I always try to find local businesses and after reading the other reviews I thought I would give Mott's a try. We had a large area rug and a runner that needed to be cleaned. I have two dogs and a five year old so I was a little nervous. Maybe there was no hope?! Raymond arrived right on time ready to get to work. He wrapped up in just over an hour and the carpets looked brand new. There was as area that I thought was threadbare that spruced right up with cleaning. Such a great service from Riley at Mott's. He came with his mask on and booties as to not disturb any of my hardwood. The carpets look AMAZING! It's a lower pile carpet and not too old, but had become a little depressed in high traffic areas. It looks like I got new carpets! I had the pleasure of meeting Raymond after an unfortunate mishap where a painter spilled something on our carpeting. As our carpet was new and is 100% wool, I needed to find someone who specializes in cleaning wool. I made an appointment and they were quick to come out. One of the first things that impressed me is the care that they took in preventing any unintentional damage to our home during the cleaning process. Truck-mounted cleaning devices must use long hoses, and in our case, the carpet he was cleaning is at the back of the house. That means the hoses had to wind through our house down a few turns and hallways. Raymond placed corner guards all along the way to protect our recently painted trim and walls from any damage. I've never seen another carpet cleaner do that, and was I ever appreciative! He took great care in cleaning the carpeting and after drying for two days, the remaining blotch is almost undetectable, thankfully. Since he had done such a great job with the carpeting, we had him back to try to remove an incredible amount of paint that a painter had gotten all over our bathroom tile - floors, walls and shower basin. Although Mott's wasn't able to remove all of the paint, what they did accomplish was to make a huge improvement. During both visits and in a follow-up phone call, Raymond has always acted with integrity, honesty and professionalism, which I value greatly. Mott's Carpet Cleaning is a life saver! We had an emergency need for a carpet cleaner and Mott's dropped everything to get to us within an hour AND THEY DID!! I've used Raymond and Brandon Mott to clean my carpets several time now (3-4). They take carpet cleaning serious. They do a real professional job, and enjoy do it that way. I even leave a key in a lock box when we go on vacation and give them the code. So when get home, the carpets are cleaned and dried. It's really the best way to do it. They are owner operated, and local. I like this because, it's not just someone just punching the clock making a buck like other cleaning companies I've tried in the past. Seriously, I've never had a problem with them, and if I did, I'm sure they'd take care of me. They're not the cheapest company. I've tried others that will cost less.
