A great Irish dive (dive in a great way)! Decorated with many artifacts, especially maritime paraphernalia. A nice $10 lunch special during the week. A friendly bartender took care of us for lunch 2 days in a row on our vacation. My burger was delicious. Fish tacos and mahi sandwich were also very good. About 18 beers on tap and live music rounded out the perfect dive experience.

This is THE family favorite. Every time I visit my parents, we go here during the trip. My parents are regulars. Fun vibes, great bartenders, 10/10 Guinness. Bomb tater tots and Reuben. Not one bad thing to say about Briny

What a fun bar and grill in Pompano Beach! Definitely the place to be on Music Under The Stars night. Bartenders are rock stars and get your food and drink to you quickly. Dance floor and bathroom are in the back and take a little work to get to on busy nights.

Cider on tap, what a find! friendly service is offered, aswell as a very nice rustic Irish themed atmosphere. We enjoyed our time here. We did not sample their food, but we did peruse their menu. The food fayre looked good and inviting. We noticed they do a lunch special for 10 dollars for fish and chips (one piece of fish). Other times after lunch the fish and chips offers two pieces apparently. Located right on the sea front. If you sit where we did you can see the sea! Great location. We will definitely be back, and this will be a stop off now for me, EVERY time I am in Pompano beach.

The pub was packed and full of energy on a Thursday night. They have live music here, and a lot of people were getting up to dance. Really lively and fun place to check out!

Very cute place. The food and service was great. I will definitely go back if in this area again.

Briny Irish Pub is the quintessential nautical themed locals dive bar. It has the dead fish plaques, a ship's steering wheel, the glass buoys, ropes, nets, and the portrait of some scurvy old sea dog in the wall. It's a masterpiece! But wait, there's more! They have a great selection of food and drink. I ordered a pint of Harp, and a chicken burger. My bartender served my beer right away and its cold, clear, goodness was the perfect thirst quencher for a hot muggy afternoon. My burger arrived shortly afterward and it was a delight. It had a large piece of moist, tender, chicken breast that was smothered in cheddar cheese. It was sandwiched between a fluffy bun and some fresh crisp produce. The fries were hot, crispy, had a nice color to them. They gave me a generous serving of ranch for dipping. Yum! For entertainment, a construction worker with a thick east coast accent, on the other side of the bar went on an angry rant about electric cars. It almost sounded like he was ready to run them all off the road with his pickup. It was classic. They couldn't have written a better script for that scene in Hollywood. After stuffing my face, and enjoying some local color, I slipped off my barstool and waddled back to my car. As I drove off, I considered myself lucky to have stumbled across this South Florida gem. I hope it never changes.

You know I honestly was trying to think of a reason to give Briny fewer than five stars and I just simply could not come up with that one. This is a classic hole in the wall bar. It crowded and it's hard to find a chair but when you do find one it is oh so worth it. We recommend this place to everyone . OK the food here is gourmet and you would never expect it from the interior and exterior of the location

First time checking out Briny's Irish Pub and I loved it! It's a super cool spot that offers live music and reasonably priced drinks! The bartender that took care of us was lovely and made our time more even more enjoyable! Geralyn, you rock darling! I definitely plan to pop back in next time I'm in town :) Thank you Briny's fam!!

Food was good. Got seated outside but there was a band inside that was playing. Enjoyed but it's nothing special.

The food was genuinely good (not just "bar food" good). I had the shepherd's pie and it was delicious--hot, hearty, and packed with flavor. I'll definitely be back.

Even though it is a freestanding restaurant, I am told that it can be difficult to find a spot. The venue offers live music on weekend evenings, but we finished eating before it began and were too tired to stay. The restaurant oozes the Irish pub decor and theme. Our waiter, Jordan, was exceptionally friendly and jovial. And he was a master at suggesting alcoholic beverages, once you let him know your likes. We had 2 orders of Irish potato soup, 2 Shepherd's pies with cheddar cheese, 2 orders of the Guinness beef and mushroom pie, 1 cabbage rolls, and one fish and chips. The soup was filled with bacon bits and creamy and luscious. The Guinness pot pies were a bit small, especially because they were so savory. The accompanying mashed potatoes did not come with gravy and there wasn't enough from the pot pies to cover it. The veggies that came with all the entrees were freshly made and without any seasoning. (But it is better to add salt and pepper than to try and remove it.) The fish was a decent size serving, but again, no real seasoning. Nothing that some salt, pepper, and malt vinegar couldn't rectify. The coating was light and crispy. Our alcoholic beverages (Guinness, wine, and a couple of specialty cocktails) were thirst quenching and satisfying. (I loved my prickly pear margarita.) Dinner for 6, including 2 soups, 6 entrees, 8 drinks, tax, and tip was $300.

It was a good place to enjoy rounds of vodka or gin & tonics, beers, and other drinks. It does the same thing today, but only with a more spacious dining area due to some remodeling and a staging area that could be used for live music performances, probably also karaoke and trivia night, amongst other events. The only drawback is that the menu has shrunk considerably, and what they have may not be available that day. A handful of years ago, whoever owned it sold it to others who changed the name to the Kelly Brothers Irish Pub and then gave it a structural makeover on the inside. Initially, an o-shaped bar in the middle of the room was taken down and replaced with an i-shaped one on the left-hand side as you enter. Some long high-top tables can accommodate six to eight people, and regular seating can accommodate up to four. Considering the table service had to come directly from the bartenders, the service was good, especially with the crowd, which included those going to Ladytron at the Culture Room that evening. We ordered a handful of gin and tonics while glancing at the food menu, which is more of a narrow flyer that could double as a fat bookmark. Unfortunately, as we discovered, not only was nothing gluten-free available for my wife, but half the menu wasn't even available since the kitchen had run out of the supplies needed to make such chicken fingers and buffalo wings. Most fried food items were unavailable outside of burgers and grilled cheese. The grilled cheese with bacon was okay, but it was better when you dipped it on the side of ketchup since the Swiss cheese was bland (not what I usually have for cheese). The fries were solid. The drink prices were wicked good for what we ordered, so you can get your pre-game on before the show. The service was decent, considering we were seated at the table and depended on the bartenders, so that was solid. Overall, solid, solid, solid.

When we first pulled up, the parking lot was nearly empty, and inside there were only a few people scattered around. My companion went straight to the restroom, so I found a seat at the bar. The first thing we were told was that the kitchen was already closed even though it was only 9 PM which was a bit disappointing since I was hungry. Since it's an Irish pub, they mainly serve beer and wine, so I ordered a Guinness followed by a light beer. Despite the slow start, the night turned out to be unexpectedly enjoyable. We ended up meeting some wonderful people from Italy, Poland, and Turkey. It was especially nice connecting with the gentleman from Turkey, as I had traveled there last year, and we had a great conversation about that experience. The same went for the gentleman from Italy. It was refreshing and easy to talk to everyone. Even after closing, we stayed outside for a while continuing our conversations. The atmosphere inside the pub had a classic Irish feel, very reminiscent of my time in Ireland years ago, with signed celebrity photos decorating the walls adding to its charm. Also money from various countries. The lady behind the bar was extremely friendly and attentive throughout the night, constantly checking in and making sure we were taken care of.
