We decided to try Bricks & Butter in Orlando and had a very nice experience. Bricks & Butter is one of about eight food trucks that line the outside of a large central seating area. It was easy to find, and there was a good amount of parking available when we visited. The seating area has tables, some shaded areas, and a nice grassy area in the middle. There is no air conditioning, so keep that in mind on a hot Florida day, although there was a decent amount of shade. There are also two permanent drink stations at opposite ends of the seating area, with one offering coffee and other drinks and the other serving alcoholic beverages. Bricks & Butter specializes in signature sandwiches, and you order using a screen located at the window of the food truck. After placing your order, you enter your name and phone number so they can let you know when it is ready. We ordered the steak sandwich and the Chicken Parm sandwich, one with sweet potato fries and the other with regular curly fries. Our order took about 10-15 minutes to come out. Both sandwiches were large, and the fries were served separately on foam plates. Everything was very good, although our favorites were definitely the Chicken Parm sandwich and the sweet potato fries. If you want ketchup or other condiments, make sure to ask for them because they were not automatically included with our order. The total for all of our food was about $45, which I thought was reasonable considering the size and quality of the sandwiches and fries. Overall, this was a nice four-star experience with great food, pleasant staff, and a unique atmosphere. It is also nice having several other food trucks around the same seating area if everyone in your group doesn't want the same type of food. I would definitely recommend giving Bricks & Butter a try if you are in the area. Enjoy!

Tried out this food truck at À La Cart Orlando downtown for the first time and I'm glad I did. They've got a some great options, but I went with the Philly cheesesteak. The flavor and seasoning was on point. I do wish it had more cheese, but overall it was still a solid Philly. Definitely coming back.

Looks amazing and a hearty portion but the steak was dry. Probably best bang for your buck around here tho

We came here while at A La Carte and my husband got the Cuban. The wait is long, and could be expedited. He did not really enjoy the sandwich and said he's had better. The ambiance at A La Carte is typically comfortable, noisy and warm but had nothing to do with Brick & Butter. I prefer their BnB parm.

B&B Chicken Parm is a must try!! It tasted as it sounded, very delicious. Great balance of all flavors&sauces. It wasn't a long wait and most importantly FRESH!!! It was also a vibe outside under the pavilion (shaded area) with chill music playing and the wind blowing. A relaxing atmosphere for family or friends.

I ordered the cheesesteak forge for my husband, the chicken pesto on focaccia bread for myself, and the kids Mac and cheese. This was a to-go order, and it was made pretty quickly! Everything we had was so flavorful. Honestly the best sandwiches I've had since moving to Florida! The kids loved the Mac and cheese! There are no pics since we ate every bite! Lol. We will definitely be back! Love the ambiance of A La Cart SoDo!

This is definitely a great food truck to go to! As they are currently in thier soft opening stage, some items were not available. Yet their crispy chicken sandwhich is too good! Perfectly cooked to a crunchy breaded layer and juicy chicken. The chicken portion was actually bigger than I expected. The slaw and sauce ties together very well. I also had their sweet potato fries and I never had any that was truly seasoned like that! I will definitely comeback as I really want to try their mac cheesesteak!

Flavor: rich and goood. bread and fries were on-point. the mixture of meat and stuff inside the sandwhich was really good. Service: counter-service truck; friendly! Location & Parking: inside A La Cart SODO food truck area. Kinda hard to find parking in the area if the parking lot is full (and it most likely will be on weekends) Price: ~$22 for a sandwhich is pricey, but its big and really tasty. Is it whats up? yep, would go again if in the area.

My husband came for Yelp Elite Week, but myself, along with my sister and her boyfriend, tagged along to order food and try out what looks like an extremely impressive menu. The area that the food truck is in is so nice! Love that there are seating options both in and out of the sun outside, and inside by the drink area, you could sit entirely covered as well, still having a nice view of the food truck park. You order at an online kiosk kind of similar to an iPad, and it's a pretty easy process to get everything added and paid for! I loved that you could sign up for texts when your food was ready, so you could sit or walk around while you're waiting. The three of us ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich, and it comes on this beautiful focaccia bread, with a great pesto and sauce. The sandwich is pretty big, I almost wish we'd split 2 between the 3 of us instead of one for each! They were already sold out of a decent amount of their menu items, so I'm looking forward to coming back and trying new options. I did have a bite of my husband's regular Philly Cheesesteak, and that was to DIE for!!!

Chicken Parm Sandwich with Curly Fries

The chicken parmesan sandwich was hot, fresh, and clearly made to order, with a large portion size and curly fries on the side. The main downside was that the chicken's coating didn't stick well and separated while eating, which took away from an otherwise good sandwich. Ordering through the kiosk was quick and easy, and there was only brief interaction with staff. The wait was a bit longer, but it made sense given the made‑to‑order approach. The location has a unique, enjoyable vibe with plenty of seating. Parking could get tight during busy times, but visiting on a Sunday around noon, there were still a few open spots. There is also a water refill station on premise which was much appreciated!

Bread was perfectly airy and a little crispy, the fried egg was perfect, great cheese pull and tons of bacon.

I went to try the new breakfast and did not disappoint! The breakfast sandwich with rosemary focaccia, fried egg, cheese and lots of bacon was amazing! The textures were perfect and everything was cooked perfectly! And the potato's were also spot and on! It's a lot of food too! Service was quick and easy and I love the laid back atmosphere of A La Carte!

I checked out this food truck not too long ago and it did not disappoint. I ordered the b&b chicken parm sandwich with sweet potato fries and it came out super hot and ready to eat. The chicken parm was perfectly crispy and had a good cheese pull haha! The focaccia was also very tasty and pillowy. After speaking with the owner, I could tell he truly cared about every element on the menu. They bake all their bread and prepare their ingredients every morning, ensuring freshness as a top priority. They also put a lot of care into crafting their menu as well. I love to see people be passionate about what they're serving to the community. When I'm back around this part of town, I will for sure stop by at brick and butter!

    So good...

Nothing was terrible, but nothing had me thinking, "Wow, I need to come back here for this." The mimosas, however, were doing their job quite nicely. Then again, once you've had enough mimosas, does the food really matter that much? At that point, it's all about the conversation, the laughs and the people you're sitting around the table with. If you're planning to come here, I definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We had to wait for our table, so it's better to plan ahead. As far as the food, I ordered something that was okay, but honestly, it didn't really blow my mind. The people I was with ordered the chicken sandwich and tomato soup, and they really enjoyed those. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest issue during our visit. I would give the service 2 stars out of 5. It took a very long time for our waitress to come over and take our order. There were also several issues with the drinks. She brought mine but forgot the rest of the party. Later, she brought one more and then forgot another one. She seemed to be all over the place, and eventually we had to ask someone else for one of my kids' drinks. When she finally came back, she explained that they were out of some of the items we had ordered, so one person in our party couldn't get what they originally wanted. After we placed the new order, it also took quite some time for the food to come out. We were there around lunchtime, so I was surprised that the service was moving so slowly. One thing to know is that they currently only have one menu for brunch and dinner which would be helpful for checking the options ahead of time. On the bright side, they do have happy hour, which is always a plus. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere and the location, but the service definitely needs some improvement. This location is right on Park Avenue in Winter Park, so it's a nice area to visit and walk around afterward.
