You get what you pay for! If you're looking for a professional atmosphere with low pressure sales (for the buyer and the employee), this is NOT the place for you. The girls on the floor were very pleasant even though I did not have an appointment. They presented an air of nervousness behind me not having an appointment, and quickly tried to urge me to make an appointment. My time was limited, and I let them know I would not take long as this was my first visit to the Denver location. While I was looking through the modest collection of wanna-be-upscale dresses, I had the misfortune to overhear an unprofessional conversation from what may have been a manager to at least one other person in a back area. They were discussing underperforming employees not meeting sales, their ideas to dismiss two or three of them, how to celebrate the one or two making their sales, and that the assistants should consider themselves fortunate to be working at the location. Immediately turned off by the discussion, I approached the nearest sales associate and thanked her for her help. I tried to offer her a cash tip knowing that a manager's discussion lost her a sale from me, but she kindly turned it down. I've worked in the retail industry for over 24 years, and I was horrified at the candor and lack of couth. If there is one thing I've learned in running a successful business, it's to treat your customers AND your employees well. Be kind and treat others with dignity! Brilliant Bridal might want to consider some professional development for their managers so they can provide a brilliant experience instead of a distasteful and lackluster letdown. read more

I was pretty disappointed in the experience I had at Brilliant Bridal. I felt that my bridal consultant was just trying to make a sale vs. trying to find gowns that matched my personality. I didn't love anything I tried on, but more so, I felt the consultant wasn't even listening to what I liked and disliked. She was struggling to properly clip the dresses. Then I started to feel very uncomfortable as she became more and more pushy towards the end of my appointment. I could overhear my consultant and her manager whispering about me through the dressing room wall, with the manager telling her what to say to me to land the sale. My appointment ran 30 minutes overtime... so eventually I just told my consultant I really didn't want to try anymore dresses on. I went into Brilliant Bridal with zero expectations and wasn't in a rush to buy a dress--um, whoops, walked out with the dress of my dreams a year out from my wedding. She was incredible--listened to every request I had, was super patient, and wasn't pushy at all. She was also really great about telling me what a tailor could do, which I have no experience with. I went in there last week for my first wedding dress appointment. Victoria was my helper and guide. Victoria had an amazing personality and made me feel I was top priority and she was a lot of fun. I went to like 6 different stores before coming to Brilliant Bridal and none of those stores even came close to the level of service at Brilliant. My stylist, Nico, was incredibly helpful and made sure to tell me literally everything anyone needs to know about buying and altering a wedding dress. She asked all the right questions when I was trying on dresses and ultimately helped me decide on the perfect dress. I was super over dress shopping by the time I came to Brilliant and was thinking I would have to give up and go over budget or wear jeans to my wedding (ok, not really). The boutique itself was adorable and had a great selection of dresses within my budget. We had a nice talk at the beginning of my appointment where I began to tell her about things I liked and didn't like in a dress. My mom was coming to visit so I decided we would try a couple of places and go dress shopping, even though I didn't really expect to find anything I loved in my $1000 budget. To my surprise, I was totally wrong! Cassidy, my stylist, was the most lovely, kind, awesome person and found me a bunch of great dresses to try on! I was also really pleasantly surprised because since this shop is off the rack I was nervous about finding something that would fit me since I'm a size 10/12, but oh my goodness they had so many beautiful options! I loved three of them, but the one I chose was just perfect for me and EXACTLY on budget!!! Cassidy was so helpful in assisting me getting in and out of the dresses and watching me in them to help me make choices. I felt very pressured and almost tricked into buying a dress that I wasn't in love with. My consultant made me feel pressured to get it because I had asked if I could put it in hold because I had other appointments lined up and I wasn't in love yet. She asked me if I loved it enough to lose it because they couldn't put it on hold. Now I'm stuck with a dress I've never and will never wear. I DO NOT recommend this company. No one should EVER feel pressured or stuck with their wedding dress. Just looked over their FAQ on their website and come to find out you can hold a dress for a small fee. Well, I'm sure that small fee would have been less than the $1,400.00 I spent on a dress that I am not wearing for my wedding. AMAZING! I had been to 8 dress stores and tried on over 30 dresses when I finally came to brilliant bridal. My consultant was the incredible Dylan. I cannot more highly recommend this shop and working with Dylan specifically. She was so incredibly helpful and took the time to talk to me and focus on my wants and needs. When my mom was being negative about the dress that I was in love with, Dylan was quick to point out all of the beautiful details on the dress and help to convince my mom that it was the perfect dress. Plenty of plus size dresses from size 16 to 30. I'm size 24 and I tried at least 6 different dresses. Bridal associates were super helpful and welcoming. Very timely with helping me get in and out of my dresses. Women knew what head accessories went well with which veils, they know their stuff. Pricing for my dresses was reasonable, typically the ones I liked were $650 - $900. They were also able to fit me in on a busy weekend with no appointment. I recommend these folks as the first shop to stop at on your wedding dress search. read more

The girl that was helping us (Destiny??) I believe her name was, was condescending, rude, and just out right disrespectful. I went to a couple shops and ended up at brilliant bridal after a bridal show where I received a 25%off coupon. First off, the shop is clean, well laid out, and nobody got mad at me for picking out and touching the dresses (you'd be surprised that that's even a thing some places...) Nicole was amazing, I showed her my two front runners from the other stores and she found a ton of dresses I liked. After finding the only one I said I loved I quickly realized it was the dress. And the best part is I paid significantly less than msrp! They have a recomended tailor I plan to check out, when you spend this much on a dress it makes me nervous to go to my usual girl! I had a similar experience as Krista B. I thought the shop was quite clean and adorable. The experience with available options and dresses I tried on left much to be desired. I explained my dream dress, quite simple; No ball gown, nothing A frame, straight down and simple. The first dress I tried on was a ball gown, the next four were A frame. I expressed my favorite was a Robet Bullock A frame dress I tried on. I never indicated that was "the" dress. My mother was helping me pay for the dress, so they pressured her to purchase the one I indicated was my favorite of the four I did not like. I stated several times before the high pressure sales pitch that I did not want to pick that day, after seeing the selection. My mom offered the payment to hold it just in case I changed my mind. They would keep the money she paid. I do still have credit there for the amount to hold it, but do not see myself coming back to use the credit due to the poor experience. I had a much better experience at a different bridal shop and we paid much less for the dress. I encourage other future brides to keep looking. You dream dress is out there, it may be here, or it may not be. My advice to the owner, pay your associates better so they do not have to be so pushy to sell a dress. Went to this place with a friend of mine that is getting hitched. I Will say that the shop itself if super cute but was completely underwhelmed with Rest of the experience. First off, our sales rep Casey, was more like a used car salesman than a bridal consultant. She really didn't listen to anything we had to say about the wedding, budget, or the style of dress we were looking for. She was really pushy throughout even though we explained multiple times that this we our first day even looking at dresses. She kept putting my friend in awful super-structured dresses with long ass trains that not only were not my friends style but would never work at a beach wedding. I know she's trying to make a buck just like everyone else but I thought it was extremely unprofessional that when my friend politely declined her persistent pushing of one of the dresses she just simply sat down and pouted at the front desk and didn't even say goodbye. I've worked many sales jobs and have been disappointed myself, but my God a little class would've been nice. You never know my friend could have walked out and then came back the next day to buy but her behavior really turned us off from the entire shop ... good luck to all the other brides out there, hopefully you'll get a sweet lady to help you with your big day! read more

After seeing all of the 5-star reviews Brilliant Bridal had on Yelp, I figured it would be a no-brainer to make an appointment here. My mom was in town for 3 days with the sole purpose of finding the perfect dress, and this was our second stop. While our stylist Lillia initially appeared to be informed on what I was looking for, the boutique itself did not have anything CLOSE to my dream dress in stock. After being told I was only able to browse on 2 walls of the store (as I wouldn't fit in any dresses on the other walls), I reluctantly picked 4 dresses to try on. My mom (who as you may recall flew in specifically for this) was not allowed to enter the dressing room while Lillia squeezed me into these strange dresses - leaving her to sit by herself outside of the dressing room to wait. When we were underwhelmed by each of the dresses, Lillia attempted to explain how we could spend additional money altering the dress to make it the 'dream dress'. At the end of the day, we did not find my dream dress at Brilliant Bridal. We didn't even find a front-runner. Looking back, I would suggest that if you have something specific in mind, call before your appointment to see what they have in stock. This way you will avoid a major waste of time trying on dresses and being pressured into something you aren't excited about. read more
