It was also huge, and they not only managed to fit it in the elevator but also set it up, plugged it in, and made sure all the features worked. I offered to do the set up myself, but they insisted. We're absolutely thrilled with our purchase. Oh, and I almost forgot, they took our old couch for free. Which was a huge help. We feel so lucky to have found this store and hope you'll seriously consider it for any furniture you buy in the future. I went on my own to check out the store and it was 25% off on the dresses when I walked in! BUDGET FRIENDLY. Such cute selection of donated new/used dresses for fractions of retail price. So many nice styles for under $400! Keep an eye out for the under $300 tags! I googled wedding dress stores and Brides for a Cause populated. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and Alexa greeted me, let me know they were busy and had booked up all day but I was more than welcome to browse and if a room opened up, they would happily let me try something on. Andre was in the fitting room and was such a warm, helpful, inviting, funny, caring, ATTENTIVE and such a helpful young woman. She noticed the style I was going for and helped me find dresses. Ultimately, she guided me to the dress I said yes to. They're all sweet heart, so warm and inviting. I was almost in tears and hugged Alexa because of how helpful they were and made this experience on my own feel like I was with family. please ladies do yourselves a favor and please stop here before you go anywhere else. I had a truly exceptional experience at Brides for a Cause. As someone who is highly sensitive and introverted, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and supported. They even secured an entire afternoon just for me so I could try on dresses in a quiet, calm environment--something that meant more than I can say. I called telling them I'd be about 10 minutes late. I drove from Oceanside and did not expect traffic to be an intense. I was stressed since I already had a lot of anxiety surrounding dress shopping but they were super understanding and had a relaxed tone. Upon entering, they quickly explained what the process looks like and were there to help throughout my time there. In order to get 20% off as part of their promo, I had to spend a certain amount, so I decided to buy the dress + alterations package. The alterations were through a separate company, Magic Touch Cleaners priced at $499 I booked my appointment but a few hours later the manager from Magic called me back and notified me that Coco Melody has not paid them for the past few months and as a result they would be terminating business with them. Even worse, when they tried to claim their money, Coco claimed they are out of business and are refusing to take further phone calls from them. I immediately filed a claim with my bank to dispute this shady behavior. I'm extremely disappointed.

They gave us a little over a month to get my wedding dress tailored, and when we came to pick it up…read moreit wasn't even started on yet. Stitching work was messy, no fabric was actually cut, just *unevenly* folded over and sewed over the folds she made, which were very visible when the dress was worn. Zipper was somehow broken and the stitching that was holding it was coming undone. The dress also has a la Veneto bodice but it completely lost its shape. The dress did not complement my body at all anymore and somehow made a sleek dress look like a nightgown. Overall the stitching looked as if it was all made in a hurry, with no thought put into it. My dress has floating beadwork and I really want to stress the fact that they thought it was okay to fold over the fabric and sew over that, and call it a day. To my understanding, you're supposed to take out the old stitching, take the beads out by hand, cut/adjust the fabric, and then hand sew the beads back on. The seamstress did none of that. Not to mention she wanted us to come back another day, after delaying the pickup for 3 days already. She then said she would get it done that same afternoon so we could "go away already". It seems like they specialize more in quinceañeras, so I am not sure about the quality of work for those types of dresses, if that's what they specialize in then I hope other people have had a better experience than me. But I do not recommend this place specifically for wedding dress alterations, I had to pay way more to get my dress fixed.
