It's about 8 o'clock on Sunday. Just got finished eating at Brio Italian Grill in Legacy Village. I ordered the chicken Milanese. It appeared to be overcooked and wasn't that warm., So I wonder if it was something they prepared for somebody else and send it back. I haven't been here in a while so I figured I'd try it just to see if it has changed. The food here is really bad. It has been for a long time. I would've it back, but I didn't want to take a chance on some type of revenge I've probably been to this restaurant many many times over the last 20 years. When sitting at the bar I usually have a good experience and conversation with other solo diners. I wasn't disappointed. Had a glass of happy hour white for $5 and a full meal off the regular menu. Horrible! Went for Mothers Day. If you need a reservation why would you not have enough help to cover the patrons that you know are coming? The food was horrible. My stuffed French toast was uncooked. The eggs and ham were over cooked almost to burnt. They ran out of coffee mugs and the patrons were using styrofoam cups. Terrible! We had to get out own utensils. Before that the bread that was brought we had to use the bread itself to get any butter on it. Service was very slow. We ordered 3 flat breads. 1st came out (way too long) sherray said the other 2 were coming 15-20 minutes later they arrived and 1 was not even cut. I had to go get it cut, Sherray took her time bringing it back. The bread that sherray said she would bring came way after the flat breads finally arrived. It's not like they were busy..I counted 4 tables. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.. GO TO THE CAPITOL GRILL OR CHEESECAKE FACTORY. I gave Sherray way to good of a tip for the service recieved. read more

He arrived and we had a polite conversation; he understood because he said, "she has been talking to those 2 men at the bar." I said, and you permit that? I arrived just before the dinner rush I suppose because when I went to leave the place only had one group sitting at a table but people were waiting 15min+ to be helped at the door to be seated. I'm not entirely sure what that was about but I couldn't help but feel bad for them because the gentleman that I think was the manager would look directly at them but go on about his business walking around as to not even be near the front. However this rating is based off MY experience at the time. I took a star away because when I arrived it was pretty slow and empty yet the bathroom was not stocked with any paper towels etc. to dry my hands which I found a little ridiculous considering that should have been checked well before opening and any crowds show up. read more

Hostess and server were as nice as could be. Unfortunately, Brio attempts to also serve food. The quality of the food compared to the price makes this a very bad value. Long wait time for basic Italian food wasn't a result of careful preparation. Burnt and grease made two of the three meals go uneaten. Discounting the bill doesn't make me want to go back but it was appreciated so that is why you got two vs one star. There are many things I could point out about this place, but this review would become too long. I put this lousy dining experience squarely on the manager. The place was filthy. Throughout our 2.5 hour visit, there were at least five tables covered in dirty dishes the entire time. I watched the manager stroll past them all evening as if he didn't see them. Very slow service. From getting a glass of water to getting desert, everything took a long time to get. My wife asked for extra sauce (because her pasta was dry because it appeared to have been under a heat lamp for a while), which didn't arrive until the meal was long over. The food was just okay. We were told that the tiramisu was made daily....then frozen. The server said the reason it took half an hour to get it was because they needed to defrost it. In the end, it was mush and inedible. We went to Brio in Legacy Village to visit with family. We had a party of 8 and it was an absolutely horrible experience. The two main problems were with service and the food. In terms of service, we waited an hour and fifteen minutes before our food was delivered to our table. In that 105 minutes our waitress came to our table about 5 times. She never took our drink order, she never refilled our bread, she never apologized for the delay. When asked about the delay, she quickly blamed "the kitchen". At one point during this 105 minute wait she spilled a glass of water on the table. She carelessly sat down the water, while simultaneously walking away. Seeing the spilled water she stood there spellbound for about 30 seconds. The spell was broken when a member of our party asked, "Where would you like for us to go while you clean it up?" During this 105 minute wait, we asked for help from 2 hostesses and a manager. None of them were helpful. In terms of food, when it finally arrived it was cold. Only 1 person sent her food back to be warmed. Most of us were afraid of never seeing it again. I was also concerned with the carelessness of how the food was handled. When the food arrived, the waitress announce the dish while the food was just inches in front of her face. It bothered me that she was talking over the food. Similarly, during our long wait we observed a set of meals by the kitchen waiting to be picked up, while the manager and other workers talked over the food. The coup de grace was the bill. I was trying to determine how to handle the tip, when another member in our party pointed out that 20% gratuity was added automatically. It's good that Brio got it yesterday because they will never see another dollar from me. read more

We tried the pepperoni and sausage flatbread which was well done and bland. Cacio e pepe gnocchi was mooshy and bland. After struggling with other restaurants who had wait lists over an hour I was relieved and said okay. I should have known better! I was seated immediately. Made a drink order while waiting for my guest to arrive. We waiting way too long for soda drinks and water in a restaurant that was mostly vacant. I had pasta Brio where the chicken was severely overcooked and the pasta was severely undercooked! I asked for parmesan cheese, it was the ground stuff not freshly grated. At these prices, seriously!!!!! The salad was okay but needed some seasoning and had no dressing. Overly expensive, polite but extremely slow service, points me in a different direction. Our server was fantastic at Brio. We enjoyed both of our appetizers. We had the bruschetta sampler and spinach and artichoke dip. However, our entrees left a lot to be desired. My lasagna (pictured) was sitting in a puddle of grease and tasted like those rectangular sausage pizzas you would get in grade school. I would have actually preferred to eat the rectangular school pizza over this lasagna that we paid $18.99 for. We likely won't be returning to Brio any time soon and will support more local Italian restaurants. read more

If I could give this place zero stars tonight, I totally would. I placed an order on Yelp for 7 items--2 of the exact same salad, one flatbread, and 4 diet sodas. The restaurant was only a few blocks from the hotel. When the food arrived over an hour and 15 minutes after I ordered it, the delivery person was missing one salad and the Margherita pizza was so stone cold, the tomatoes were crispy! Calling the restaurant to report the missing order resulted in a rude hostess telling me what the manager would say...but never actually giving me the manager. Thankfully the GrubHub team (Thanks, Wayne!) was much more helpful and refunded my money for the crappy service, cold and missing food. #NoVimNoBrio read more

The food just isn't good. We had to send our appetizer back because it was cold, one entree had to be sent back because it was completely wrong. The other entree, Chicken Milanese was dry and that was including the pasta. The employees just aren't friendly. The Host with the blue hair made us wait several minutes to walk up to the front she did not great us, did not smile, and did not say a word to us. She picked up the menus AFTER wiping her nose and just walked away. That set the tone for our evening. Blue Hair should not be the first contact guests of your establishment experience.
