Charming is not a word I usually use to describe a nail spa, but I had never visited Bricol Nail Spa. I was visiting my favorite locally owned book store which shares the parking area. What got my attention upon entering is the beautiful artwork on the walls (I am surprised I didn't photograph them!), followed by the maroon lace curtains. I was immediately welcomed and shown to a very nice massage chair. I had the pedicure, followed by a wax treatment to soften my feet. They used a peach scented wax that felt wonderful. The pedicure was $18. The prices go up from there with additional services (sea salt, hot oil and some). The prices are reasonable. The quality of the care belies the cost. The place is immaculately clean and everything looks new. I will be returning. read more

The lady is incredibly rude and disrespectful. Whenever my mom visits, she gets angry and raises her voice at her. Used to go here all of the time! Mostly because of the price point but it's not even worth it anymore. Last time I went in I asked for French tip, sandy had other customers so she told me next time lol. I said well I'm paying and she was so rude , she leaves the nails so lumpy and uneven. Came back again after a few years and I was still pleasantly surprised with my service. Very humble looking on the outside, but Jimmy and his staff have warm personalities, proactive about serving you, and are good at manicuring. They are very straightforward and showed us our itemized receipt and what we were paying for. Today i asked for a clean up no color and they did a great job with my cuticles. I had a spa pedicure and the woman I had spoke little English, however her attention to detail was great and she gave a hard massage - just the way I liked it! I chipped my toes unevenly the other week while I was out and about, but they worked with that was present to them and made it look great For simple manicure needs, this place can't be beat! I had my refill done by Sandy. I had a great experience. Staff seated me immediately when I got to my 4:30 PM appointment. Great service. I absolutely love how my nails came out. I got just what I asked for . My coffin style nails came out perfect and the color was also on point . I walked in, was greeted right away and was given a nice cold water bottle. They offer free Wi-Fi. Price was cheaper than I'm used too which was amazing . Only paid $23 for a gel fill. I LOVE THIS PLACE! The workers are so nice, I had become a regular coustmer here because the prices for waxing are so cheap, however it is not trash. The lady that does my eyebrows are very nice and she is very precise with the waxing and tweezing making sure you like your results. I also did a face face waxing and it was amazing. I have a hairy face and she got every bit of hair off my face. It was not painful, instead it was painless. I have been coming here for a couple years on and off. I don't usually spend money on getting my nails done because I never have time or extra money. But when I do get my nails done come here, I even bring my daughter. During the past summer I have been trying to get my nails done regularly. So I've been here about 3 or 4 times in the last couple months. The first couple times we're pretty much normal except for every time we came in he would complain to me about how busy we was after having me wait for a half hour to 45 minutes to be seen. That was okay I understood that they were busy but then he would rush on doing my nails and they weren't coming out so great. A couple times he hurt me and actually screamed out in pain without thinking about it. This last time I thought I would beat the crowd and go midweek and early, with my daughter. We went in there, there was only one person being worked. Instead of inviting us in and asking what we want, they all just kind of stared at us. finally one of them asked us if we wanted help and while we were telling them what we wanted Jimmy, the owner, takes a phone call from another client and tells them that they can come in and get their nails done right away. Then when Jimmy gets off the phone and here's what we want, he kind of gives us dirty looks and just stares at us. Which was awkward because he knows us and he usually rushes us to choose a color and sit down. It was so awkward that I asked if they were closing soon. They said no, but I had to ask because it seems like they didn't want us there. So then they sat us down and started on our nails. The girl that he told to come in comes in and he basically rushes me through getting my nails done. He ended up cutting up the skin around my fingers to the point where I had to put Band-Aids and Neosporin on it when I got home. When he was filing down my nail he use the grinder so hard that it made me scream I have never complained to them and I have never given them bad tips. But after this last time I can't bring myself to ever go there again. It seems like no matter what the situation is there, they never have time to properly do my nails without rushing. Which really makes me sad cuz I feel like we're regular customers but I guess that we are not important enough for him to give us good service even though we pay and tip. My advice to anybody trying this place for the first time is to stay on top of them and to speak up if you feel like they're not doing things right because they will rush and cut corners just to hurry up and get you out. read more

The only reason they are even getting 2 stars is because they were friendly-ish. I first came in showing a design to see if they could do it and they said yes, but once we started it was clear they couldn't. they kept trying to make it work but it just got to the point where said f#$* it just leave it alone and I'll get it fixed somewhere else. they didn't offer a discount for my unhappiness or anything. Sandy took very good care of me. I went in for a wax and a pedicure. She was fast, efficient and gentle. She waxed it ALL just like I asked.

Tip: they do not speak English very well. Pro: clean salon. Friendly staff. Very nice women work here. Con: their work and prices. $35 for mani pedi with gel... (I think n hope they used gel.) All in all, i was not impressed. I've had my nails done better at/by other salons. They did below-average work. Honestly, It was poor quality. I won't return. This place is great for the money. I may just be coming back every two weeks. I have been here twice so far. The first time my gel manicure lasted almost 3 weeks and only one nail chipped (mostly my bad.) Maybe they don't pay attention to every little detail but if I want perfection I could do them myself or go pay twice the amount. The best part is feeling comfortable and welcome. The owners are super nice. They try to conversate and they offer bottled water while your being taken care of. The place is clean and inviting. Came here to get my pedicure done! I opted for the $40 pedicure + $10 for gel. Overall great experience. Place is clean and staff are friendly. The owner was super nice & hospitable! First of all, this place is very clean and has really stepped up in service since Sandy and Jimmy took over. Now for the stuff you really wanna know. This is my go-to place for acrylics. The first time I got acrylics here, I didn't get them filled for three weeks and none of the nails detached on the edges AT ALL. In addition, Sandy made the acrylic nails feel so light, I was surprised none of them came off. I was really unsure about getting my nails filled bc I didn't want my nails to feel thick and heavy, but they actually felt even lighter than the first time I got them. On another note, Sandy works fast but the quality of her work and her attention to detail can't be topped ^_^ This will be the only place I do my nails hehe read more

I live right down the street and saw that this place opened up. I decided to give this place a try after seeing a couple reviews. Went in for a pedicure and manicure. Jimmy did an over lay on my nails and I loved it! He was very attentive making sure they were all the same length as this is one of my biggest pet peeves. Very friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns I have. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the girl who did my pedicure but she was amazing as well!!! The leg massage feels like you are in heaven, she takes her time with each leg and does not rush like others do The place is brand new! It used to be another nail salon i don't know what happened to the old owner but this new spot is great. Brand new chairs, tools and the atmosphere is updated. I've been looking for a nail shop for a long time. I was so for a pedi and a mani, so I decided to give this place a try. It's close to my house and has good reviews. It wasn't busy the gentleman (I didn't get his name) was very friendly, gave me a water bottle and took care of my pedi right away. They made me feel very comfortable and homey. He treated me as if he's known me forever. I suffer from ingrown nails and since he couldn't get them he had a lady take them out. She was gentle and got them out without hurting me. The mani and pedi were great overall! They did a good job and the pricing was better than other places in the area I've been too.
