The food was all high quality and fresh. The service was outstanding and second to none. When I dine out for an experience, I hope it's comparable to Bricktown's staff. I made a post a few days ago but it has disappeared so here it goes again. We come to Springfield to visit our daughter a student at Missouri State. The is the first time we have been in Bricktown Brewery but definitely not the last. The service by Hannah was fantastic, the food was spectacular (yes, I tried a bite of everyone's) the cheddar curds were the best I've ever had! The dipping trio was fantastic as well! Went here for a birthday party, so I was able to sample quite a few things. Firstly because this place is still new plan on at least a 45 minute wait no matter how big or small your party is; you might get a seat at the bar if you're alone but don't count on it. The people we were with ordered the fried avocado, and cheese curds. The fried avocado was different, extremely greasy, but good especially with the dipping sauce. The cheese curds were literally the best I ever had! The wife and I split the BBQ Nachos, plenty big for two people and very tasty. My complaint about them was there wasn't a lot of BBQ or cheese. I also found their beers very middle of the road; good but not great. The beer mugs are also a bit overboard; sure they are original and cool but way too heavy, I suggest telling them you want a normal pint glass. The service was also slow, sure they just opened and are slammed, but a few of the staff seemed annoyed, and it's understandable, but hey if you can't tolerate serving don't be in service. If I were on that side of town "which I'm usually not" I would go back on a weekday. I'm not going out of my way to visit again, but I definitely wouldn't avoid it. read more

We were pleasantly surprised that all the positive reviews were so right! On Halloween night, the place was crowded but our wait was only 5 minutes. Apparently (from what I understood) the owner decided he could make more money changing it to a Bricktown Brewery. Also a franchise, but more trendy and more seats filled per square foot.
