After a few hours at Yankee Candle Village we wanted to find a local place for an early dinner. We came across the Bridgeside Grille and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be an excellent choice. I had the salmon and my mother had scallops. We also had an order of the gorgonzola bread. The food was amazing. It arrived piping hot and exactly as ordered. We treated ourselves to dessert and the Key Lime Pie and maple creme brulee were well worth the calories. Our waiter was fantastic. He checked in often to be sure everything was ok. Before I left BridgeSide Grille the last time I was there I noticed they had crab cakes Benedict on their breakfast menu (btw: Sa./Sun. only) and despite the 2 star's i needed to go back to try the Benedict. Service was much friendlier than the last time, and as we, all know much depends on the server. The Crab Benedict is ok, I've had much better. Unfortunately, the potato side that went with it was room temp. and the muffin was as hard as a new shoe sole. Additionally they made a bit of a mistake and brought me the wrong meal the first time. I had dinner here with some family members from the Valley and overall Bridgeside is an OK place to eat: the atmosphere was quiet and casual, the service was excellent, and the food---though nothing to write home about--was decent. The bread was a little on the stale side. I ordered the mussels with wine and butter as an appetizer and they were quite delicious. As an entrée I had the steak with potatoes and grilled veggies which turned out well. The steak was tender and flavorful, the only negative being that I thought there was too much pepper. The cocktail menu contained largely sweet and fruity cocktails which I found disappointing. My biggest complaint was that the beer selection was lacking. In summary, Bridgeside is an OK place to eat lunch or dinner with family and friends, and would be a suitable restaurant for a business lunch. read more

Stopped in for the first time after hearing rave reviews of the Swedish Oatmeal Pancakes and I must say they lived up to the hype!!! Some of the best pancakes I've ever had as they were moist to perfection and really flavorful. The wait staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient. After the pancakes and coffee we had a couple of bloody marys which really good as well. We will be coming back this weekend to try the Enchilada's as we've been hearing amazing things about these from friends who frequent this restaurant. read more

10/7/21- We had an excellent brunch experience, food was very good, but it was the service just made the BridgeSide Grill just the over the top excellent. From door to seat to a warm Thank you & Goodbye the staff went out of their way to make sure we were all comfortable and happy. Not only were the brunch dishes creative and delicious, but the breads and pastries were to die for - even when counting carbs- its worth it! We went with a age diverse group of women for bunch, and had the privilege of being served by Lily, a rare gem, truly the most talented server we ever come across, and one of us has been in the restaurant business for 30 years. I had the Huevos Rancheros, but our group also enjoyed the special Italian omelet, several hash dishes and their oatmeal pancakes, and everything was excellent (get toast!), and the place is cute & well appointed. We ate inside but they have a well landscaped patio for warmer days. I am from Boston and could be considered a foodie, I'm not even a breakfast person, but this place was really great & I as well as everyone in the group were just blown away, Do yourself a favor and stop here to eat! read more

I have been here a few times with mixed results. The service is always good, and you don't wait too long for your food which I appreciate. The first time I went the food is as really good, the next time I wasn't impressed, the third time it was "OK". I really liked the eggs Benedict, but everything my husband ordered was always bland. He got the lox and bagel once and there was not enough salmon to cover the bagel, it also wasn't the best color. Another time he had pancakes which neither of us was impressed with. We went here for dinner and we were pleased with our experience. All 6 people in our party enjoyed their meals. First off, we were seated and found a small bowl of homemade potato chips and a dip at the table. They were delicious and were quickly eaten up. The menu had a decent selection of appetizers, salads and entrees. For appetizers we had the fried pickles and bone-in chicken wings, buffalo sauce (BBQ or naked were also options, as well as boneless). The pickles came out shaped as spears, not chips like you often see, and they had a spicy dipping sauce. They were okay, not the best I've ever had but it's an item that most places don't carry. The chicken wings though were very good. The sauce was a classic buffalo flavor, and it was applied at just the right amount; enough to give them flavor but not drowning the wings in them. The wings were also very hearty and meaty. For my entree, I ordered the potato crusted chicken, which was a chicken breast coated with the homemade potato chips. Local asparagus was the vegetable that came with it. Both the chicken and the asparagus were very good. The chicken breast was not very big, but fortunately I had the wings as an appetizer so it was still enough to fill me up. The salad that came with the meal was small, but those who like leafy lettuce of a variety of kinds and colors would enjoy it. I had the poppy seed dressing on the salad. I wish I could buy it from them, it was so good. We did not have any dessert, but we will be back and will definitely be trying the Tollhouse Cookie pie. There is a small bar in the restaurant with seating for 6, maybe 8 people. They have a selection of local Berkshire Brewing Company beers on tap. I could definitely see myself going back alone or as a couple, just sitting at the bar, and having a snack, meal, or even just dessert there. Came here for the first time. Sat outside on a lovely porch. The martini was excellent. I am gluten free and they had several options on the menu. I ordered the patty melt on gluten free bread. They have a separate fryer for the fries so I was able to get a side of fries (a rare treat!). All the food and drinks were excellent! The server, Karen was excellent and very friendly. Wife and I are local but have not been here in years so we decided to try it Saturday night rather than traveling out of town. We had recently been there for a fund raising function so figured we give it a shot. She ordered the Baked fish and I the scallop's. We were told the "vegetable of the day" was a melody of assorted veggies. When the meals arrived we both looked at each other in disbelief, my meal had 3 scallop's and a small spoon of potato surely from a box, and the mixed veggies were a few thin slices of squash and red onions. This was an $18.95 meal but looked more like a kids meal or $10.00 blue light special at best. Her's was a tiny piece of fish maybe 3 ounces at best same veggies and a salad of mixed greens in substitution of the potato. this was a $15.95 meal, not. We questioned the waitress about the veggie and her response was "oh they must have run out" not the best customer service for sure. One drink and meals were $42 less tip. The food was tasty but you left hungry. We will not be back anytime some read more

The biggest problem with this place is inconsistency. The excellent: The coffee (best restaurant coffee ever), the steak, and the cauliflower (who knew cauliflower could be so good?), and just about every breakfast menu item. The scary: Home fries means home fries. Home fries does not mean sweet potato home fries. Not only did they show up in lieu of potatoes, but they were almost RAW. I don't mean a little undercooked. I mean crunchy. The burgers: So uninteresting and overpriced. Buns were stale. The fuitti del mare-type dinner dish: overcooked pasta, bland sauce. My last visit yielded a thirty minute wait for breakfast. The waitress did not once check in on us. The couple at the bar next to us got served before us, and they arrived after us. My coffee was not as good as I remembered. My breakfast was cold and had clearly been sitting for a while. I would love to gush about the food, but my wife and I were not served. We arrived at 2:45 on a Saturday afternoon, two tables left and we were the only people inside the restaurant, there were two tables with people on the patio. It took ten minutes for the menus and glasses of tepid water to arrive. We waited another 15 minutes for someone to take our drink and/or food order. There were two waitresses who rather than take our order cleared the two tables from the parties that had just left. At the 27 mi Ute mark we decided to leave, at which point a waitress came up to see about our order. Based on this experience we decided that there was a better chance to eat sooner if we drove ten miles down the road. Nice place for outdoor dining. Really nice waitstaff, when not too harried. Nice place to chill with drinks and appetizers, too. On some nights they have live music, like Celtic or Folk. The only time my friends and I went here for dinner, we weren't as happy with our food. It was OK. I went here with my son and the food was alright. Our waitress was courteous but not very efficient. We didn't get any unlike all the other tables. I ordered the scallops formaggio. I thought it would be coming in a cheesy cream sauce instead it was over cooked scallops in greyish water with some Parmesan cheese sprinkled on the top. Today, with our out of town guests, we decided to give it a try again after a 8 month hiatus. The service was horrible and the food just average. The waitperson was unfriendly and showed absolutely no interest in us, making us feel like we were intruding in her day. Went here for the first time today with my fiancé for a late lunch. We called ahead to make a reservation considering the covid situation, but we really didn't need one considering there was practically no one else there when we arrived. (This was a stormy Wednesday evening however, so you might want to call ahead anyway). We were a little confused when we got there and there was no host or any staff to be seen. We knocked on the door several times to no avail. Ended up calling to let them know we were outside waiting. We seated ourselves in the outdoor seating area and were given a menu. Decent selection of moderately priced items. While waiting for food it starts down pouring and the canopy was not exactly rainproof... we got soaked! Luckily our waitress let us inside to eat however we were already drenched. Not sure why we weren't seated inside originally considering the forecast. We got our food in a timely fashion and everything was amazing! 30$ for the two of us was a fair price as well.
