Great staff, fresh food, great selection of sandwiches, salads and desserts. The marble rye is amazing. The tomato basil soup was a little spicy for me but it was non dairy and had lots of flavor. The door was open so we just walked in, and the wonderful lady who came in from the back took our order and made our sandwiches to go! Nice clean place, staff is friendly. I got the Tally sandwich which had pastrami, thousand island, swiss, and sauerkraut on marble rye and it was really good. The bread was soft the meat was good. Decided to check this place out and wasn't disappointed. I had the Italian on Marble Rye and a cup of Tomato Basil soup. All was very delicious! My daughter had the Oinker on hoggie and loved it. Beautiful place. Looked inviting and clean. Service was good. Was given a pastry to try but was only able to take a taste of it since I was so full. It had a light sweet taste to it. Love brickhouse when I'm looking for something to eat in the valley. It's always busy. Their sandwiches are huge and always packed! The last few times I've been in, the owner has passed out warm, fresh baked cookies, and chatted with the many tables of customers like he's known us for ages. Fun little place next to a cute gift shop off the main drag in Imperial. Not much for vegetarians and nothing for vegans. It would be nice to offer the avocado toast at a reduced price without bacon for vegetarians. Food was a bit slow but we were part of a large crowd all at once; might be faster individually. Waffles were good, fruit toppings were fresh, so says hubby. I had perfectly cooked (not salty) oatmeal with raisins and walnuts, but there's plenty of other choices. They offer salads too so I will have to try one on our way through next time. read more

Great customer service! Fast and efficient! The owners make time for the customers and are very friendly. They pass out cookies to customers and if you didn't get one you can ask for one and they will make sure you get one before you leave. The prices are very reasonable for the amount you receive on your plate and the food is high quality. Overall best sandwiches in town better than subway! read more

First time here and this place felt like home the owner "Papa T" was the sweetest old man you'll ever meet he made sure we were well taken care of along with the rest of the staff . A welcome new addition to the Imperial Valley, brick house offers fresh sandwiches in a cozy and cool little shop. I went there with a coworker and ordered the chicken salad sandwich. Portions were generous, vegetables were fresh, and the chicken salad itself was creamy with plump chunks of white meat. Bread was just okay, being only sliced wheat bread. Baked goods were sampled. Chocolate chip cookies were good as were the other fresh treats. Service was friendly and prompt. I'm not in the area often. I love the coffees there, but I Previously asked if the frozen blends had caffeine and was told yes, I always order my white chocolate raspberry with an added shot of espresso as I need all the Caffeine I can get. I asked again as my drink came out looking completely different this 1 time I did not ask for the shot of espresso and I was told there is indeed no caffeine in them unless I ask for the shot of espresso. I love this place either way, I always take my dogs with me and cashiers always have been kind and offered us a pup cup of whipped cream. The service there is always really good, honestly why i probably continue coming here after finding out I was just consuming empty calories. I've only had their bagels and they are to die for. The portion is worth the price, although I probably wouldnt recommend a whole bagel for a single person . The caprese bagel is the best bagel I have ever tried in my life but could not finish it all. I did save the other half unfortunately it just wasnt as good the following day, but who know try it and you just might not be able to resist. read more

The food is amazing and fresh. The price is a little high. I paid $12 for a cobb salad but it was amazingly good. The owner walks around with with free freshly baked cookies. I had been wanting to try this place 4-ever and I finally made it in a couple weeks ago with some friends from work, we all loved it! We are going back again tomorrow. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I should've known Jordan would open a sandwich shop when I took my car to him a couple years ago for an estimate and we ended up talking about food (I'm Cory's mom, Jordan). If you're lucky enough to be in there when his dad, Jerry is there you just might score yourself some fantastic chocolate chip cookies. My co-workers pretended they didn't want any and then took mine! I have known his mom Susan since I was a child, you couldn't ask for a nicer family.
