly! And the potato's were also spot and on! It's a lot of food too! I checked out this food truck not too long ago and it did not disappoint. I ordered the b&b chicken parm sandwich with sweet potato fries and it came out super hot and ready to eat. The chicken parm was perfectly crispy and had a good cheese pull haha! The focaccia was also very tasty and pillowy. After speaking with the owner, I could tell he truly cared about every element on the menu. They bake all their bread and prepare their ingredients every morning, ensuring freshness as a top priority. They also put a lot of care into crafting their menu as well. I love to see people be passionate about what they're serving to the community. When I'm back around this part of town, I will for sure stop by at brick and butter! read more

I didn't even get the chance to order since this truck uses a screen to place orders. I was waiting with another person for any assistance but the woman in the truck did not even look at us the entire time. once we asked for help, she seemed bothered and barely said a word. i went ahead and chose another food truck to try. i don't see myself trying this truck at any point. Asked for no ketchup on the sub and didn't come with any mayo, didn't provide any clarification if it was a blend or not. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive one of the sauces I paid for. I understand they are homemade but it is a 1.5 oz container... My biggest disappointment, though, was the chips. It may sound minor, but when a meal is priced and advertised as a complete meal, you'd expect a reasonable portion. The "side" of chips was literally about seven whole chips' worth, mostly crushed into pieces. It was especially disappointing when compared to the portion of fries. Overall, the food has a lot of potential, and the staff was fantastic, but the incorrect order, extra sauce charges, missing sauce, and tiny chip portion really took away from the experience. My advice: upgrade the chips so you actually get a side, double-check your order before you leave (even if there's no one else in there) , and be aware that the sauces cost extra.

I will be going there after every Saturday hike forever more. The lists did not lie. Stasio's delivered the best sandwiches I have had in Florida. Walking in, I must have looked confused because I heard a knowing voice ask if it was my first time in. I admitted that it was and a delightful employee walked over to me to show me around. Stasio's has a deli counter, a coffee counter, and several shelves with Italian foods. I quickly learned that sandwiches are ordered at the deli and brought out to the waiting area when ready. Coffee is ordered at a cash register and the coffee is poured or prepared after purchase. Any prepared foods, together with sandwiches and fresh bread, are paid for at one of two registers. Despite the crowd -- and it was crazy busy -- everything was remarkably efficient and the staff showed no sign of stress. I ordered an Egg and Pepper sandwich and a Caprese Sandwich. Bread is made onsite and it was as fresh and delicious. (I ordered a loaf of Semolina/Italian bread and brought it home, where it was eaten within a few hours. At $4.99 for a loaf, it is an amazing value and a great treat!). Both the egg and pepper and the Caprese were prepared simply and to perfection. Fresh ingredients pack a lot of flavor and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Amazingly, I don't think Stasio's adds any fats to their sandwiches -- The egg in the egg and pepper, and the mozzarella in the Caprese do all the work. There are seats at a bar along the front window and a few tables outside, but I chose to eat in my car. At a peak time (like Noon on a Saturday), there was not a lot of available seating but it did seem that chairs opened up fairly quickly. After a 10 mile hike, I just did not think it was fair to anyone who might be seated next to me to have to sit next to me! No photos but others have shared enough that you can picture the experience!

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic meal from Brick & Butter, featuring their Chicken Parmesan Sandwich and a side of sweet potato fries. The menu ordering was incredibly easy, done via a self-service kiosk that made the ordering process smooth and convenient. The chicken cutlet was perfectly crispy on the outside, while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. The focaccia bread was soft yet nicely toasted. Every bite was packed with flavor from the pesto and marinara pairing wonderfully with the crispy chicken. As for the sweet potato fries, they were an absolute treat--crispy on the outside with just the right amount of sweetness, fried to perfection. The customer service was excellent throughout. I had such a great time at this spot! The area is incredibly well maintained, creating a welcoming, fun and enjoyable atmosphere. I tried the Philly cheesesteak from the Brick & Butter food trucks, and it was absolutely delicious, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. I think more Orlando influencers need to just be honest about what is good and what isn't good, rather than trying to sign everything expensive and trendy as such. Also I think when promoting things, people should practice discernment and ethics. I went there during my lunch hour and even walked there. I love it when cities are made to be walkable. It was a bit too hot, but city girl do what she gotta. I met a friend for lunch there. It's inside of a bank building. The staff was nice and it is an order and sit down situation where they bring it to you after you order. I got the honey lavender corn muffin and the Pig-Wich. First, the honey lavender corn muffin was insanely delicious. I still think about it. It's a nice dense and thick muffin that has a whipped corn honey lavender muffin. The sweetness of the topping and the crumb texture of the muffin made for a very nice bite. My rating is a 10/10 for this muffin. It cost $4. The sandwich is a breakfast sandwich with duroc bacon, egg that they'll make how you want it, cheddar, spinach, tomato, and garlic aioli on a brioche bun. I requested scrambled, just because as much as I like a sunny side up egg, it does make eating messy. This sandwich was a 9/10. It was delicious, well made, and easy hand held. Best part, it only cost me $10. Overall, I would rate them as a 9/10. I think what I got was great but there are other items that are a little pricey. However, if you're a downtown Orlando person and you work or live here. I highly recommend.

I did walk…read morein close to closing, (unbeknownst to me at the time, they close at 3) so that might have played a part in the lack of friendliness. A side note that I very rarely mention, the bathroom was less than pleasant. It is outside of the restaurant like an old-school gas station. It smelled bad and had no ac so it was the same temperature as the outside (which was 98°). The tater tots were the same as what you would get from the frozen food section of your grocery store. The beef sandwich was on a cheap bun that was somewhat mushed. The beef lacked flavor and any seasoning Ang their horse radish sauce had no real taste of horseradish to speak of.

The service was on point and very friendly. Our only complaint was the tables were super dirty. I mean all of them. We like booths so we went straight to them and all had food all over. At opening? Every booth filthy? I mentioned it to the guy coming around to wipe them and didn't seem too concerned. Even after he wiped the tabletops he was not touching the seating with old food clearly left there. Not impressed the cleanliness of the dining area. Honestly disgusting. It's a shame because the food and service were 5 stars. Dining area at opening? 0 stars. Level of concern from employee was zero. Perhaps we'll be back for take out or something but old food all over the tables at opening is not acceptable. Only deducting 2 stars because food and service was on point despite the dirty dining area.
