We particularly appreciated the lab work being done in the exam room to help calm our big anxious golden retriever. The follow up phone calls were great to keep us in the loop for results. We are very pleased with switching care and feel at ease with the practice. Thanks Dr. Otsuka!

I already knew through my experiences here with my late Lulu that Old Derby is the best - but…read morereally, they're the absolute best. You simply can't do better anywhere. I say with certainty after bringing Lulu here as a patient for checkups and diagnosing a serious health condition; after boarding her for multiple staycations (about 4 weeks in total); and after finally bringing her here to cross the Rainbow Bridge when it was time. She took a sharp downward turn, I made the decision and the staff was there for her, and for me. From the check-in at the front desk to Dr. Burke and his nurse we were treated with care, kindness and empathy. My sweet girl crossed gently. with dignity, and throughout the entire visit I also was treated kindly and thoughtfully. A handwritten condolence card arrived a few days later, acknowledging my loss, which still makes me tear up every time I look at it. When I'm ready - I don't know when that will be, but when I'm ready - my next best friend will be treated here too.

The staff here are amazing. Our corgi, Miso, has been seeing the vets here since he was 2 months…read moreold. I'm the overprotective dog mom with a billion questions, and whether it was in person, over email or phone, they were always super helpful and quick to provide a detailed answer. The costs are fair and they will never push to sell anything. Miso was recently neutered here, and the staff were fantastic as usual. They were very informative and told us what to expect. We received a call during the day to give us an update that the surgery went well and that he'll be ready to be picked up in 2 hours (they were also super flexible on the pick up time). They even followed up the next day via phone/email to check in to see how he was doing post-surgery. We highly recommend this vet office!

All I can say is they should go back to being the way they were, they have morphed into something…read morethat i wouldn't ever take my dog back to I guess the level of care decreases as your dog gets older or they blame it on the dog being aggressive and since when does a veterinarian tell the owner what there going to do or blame the owner for caring to much or being bothered after they administer a wee bit to much anesthesia that the dog pisses itself for two days in the house but fail to mention the oopsie to the owner maybe there just pitbull prejudice, well then i suggest you stick to labradoodles and dogs that you can handle. Just like humans the tolerance for bullshit is thin in older dogs and they know when you're going through the motions and not actually giving a shit , when you can't handle a task you should probably tell the owner instead of drugging the dog into oblivion, now Dr..... enough class unlike you to name you . If wondering why this is so aggressive check yourself at the door before scolding someone's wife due to your lack of communication with your staff , and then blaming the patient.
