Cold mash potatoes don't really go well with anything. I still gave three stars as the service was exceptional and I don't think serving cold sides would be a customary thing for this restaurant. Food is decent. Portions are pretty Yuge. We sat next to someone that was dining while talking on their phone the entire time. A waitress would stop by and kiss him during dinner at least 2-3 times while we ate. We were only there for 35 minutes. Dude was smooched a few times by the waitress while we ate Nachos and as a joke we created a scenario that would justify his smooches. We left without any smooches. Pros- Nachos were big! A typically busy Friday night, required us to wait about 20 minutes for a table - but the manager came around with slices of cheese pizza to hold us over during our wait. Talk about hospitality! Once we did sit down, our experience only got better. My drink and food were so tasty. I tried to Whiskey Darling and ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp and Fries for the table. The sauce on the shrimp so was the perfect tang on crispy golden shrimp. I also ordered the Blue Ribbon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries for my entree and was quite impressed. The service really needs some work, here. Our waiter was like a robot that didn't speak. Like, he said, "can I get your order." And that was it, the whole night. No greeting, no anything, just a nod and a questioning look. Someone else brought our food out, but didn't interact otherwise. The turkey burger was pretty good. It had good flavor, and the toppings were fresh. I got broccoli for the side, and it was pretty salty, but not horrible. My boyfriend got the country fried steak or chicken, whatever it was, it was burnt and chewy. Also, very greasy. The mashed potatoes he got were not warm, and had zero flavor. Our waiter didn't come back to check on us til the end of the meal, so he just ate the food. Honestly bad service. read more

Best burger we've had since moving to MO. We got a gift card for Christmas so decided to try it out on Friday evening. Went early so we got sat right away. Waitress was named Romi and she asked if it was our first time there which is always nice. She told us about Happy Hour which was local beers. Hubby was happy with the red. I would have been happy if anything other than beer was on Happy Hour! On to the food. I choose the Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich with Salt and Pepper Honey and the sweet potato fries. Two nice sized pieces of breaded and fried chicken. Yummy chicken. Not bland chicken. I actually removed one piece to save as leftovers as the sandwich was so big. Sandwich also had pineapple and a honey sauce. Sounds like a super sweet sandwich but I thought it was wonderful. The sweet potato fries were excellent. Cut and fried just right and the extra honey sauce on the side from my sandwich was great to dip those fries in. Hubby had the Double Bricktown Burger with regular fries. It was fabulous. The patties were thick and so juicy...not those flat super salty type of patties. There was just the right amount on cheese and their house sauce. Lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. I think I had actually forgotten what a good burger was. The regular fries were also great. Cooked and seasoned properly. We will be back for sure. Really want to try the Avacado fries. As we left two bus boys thanked us for coming in. With the issues in staffing these days this was a really pleasant experience! Only suggestion is put a cocktail on the Happy Hour menu! read more

This is my son's favorite restaurant and every time we go he says it's the best meal he's ever had. The service is always great and friendly even tonight when there was a 20 minute wait. I do want to add, tonight another patron paid for mine and my son's meal, I recently became a single mother and this has been our special date night spot. I've always a great experience at Bricktown. I really have enjoyed the rotating menu atypically of a chain restaurant. My favorites are the cowboy Bison Burger, sweet potato fries...add Carmel and bacon, and probably the item I get most often is the chicken fried steak. Every item on the menu is worth trying it's all so good. The Boom Boom shrimp, dipping trio, Big Mikes Meatloaf, Bleu Ribbon Burger (*chef's kisses).
