I specifically said that I like the shirts that I have but they are too big and so I'd like to order them in the next size down. When I got the shirts, they were incredibly too small so I went back to return them. They had all the information for my previous order on record. Turns out the shirts that WERE ORDERED FOR ME were a different model than the shirt that I had ordered before and the new size was incredibly different. When I tried to return them, I was told they would only give me 50% off on another two shirts. WRONG, I went there with a specific need and problem and I wasn't the one who ordered them. That's not the way you handle a mistake made on your end. I've referred a lot of people there over the years as well and that won't happen again and I will never be back. Just two hours later, I returned to the store to exchange them for a more suitable pair. After wearing the second pair for two weeks, I realized I needed prescription sunglasses. On September 16th, I returned to the store and spoke with an employee named Armando. He informed me that because I had already exchanged the first pair, I was not eligible for a refund, only store credit. This directly contradicted what was stated on my receipt, which clearly outlined a 30-day refund policy. When it became clear that Armando wasn't willing to help, I asked to speak to the manager, Eric, and was told he would be in the store on September 17th. I arrived at the store at 10 AM on the 17th, only to be told that Eric wouldn't be in until 11 AM. I waited an hour, returned at 11 AM, and stayed until 11:30, but Eric still hadn't shown up. After wasting over an hour and a half of my time, I left frustrated and disappointed. I won't be shopping at Sunglass Hut again, and I strongly urge others to avoid this location. There are plenty of reputable sunglasses retailers in Southern California, and I will be taking my business elsewhere.
