Brighton is one of my favorite stores ever! The ladies that run this store make you feel like your the most important person in the place. After patronizing the store for many years I have grown a great fondness for Trisha and Luanne, who to me are always very sweet and extremely helpful to me. Actually all the ladies that work there are, but over the years I have built a special bond with the two of them. The jewelry there is beautiful and one of a kind, something that when you wear it people notice, and I always get compliments on. They also carry purses, shoes and other accessories. They are located in the Woodfield mall near the Nordstrom annex. Also one other little perk is, they always offer you a free bottle of water that has a beautiful motif on it. Brighton is my favorite store and I always found the representatives helpful and kind when I lived in that area, and now that I live very far away without an access to a store, Krista in the past, and Robin now, have been the very best at assisting me. I have never had better customer service at any store. It is truly one of the best store in Woodfield Mall. I have read a lot of good feedback about this store, and they don't really make a lie about it. When I went inside of this Brighton store, I really felt  the elegance roaming around the corner. The inside is so majestic and of course the products are all in good quality. The prices are a bit expensive but it is reasonable since they provide a quality and in trend kind of fashion of leather handbags and accessories and more. I really can't deny the lovely layout of this store, it is so instagramable inside. And of course, for the service, they were good and act so professional unlike the other staff in the store that I  visited the last time. I just really hope that I got more budget for my shopping cause I really want to buy more!! I will really work hard for it, I saw some accessories that got my attention but I cant buy it cause it's too expensive, maybe next time. read more

I was in the store on Monday night (10/28) looking to make a return. Unfortunately, for me the "so called" manager on duty was extremely rude and unhelpful. Clearly was not aware of the companies process or an appreciation for long standing customer. You would think when I walk in with my Brighton purse, earrings and 2 bracelets on, she would at least be helpful. She was aggressive and rude. I will never shop there again and although I am a long standing customer who has over $25k in product, I will now think twice about spending my money at a company who so obviously by yelp reviews of this store would allow such poor service. read more

I love Brighton! The whole place is beautiful, clean, nice, and bright. They are so decent place and full of amazing accessories, jewelries, and others. Place is so welcoming, cozy, and has great atmosphere inside. This is my favorite place by far! Staff is extremely friendly, nice, and they will help you the whole time you are in their store. They have so many elegant jewelries to choose from. You can get anything you want in such a fair and reasonable price. They are cheaper than other stores around. Their accessories are also worth to buy, it has a different styles and designs, and also they have so many stocks. Brighton is one of the most visited store inside the Woodfield Shopping Center. BUYER BEWARE. My daughter purchased a bracelet with nine charms on it as a Mother's Day gift for me. Most have lost its luster and they are tarnished. I took it in, 3 weeks later, it looks the same after they supposedly "cleaned" it. The attendant said it's wear and tear. I thought the jewelry was supposed to be worn! I am so disappointed in their product and I'm not telling my daughter unless she buys me something else from there. It's actually the poorest quality jewelry I now own and they do not stand behind their product. read more

My husband was recently at this store to purchase a gift for me for our anniversary. He came home with two pieces. One of which I would never wear. Post earrings. The other was iffy a long chain with a heart. I have tons of jewelry from my husband over the years and never been disappointed. However this occasion, I learned the sales associate Linda was very chatty with him. So I ended up getting two pieces of jewelry I will likely not wear because the associate was too busy chatting with my husband instead of trying to find out what I would like. I asked him why on earth would he get me a kind of earring I never wear? He said the sales lady was a little overbearing. No excuse in my book. I complained to my friend about this and she said every time her and her husband go the sales ladies are over him the same way and ignore her. Offer him a drink and not her. Surely this isn't their sales tactics to be smooth with the men? Needless to say the jewelry is going back. read more

2 years later and experienced the same treatment as Saidy 2012 reviewer below. Very uncomfortable experience browsing in this store...twice. Twice I decided not to purchase, based on their treatment. Their style is actually not to my taste as I prefer more modern, streamlined bags and the quality of their over-priced baubles (from China) made me laugh, but I was shopping for a gift for an elderly aunt. Has anyone noticed only a certain "type" of person works there? Brighton is so behind the times in diversity and opts to cater only to a certain clientele, alienating the rest. It's PURSES and JEWELRY, people...NOT the national treasure or Fort Knox, lol! Its understood a business has to protect inventory but one woman in particular had it down to a science, and succeeded in making others walk out wallets closed. Very disappointed on the service, Mena the "manager" kept following me through out the store making me feel very uncomfortable. When I approached her to tell her that she didn't need to do that that I couldn't take it any more she said in a very careless way she was there to help me when she didn't even asked me if I needed any help, please!! Then when I decided to call and talk to the store's manager she didn't even let me talk about how I feel, she started almost yelling about her poor excuse, Yes I am Hispanic and I think she was stereotyping me. The two stars are for the merchandise, which I like. The negative rating is for "Krista", the manager. I was being helped by a very nice associate, at the beginning. Then, when I asked if I could exchange a broken price of jewelry I had purchased there a few months prior, she had to ask krista about the return/repair procedure (the associate may have been a newer employee). Krista was extremely rude and unprofessional. This was observed by both my husband and me. She snapped at the associate when she asked her a question, and looked over at us with an annoyed look of disdain. She had a very snotty attitude, and a definite lack of customer service skills. We were so put off by her mannerisms that we put back the $290 worth of merchandise we were about to buy, and left the store. read more

This is so sad that the reviews for this store and merchandise are poor all around. After reading all of the negative reviews sadly I have to agree with everything. Let me start by saying I have been shopping at this store as long as it's been open and have countless Brighton jewelry from other stores as well. Very cute stuff. What I really dislike is the quality. When you purchase a bracelet that costs $80 and it turns black that's where I have a problem. Not only that but when I attempted to return it-with a receipt they refused to take it back because it had been too long. Really??? The manager basically told me there was nothing she could do. She didn't even attempt to clean it. She wanted me to buy their pricey cleaner that may or may not work. I think not. I will not purchase any Brighton jewelry again. This experience really soured me and there are so many other companies that have quality jewelry with much better customer service.
