This place is at the end of the aquarium and upstairs from the gift shop. It's a quick, kid-friendly food place with little healthy or adult options. They only offer Mac n cheese, chicken tenders and cold croissant sandwiches and salad, yogurt and chips. The Mac n cheese portion was tiny for $14. read more

OJC concludes the Sealife Aquarium. It's a small cafe with moderately priced food/drink items. The mac and cheese was recommended by the guest service staff, so we decided to try the M&C with bread crumbs ($6.75) and the 3 sliders ($7.65). The cafe has outdoor and indoor seating. There are high tables and regular tables available along with an aquarium and play areas for the kids. It's a nice way to complete a nice stroll thru Sealife. The M&C was definitely fulfilling and the 3 sliders sufficed our appetites. The only suggestion for the sliders is to include french fries or rings. You can't have burgers by itself!!! I was def craving it after eating one slider. Because sliders are small, it shouldn't take long to prepare. The food is cooked to order. I felt the sliders were a bit overdone (I like med rare) and kept on the grill longer then it should have. Overall, they didn't have much offerings, but just enough for a quick bite/snack. Nice sandwiches! Ask for toasted (hot pressed) cuz it tasted good. Good options on the kids menu. I like that kids get raisins and a juice pouch along with a bag of chips and the main item of their choice. Another good thing that I like: there's a recycle program that when kids take their empty juice pouches back to the cashier, they get small prizes. Jut a few downsides: it is located deep in the aquarium so you have to walk all the way in (about 10 minutes from the entrance without stopping). And on our first visit here, it's kinda unclear what choices we have on the menu. We saw the sliders menu too late after we ordered sandwiches otherwise we might order a serving of sliders. Food is good but pricey as it is an amusement park. Sandwiches are freshly made providing a somewhat healthier option than other locations in the park. The sliders and Mac N Cheese are ok. Love the self serve Coke machine with all the options. Note, some people find it a little complicated to operate the first time. It being Lego Land, they have lego for the kids to play with. A good day option is the park in the morning, the aquarium mid day, here for lunch, then back to the park. Place is not very crowded and air conditioned so it provides a nice place to break for the day. read more

Ocean Journey Cafe is the end stop of SeaLife Aquarium at Legoland. Once you finish your tour of the aquarium, the exit leads you to the Ocean Journey Cafe where, for amusement park standards, the food is priced quite reasonably and offered at a surprisingly good quality. There is a freshly made macaroni bar, a sliders bar, a grilled sandwich stall, a freshly made salads bar, along with many options of packaged snacks from hot chocolate to popcorn, to desserts and pastries. The staff is very nice. The dining area is very clean, and there is also a little play area for kids, strewn with Legos for them to create or add onto existent creations. The prices are more than one may like to pay for, but for amusement park standards, they are very affordable. ok i know you can't exactly get excited about food at any theme park... and i'm not jumping up and down screaming that this is the best food i've ever had...BUT ...if you are at Legoland and if you need to eat...this is really a good option. it is located at the end of of your walk through Sealife Aquarium at Legoland. Food is priced about the same as throughout the park... why do i like this place? 1) it is quiet... 2) there is a huge patio outside 3) there are serene aquarium's inside 4) food is made in front of you...kids options include chicken strips (they fry them when you order, grilled cheese, and one other option i can't remember) adult food includes mac n cheese (yes adult food!) and a fancier mac n cheese too!! oh ya! there are other options...but i stopped looking at mac n cheese =) 5) there is mac n cheese 6) sliders...yum! 7) coffee bar give it a shot... read more

Good, simple food that seems pretty clean (i.e. not junk). The grilled chicken sandwich was very good. To give it a little extra flavor I added a bit of balsamic vinaigrette from my garden salad (which was super fresh). Delicious! I didn't order the customizable mac 'n' cheese, but it sounds like a fun idea. I would definitely come back to the cafe. It's not the best food, but it's quite a bit better than most dining options at Legoland. You don't need a ticket to Sealife to eat at Ocean Journey Cafe, so don't be shy about finding this place. It's arranged in stations, where they focus on making just 1 or 2 things. Everything seems made-to-order, so you'll have to wait 5-10 mins at each station for your food. The best strategy is to split up & order, if possible. The sliders are actually really good. Probably the best part of the meal. Once they are cooked, you can add lettuce & tomato from a small bowl to the left. Mrs. Cs caprese sandwich had pesto, fresh mozzarella & tomato. I wish it could have been just slightly heated or served lightly grilled like a panini, but it was still good. They have all kinds of ice cream, bottled drinks, fountain drinks & chocolate bars that run about $6 per bar. Did that seem like a lot to you, too? They also have these smaller versions of the chocolate bars for about $1,50, so that's much more reasonable. The other thing about Ocean Journey Cafe is that since it's so hidden, there's are fewer people eating there & therefore the seating is quite a bit less crowded. Definitely skip Castle Burgers & try Ocean Journey Cafe instead. read more

We typically hit OJC on our way out of Sea Life - which means if we are here we've already been through legoland and sea life. This calls for a snack. They have quick, but healthy options fresh fruits, milk, juice, power bars, etc. They even have organic and/or gluten free options. If you are looking for something a little more filling, they have a grill where you can find mac n cheese along with sliders. The OJC is rounded out with a coffee bar. You can get your caffeine pick me up here to power you through the massive Legoland parking lot. Seating can get a little crowded in here, especially seats next to the fish tank. Dont fret if there's not a seat to be found - head outside where you can take in the fresh air and chow down. read more

Good quality food, but not too many options. The prices are your average expensive theme park fare. This place is located inside the aquarium, but you don't need admission to Legoland or Sea Life Aquarium to get in. It's also the only place in the resort (that I know of) that has mac n cheese, one of the very few foods that my picky kids eat. The entrees consist of 3 sandwiches, 2 mac n cheeses, 1 slider, and 2 salads. So few that I can just list them off the top of my head. Though they are few, they are made to order and fresh. I got a grilled turkey sandwich that was pretty good. Since we have season passes, we will probably come here to eat whenever we go to Legoland. read more

Just had a meal here, still at legoland. Mac & cheese works well for the kids. If you don't want burger / fries junk food, you end up with something like sandwich (grilled cheese in my case), pre-packed salad, and fountain water. $18 or so later, I open up the salad and pick through really old salad leaves - you know, the kind where the stems have all turned algae red. Wife's salad is the same. She goes and tells them about it as at least a favor so they can improve the experience for other diners. Woman working the counter looks at her with a bored expression and is like, "um, ok." That's it. No refund. Grilled cheese is ok, although you really have to have a talent to screw that up. Was advertised as some three-cheese thing and later found that it was just one kind. The smallest of sins at this point. So yeah, it's the classic theme park "pay us $50 for 3 meals" shtick and we'll give you the kind of crap that makes you long for an American Airlines in-flight meal. If you go here, don't expect it to look like it does in the pictures. And I bet they didn't pull the salads and will still be serving that same swill to people for the rest of the week (maybe next as well). read more

This is my absolute favorite place to eat at legoland . It is above their water life area and the food is fresh and tasty . What I like about this cafe is you can ask them to add things or take things out since I have such picky eaters and that the food isn't pre made like how it is inside Legoland . Most ppl don't know about this spot because it's upstairs in the front of the theme park but let me tell u it's a must . My favorite is their Mac and cheese which they make fresh right in front of you , their slides which is more then enough food for one person and I always tell them to cook it medium done so it's so juicy and their sweet potato fries which they add great seasoning to it . This has the best amusement park food anywhere! Freshly made right in front of you and prices are great, too. My son's mac n cheese was the homemade kind that they made in front of us. I was very impressed. The guys working here were very friendly, too. You don't need to have a pass for Sealife to come here, so try it out! read more

Beautiful Little location. Lego building station for the kids, indoor/outdoor dining, high chairs available, large aquarium tank to sit next to and enjoy your meal. The Cafe offers a lot of all natural and organic options. My baby likes the sea salt &pepper bag of chips. But I was very dissapointed to see their "featured sweet patato fries" come out of a frozen baggie, just like the ones from Costco. Don't get me wrong, costco frozen sweet patato fries are good, but you can get a whole box from costco for the same price and an order at Sea Life. So, with everyone raving about the food being cooked fresh...some of it is not.lol. I personally reccomend buying a box of chocolate legos for the moms out there...Theyre legos for mommy.
