Fantastic. We were so excited to discover that this restaurant had reopened. It was our favorite brunch spot in the city and we were pretty upset when the owners made the mistake to close it for something different. Now that it's open again we'll be back on the regular. The red sauces for the bacon wrapped dates was magical and contrasted the sweetness of the dates perfectly. The pasta was super creamy and the bacon was delicious. I would suggest not getting it with chicken as the chicken added is somewhat dry. The lobster Benedict was divine. The pesto based sauce was an interesting departure from a traditional hollandaise sauce and it went splendidly with the lobster. Yummy pizza that is ultra thin crust, and salads that are jam packed with the goods. Their salmon is cooked with a perfect crisp on the outside, too. This is a fantastic place to eat healthy (or not), with friendly service. That matcha cocktail was not good though. Don't get that. read more

I finally decided to check out Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar after hearing mixed reviews from friends, and unfortunately, I ended up feeling pretty much the same way they did. It's not a horrible spot by any means, but it ultimately feels a bit overpriced for what you actually get. On the plus side, the vibe and the service were both great. The staff was attentive and the restaurant has a really nice atmosphere, but the food and pricing just didn't quite measure up to justify a return visit. The Pizza: It looked like they were going for a Neapolitan style, but the execution missed the mark. It ended up leaning more toward a New York-style slice, except with a very dark, brittle crust. While I do enjoy a good char on a pizza, this crust lacked the traditional, pleasant chewiness you expect from Neapolitan My wife ordered the oysters and the quinoa and apple salad, and she was happy with both of those choices. We checked out the happy hour menu, but at $9 per beverage, the drink prices felt a bit steep for what was offered. Ultimately, this place is a bit too high on the price scale for the overall quality of the experience. The great atmosphere and friendly service saved it from a lower rating, but I probably wouldn't try it again. read more

I really wanted to like this place because we frequently visit Red Rock Casino and are always looking for great dining options. When Hearthstone Café & Grill first opened, there was a lot of excitement surrounding it--long lines, reservations were hard to get, and everyone seemed to be talking about it. Once things settled down, we decided to give it a try. I have to say, unfortunately, it just wasn't a restaurant that I could see myself investing my time and money in. While the management genuinely seems to care about customer service and guest satisfaction, great service alone isn't enough if the food doesn't consistently deliver. One of my favorite things at any restaurant is a great wood-fired pizza, and I had high hopes when I saw they featured a wood-burning oven. We gave their pizza several chances over multiple visits, but each time the crust came out soggy and doughy, lacking the crisp, airy texture you expect from a true Neapolitan-style pizza. It simply didn't compare to the outstanding pizzas I've enjoyed in Italy or even at several excellent pizzerias here in Las Vegas. We also tried the fried chicken, which was a bit too salty for our taste. It lacked the crispy crunch we were expecting, and parts of it seemed slightly overcooked. We visited for both brunch and dinner, hoping our experience would improve, but unfortunately, we came away with the same impression each time. I sincerely wish the ownership and staff the very best and hope they continue improving and succeed. The service at the host stand was just okay, but the service at our table was excellent. Our server was so patient, friendly, and helpful while we decided what to order. We ordered two drinks, a burger, the soup, and the meatballs, and everything was delicious. The ambiance is one of my favorite parts it has such a beautiful indoor-outdoor feel that makes it a great spot to relax. I'm already looking forward to coming back for brunch. Hearthstone was my favorite restaurant at Red Rock casino when it was opened years ago by Chef Massie. I was glad to see they were returning with the closing of Leoncito. It seems like Red Rock is changing restaurants often. I made a reservation and was expecting I'd sit at the bar being solo as I had so many times before. I was given a choice of either of the two counters. I chose the one closest to the windows. I had a strange dinner--my choosing--not the restaurant. I ordered a half dozen oysters on the half shell. I also ordered their beef tartare, and I ordered their mac and cheese sticks. As you can see, it was a variety of appetizers rather than a standard meal. Again, it was my choice. The oysters were fresh and tasty. They brought back a lot of memories of the previous Hearthstone. The mac and cheese sticks were good. Eat with caurtion when you start. The sticks are very hot from the deep fryer. The mac and cheese is formed into a rectangle, lightly coated, and then deep fried. It's something different and I'm glad I tried it. Finishing my meal, I had the beef tartare. This was a disappointment. The menu says it's hand-cut prime filet. It was more like ground beef. If it's hand cut, the chef must be awfully good skilled. The staff was very pleasant. I was brought a glass of water shortly after being seated. The restaurant was almost filled and a bit noisy, not unlike before. There have been some decorative changes which are OK. I left thinking that it was good to go to Hearthstone for dinner. Perhaps the many times I went to the previous version colored my feelings about the return. I used to sit at the counter where the cooks make the pizzas and other things. There had been a gap for servers to pick up their orderd. Now, the seats are right next to each other and the opportunity for enjoying the making of their food is gone. It was a bit off from the Hearthstone I knew. I guess you can't go home anymore. My visits will be fewer and I'll go to the other fine choices at Red Rock. Being a frequent Red Rock casino goer, I was thrilled to hear that Hearthstone came back. Finally trying after the new open. Stopped by for a quick earlier dinner. Walking in, I was impressed with the interior design and the cozy upscale luxury vibe. Can't be mad Staff was accommodating as I enjoyed my bucket of fried chicken at the bar chatting with some great people dining with me. Honestly had a good time. Fried chicken I got was a lot of food (delicious) but make sure you order to share with others, it's a lot of food I'll be back to try their happy hour menu - pizza and other great items on their menu for $12 I believe. After a long absence from Red Rock Casino, Hearthstone is back. We went on a Wednesday and were not disappointed. We went during Happy Hour. We had the Apple Quinoa Salad, Meatballs, Two Pizzas and a dozen oysters. Wednesday is $1 oysters. We also had Mac & Cheese Sticks and Crispy Frites (aka fries). Everything came out at a good pace and was very tasty. The service was quick and efficient. The decor changed somewhat from the prior Hearthstone. The look was not as rustic. They've added a foosball table and brought back shuffleboard in the lounge area. We all had a great time. Everything tasted delicious, the restaurant felt option with high ceilings and the service was great. The bacon wrapped dates dipped in the red pepper sauce were cooked well. The quinoa salad was a huge portion with a good mix of fresh ingredients. Both the lobster roll and prime rib French dip tasty and a good size portion that worked well to share too. The asparagus was cooked perfectly and sitting over a creamy and fresh purée. It was also a good spot to watch a game with TVs all over the restaurant showing the World Cup. After enjoying our dinner the other night we had to return for Sunday Brunch. The restaurant was packed and mimosas were flowing! Definitely had the perfect brunch vibes for a girls day out. Service was attentive & food came out fast. For appetizer we tried the sticky bun without the cream cheese frosting. Super Yumm! Doughy & sticky just like it should be! Oysters were fresh and better than the ones from the oyster bar at red rock in my opinion. The apple and quinoa salad is quite sizeable and yummy. the sweet potato side was good but a bit overpowering with the honey. The double smashed burger is fine, didn't stand out though. Dined on a Saturday night with the wife; 7:15 reservations. But for a few relatively minor service and food hiccups we had a very good meal and would certainly come back to try other menu items. We arrived just before our reservation time and were seated at a comfy table a few minutes later. We had eaten a couple of times at the prior iteration of Hearthstone before they closed and then reopened and were happy to see they've returned. It's a very lively environment and we found the music to be a touch loud but nothing off putting. We were still able to have a conversation at a normal level. The space is decorated nicely with multiple TVs around in case there's a game on. Our server Elena was very welcoming and friendly. She did disappear for quite awhile in the middle of our meal (I probably would've ordered another glass of wine had she checked in on us) but again she was pleasant and accommodating. One very nice touch was that after my wife ordered a diet soda Elena brought out a whole carafe along with her filled glass so she wouldn't have to ask for refills. As noted I ordered a glass of the house Cabernet as it was listed on the drink menu as "Straight from the Barrel" which I'd never seen before. The problem was that when the glass arrived it was ice-cold - I mean like they had taken it out of a very cold fridge. Not ideal for a full-bodied wine like Cabernet. We found all of the food we ordered to be very good. We started with raw oysters, a Cobb salad and the meatballs. The real standout was the meatballs - they're so delicate and barely held together so you know there's not a lot of filler in there - just delicious savory meaty flavor. I definitely recommend those and in fact next time we will request two orders. Again a small issue here in that they didn't provide any kind of serving tool for the meatballs so we had to ask for a spoon. We also had to ask for clean plates in-between courses. For entrees we shared the roasted chicken and the prime rib. The chicken is a half-bird in a lovely demi-glace accompanied by roasted carrots. The prime rib was also delicious and I especially loved the creamy horseradish as a perfect accompaniment. For sides we ordered the fried mac and cheese and the asparagus and both were excellent. They serve a cheese sauce with the mac and cheese sticks which I originally thought was kinda weird but actually worked! The asparagus is in an unctuous green goddess dressing. I would certainly recommend both. We were stuffed after dinner but we did want to sample some of the dessert menu so we ordered the chocolate cake and the fruit pies to go. I'm a fruit pie fanatic so I was super excited to see they had apple and cherry hand pies. They're clearly house made and the flaky dough is delicious. Unfortunately it appears they didn't have the fryer temp set high enough as they were soo greasy that it was nearly too much to enjoy. Luckily I was able to salvage them in my air fryer at home and cook off some of that excess oil. The chocolate cake was a nice version - nothing mind blowing but certainly enjoyable. Dinner for two came to $214 before tax and tip. That included a 9oz pour of wine and a soft drink. Portions are quite large and we had plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. Overall I would rate our experience as a solid 4.5 stars. read more

Got there at opening time, seated right away in a side banquette which is much better than a four top. Farzad was our server, prompt with offers of drinks. We ordered right away since we knew what we wanted. Started off with 2 dozen (Kumamoto oysters, smallish, not briny or sweet really, they were from the Baja waters of Mexico according to our server). As I've stated previously, I'm not the baron of bivalves , but I was involved in the east coast shellfish regulatory industry at both the processing end of things as well as in restaurants . These were good, no doubt fresh, but I just prefer a New England, Long Island or Pacific Northwest oyster. They tend to be more flavorful at least to me and some varieties a bit bigger. They were served well on a bed of ice, withe the appropriate accompanying items, horse radish , vinaigrette etc. we also ordered the hummus with Nann and some veggies and a Caesar salad with chicken. For round two we ordered more oysters and the meatball app. Which was three large pork and beef meatballs with sauce and bread. Overall service was great, quick and unobtrusive. It is absolutely wild that Hearthstone is back. I was bummed to see Leoncito closed because I genuinely enjoyed their food and flaming pineapple dish. But Hearthstone was also a locals favorite, went in recently for brunch with friends. We shared the seasonal burrata salad, their legendary lollipop wings (good portion size), the truffle pasta (sauce broke), and an eggs benedict. Food was solid, service was slow. At one point our table was moved to make room for a large party. Patio seating is fantastic, will have to sit there next time or come back for HH - oysters are $1 on Wednesdays. SO HAPPY THEY'RE BACK! We were served by the amazing Alexandra who made my boyfriend's birthday dinner feel so special. We were too full for an actual dessert but she brought out a little sundae with sprinkles & hot fudge and a candle so I was big happy for that. Not only that though, the prime rib is a MUST if you're looking for the juiciest, most tender slab of meat you'll ever have in your life. Came with horseradish aoili - they couldn't make me basic aioli but that's okay. I'll take the tiny kick over regular mayo haha. Cobb salad with shrimp instead of chicken - also delicious. Their avocado is very fresh and they didn't drown in ranch or put too little. Perfect amount. I'm very anti-blue cheese so they held all of it back for me. Absolutely awful! I ordered a Manhattan, the waiter said that was the specialty. It was the most putrid Manhattan I ever tried, typical tactic in a hotel. They put way too much. vermouth and cut back on the alcohol so all you're tasting is vermouth . And also the drink was warm. That means it wasn't stirred in the ice long enough. The waiter assured me their meatball pizza was excellent. It had hardly any cheese on it whatsoever and hardly any sauce ...total joke. i've had better frozen pizza from the supermarket. One of the worst pizzas I've ever had in my life. The only thing I can say positive is they had eggplant Parmesan, which was a very small serving, but it was tasty. Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar is an American Restaurant and Bar located in Red Rock Casino/Hotel. I've only heard many good things about this place so I made a reservation to try it for lunch. I do want to start out by saying that this is a newly opened restaurant. We all know that newly opened restaurant often need maybe up to a month to work things out. If Yelp had an alternative rating for new restaurants I would have choose that option. Anyways- We made it to the restaurant and walked through the front outside door and made it to the hostess desk to check in. I was slightly offended when she asked me to sit in the lounge. I said that I made a reservation for a table. In reasonable time we did get seated at a table. Our server was very kind and welcoming. Then took our beverage orders. Her helper serves me my iced tea. This doesn't taste right. It's bitter. I think it's watered down iced coffee. YUK (I hate coffee). I ask my husband to confirm that it is coffee. He tries it and confirms that it is coffee. I push it away from me. I think my server suspected a problem and had an iced tea in her hands to give to me. She said she made it so she knows that it is iced tea. A while later we finally get out appetizer (the lox and mini bagel tower). It's nice that the restaurant cures their own salmon. But they give you mini bagels that either are or are similar to Lender's mini bagels. (Lender's are the bottom of bagels. We can get Chompie's that are much better) The bagels arrive cold and dried out and hard. They did give us a good amount of lox, very good yellow tomatoes, fresh dill, and capers but were very skimpy with the onions (about 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped), and a bit short on the cream cheese. I guess I could have asked for more but I didn't feel like it. We each ate one mini bagel sandwich and I saved the third one to bring home. We waited a while for lunch. It finally arrived. I got the heirloom tomato salad. It is very small and really should be listed as an appetizer on the menu instead of a salad. My husband says, "WOW" "you didn't get much lunch" "you should eat that second bagel." My salad is mostly heirloom tomatoes, a rich soft cheese, blackberries, balsamic, and maybe one basil leaf that was torn in quarters. There are a few issues with the salad. Some of the tomatoes are unripe, The other problem is that this salad could strongly benefit with a LIGHT touch of salt and pepper because it is unseasoned it is very bland. Also instead of tearing a basil leaf into quarters the basil can be rolled and sliced thin to cover more of the salad. Lastly the salad is very small. maybe something like a handful of arugula would make it more of a meal. Or jazz it up with some sliced fennel and add some pine nuts? My husband said that he was missing salt on his fries. He said that the burger was OK but had too much bun. I had room for dessert so we tried the Samoa Sundae. I thought it looked great but was sort of odd. I thought soft serve was something creamy. I was wrong here the coconut soft serve is more like creamy ice. On the bright side it seemed very light. It was embellished with lots of cookie crumbs and coconut crumbs. It also had some fudge and some caramel that was hard like crumbs. We both kept eating it but it was strange. Our lunch took close to two hours. 3 stars is a positive review on Yelp and translates to A-OK. read more

I had such a great experience at Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar and I'm so happy to see them back at Red Rock Casino! The Crepes & Clicquot brunch was absolutely worth it. The $35 bottomless Veuve Clicquot mimosas were a fantastic value and even included a complimentary crepe, which was a fun touch. Everything we ordered was excellent. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the bagel and lox tower was generous and filling enough to share, and the lobster Benedict was rich and delicious. The standout for me, though, was the truffle penne pasta--it was easily one of the best pasta dishes I've had in Las Vegas. The food, atmosphere, and service made for the perfect brunch experience. So thrilled that this great restaurant has reopened!! The ambiance, decor, and food are fantastic!! Reservation was set for 7pm, arrived a little before and waited only a few extra minutes to be seated. Our server was not great (hence the 4 stars) it was a while before she surfaced however the other servers working in the immediate area were quick to notice that we were unattended and were quick to bring us water, fetch us menus and find our assigned waitress. We started with the oysters, they were fresh, tasted delicious and exactly how I remember them (an absolute favorite of mine). For entrees we had the penne pasta with truffle cream and chicken and the Chilean sea bass with couscous. Both were light, seasoned nicely, portioned perfectly and delicious. Fortunately we made the decision to order our entrees with our apps, otherwise we might not have eaten until much later. First of all. It's not the food or the wait staff. Both are very good. My problem with this place is the vibe and the "Summerlin Vapid" attitude. We made a reservation and to be fair, arrived about 30 minutes early. Checked in with the hostess that had the highest level of disinterest in us possible. She was straight out of central casting for Vanderpump. She told us that they were "very busy" we would have to wait till our reservation time. Fair. We went and had a drink at a bar in the casino and came back at the proper time. We checked in again were asked to stand off to the side and stood there for another 15 minutes before we were seated. I was annoyed about the wait time but looked forward to the food. My wife had the lemon curd pancakes which were delicious and I had the lollipop buffalo wings and fries. We both did the bottomless bloody Mary's which were also very good and to be fair, a good value. Pizza had great flavor but the bottom crust was soggy; they graciously remade it for us with the same outcome. It might just be how it gets cooked there. Would be a 3 but the food got them an extra star! Wait time on the weekend is horrendous, be sure to make reservations if wanting to try. All the dishes were great, the service was not on various encounters probably due to how busy it was. I was initially told 40-45mins wait time, went back to confirm wait time after 40mins comes to find out it's more like an hour. We were too deep in the water to leave so we stuck around. We were not in the mood to order too much due to the wait to place food order. Another 40mins later, all the dishes made it to the table. We were big fans of the OG Hearthstone and super sad when it closed down in 2023. There aren't that many great American restaurants off-strip with fabulous interiors. Happy it's back! I can't help but compare it to the 2023 version, and am bummed to say that, in my personal opinion, the overall quality has gone down. Except for the pizza, which was excellent, and the filet, which I didn't taste, the other dishes felt skimpflation-y (prime rib dip, Caesar asparagus, hot honey sweet potatoes, fries) and not super well-executed, e.g. the sweet potatoes tasted like regular roasted plain sweet potatoes with just some hot honey drizzled on top, just meh, like if I went to Trader Joes and got a sweet potato and hot honey. It seems like they may have tried to keep the prices similar to 2023, but with inflation and other factors since then, it led to the lower quality of food. For me, I'd rather my prime rib dip sandwich be $10 more and taste better with higher quality meat and bread. Either do that or keep those prices but offer more regular American food done well, like standard sweet potato tots instead of the hot honey ones. I'd still go back for drinks or to switch it up once in a while. I think Hearthstone has so much potential if they can figure out whether they want to be premium or more accessible. I vote premium as there's also a Yard House in the building. And I say all of this as a complete rando customer who is not in the restaurant business and offering my Dunning-Krueger feedback lol. We stopped in a couple of weeks ago for the $1 oyster special and grabbed seats at the bar. Everything we ordered was incredible! We had two dozen oysters, the Caesar salad, the quinoa salad, and a pepperoni pizza. By the end, we were completely stuffed! The service was just as amazing as the food. Cassie was fantastic. She was so sweet, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. The two other male bartenders were also incredibly kind, engaging, and added to the great atmosphere. Fabulous location and ambiance. We look forward to coming back for dinner, as they are definitely vegan friendly; staff was fabulous, and the cocktail list was really special. Honestly, 4-6pm HH offerings were light, but the pricing was right. read more

Had a perfect little dinner Wednesday, enjoyed the tuna pizza, lollipop wings and beef tartar yum! The crostini did taste a little stale (felt like I was going to chip a tooth lol) but the tartar was so yum! Our oysters were amazing so shout out to the shuckers...I can't recall our servers name but he was in the lounge tables and was so awesome! Peter in the kitchen a sous chef was so friendly as well! Holy shit. I ate at this place and got the hamburger. My brother got the steak. Somehow, his broccolini was gas, and so was the steak. But the burger... best I've ever had. Service was great as well, and the ambiance was amazing, and they had games and stuff. Top tier. read more
