The rear window of my Jeep was broken and I asked around to see where to get it fixed. Brite Glass was recommended to me by a friend and then also by my insurance agent. Rob, the owner, called me within an hour and talked through the options with me, recommending that I get OEM glass to replace the broken window. I went by the next day and they had already ordered and received the new window. We verified that it was correct, and then they helped me make the claim with my insurance company. The insurance company dragged their feet for a couple of weeks, but as soon as they approved the claim I was able to get the new glass put in very quickly. All of the staff that I dealt with at Brite Glass were incredibly helpful and friendly, which made it a great experience. I elected to not have the rear windshield wiper re-installed. Larry, who fitted the glass, went above and beyond, by finding a way to fill the holes where the rear wiper would have gone, and it looks like a factory modification. Mixed feelings about this place - I called to get a quote, they told me 255 but couldn't email it to me so I had to come pick it up in person. When I got there they quoted me 265, but they did change it back to 255 when I asked why. I feel like they never really offered information - I had to drag it out by asking multiple questions. Even with this, I am not sure they I trust them - they said the glass they have is OEM, which from my research is impossible unless you get it directly from the dealership. They also didn't tell me about how to take care of my car afterwards, and just told me to read the pamphlet on the mirror. Seems lazy to me. The ONLY reason I still went with this service is because they have good reviews, and have lifetime warranty. The replacement seems ok, but I think next time I'd go to z1, or novus who have a lot more experience. read more

My windshield area was quiet, but cracked. The new glass is clear, but now the area rattles. A worker test listened and agreed there is something making noise, but it isn't the glass itself. The owner, in the most condescending manner possible, and also showing a lack of knowledge of what is now basic chemistry, insisted that somehow"plastic changes'" referringto the mouldings and dashboard, and since it wasn't glass, it wasn't their fault. read more

Don't trust their services. They made deep scratches on my frame around windshield and other damages from the replacement job but they didn't tell me until I noticed. Also, I don't think they have a certified technician. How come inside of car (side of windshield) getting wet during car wash? My side airbags may be damaged. Scratches repainted by Mike from Performance Coatings located behind of the Brite Glass. He is very kind and did a good job for repainting. Our newly purchased home needed some glass in a window replaced. Also, several windows had water spots that we couldn't remove.The technician referred us to a product to remove the hard water Also, when he saw that the window that was removable, he suggested bringing it into the shop to save money. It took a little while for the glass to come in, but we dropped the window off, had lunch and Bam, it was done! All for a much lower price than any other company quoted us. I took three house window frames in for new glass. The glass slides around in one of the window frames, indicating a poor fit. On another window they broke the molding that surrounds the outside of the window, they made a poor attempt at splicing in a piece that didn't match nor covered the whole of the missing part. They wouldn't expect work like that if I was doing something for them, nor would they accept it. I didn't notice the flaw until installation. I do not recommend them. I called Brite Glass because I had a chip in my windshield and didn't want to make a claim through insurance. I called a few other places in town that quoted me well over $100 for a simple chip repair. Brite glass was less than half the cost of everywhere I called and their customer service was top notch. I didn't even need an appointment and they said it would only be about 15 minutes for the repair. I got to Brite Glass on a Friday about 1 hour before closing and it was less than 15 minutes for the repair. All the staff was very friendly and attentive. Brice was terrific throughout the process. Our 9 year old home windows were not performing well. He came and measured, told me which windows were failing and then he ordered the complete replacement set. UPDATE: My complaints about the car are still valid, but Rob at Brite Glass called to offer an explanation for my most recent experience. I was out, but what he told my wife is plausible--it's possible I didn't communicate clearly what I expected them to do. It's certainly reasonable that they'd need time to figure the cost to replace the large windows. The broken pane is a simple job and I did assume they'd take care of it on the spot. I may have confused the issue by mentioning the other windows at all, because we probably won't do those for awhile. Third chance for Brite Glass; I'm out. Despite being dissatisfied with two previous jobs on my car, I called them to replace a broken pane in a bedroom window--the reviews on Yelp are favorable, and maybe I just hit them at a bad time. I told them on the phone, "I need a pane on a double-hung window replaced, and while you're here, I'd like to get an estimate on some other work." I was out when the guy showed up, so he talked with my wife. She showed him the broken window and the two larger ones we plan to replace later. He looked and measured and calculated, said he'd get us an estimate in a few days--then left. The bedroom window, the reason I called, is still broken. It may be their practice to have a supervisor or somebody do the estimates on a big job, and that's fine, but I could do that window myself in half an hour if I had a taller ladder. I just wanted to say what excellent customer service these guys have, I woke up this morning to a leaky windshield. water was all over my floor and a pool was welling up on my stick shift. I called a number of places to see how much it would be to replace the seal, most places wouldn't do it without the purchase of a new window and seal, costing upwards of 300.00 so I called brite glass after talking to a friend who recommended I call a place to see if they could just simply add some sealant to the rubber window seal. Brite Glass said I could come in anytime yesterday, and they would have someone look at the window, see where the leak came from and run a bead of sealant across the window. it took all of 30 minutes, and they didn't even charge me a dime. needless to say, i will be comeing here for any of my car window needs, and recommend all my friends to give this place a try. this is the service that keeps people coming back. i recommend them 100% read more

I was pleased with Brite Glass for car windows, so went there for windows and a shower surround 2 months before listing our home for sale. Owner Rob Hardy helped me, said to email window photos and sizes, which I did. He sent my email to Robert Wilson our "manager who quotes and schedules." It took 1 1/2 weeks to get a call and 2 more weeks to get the measurements for quotes. Then it was 1 quote for windows and shower surround, not split as requested. We had to pay half up front. After 2 more weeks, at install 2 windows were broken (1 not planned to be replaced), so we had 1 badly fogged and 1 broken window, broken glass on our patio, and no shower surround as it was the wrong size. It took Robert 1 week to place a reorder, and 3 more weeks to reschedule an install, at which 1 window and shower surround were the wrong size. After another reorder and 2 more weeks, shower surround and window were installed, but with a sizeable gap in the window frame and torn screen. I got a call to pay the balance, but the job was not done and I wanted to speak to a manager. Hardy called, had our file, was aware of the problems, was "sorry" and just wanted to know when was I going to pay. It was 3 months after we met, our home had been on the market over a month with defects, and the job was not done. Hardy threatened that if I did not pay, he would put a lien on our home which would make it harder to sell. Repairs to the window and screen were not finished until late October and the installer was directed by Hardy to get a check for the balance even though he knew I was paying by credit card. I got 2 calls late that Friday afternoon before Nevada Day weekend that Hardy said I had to pay that day or a lien would be put on our home. So, it was 3 1/2 weeks to get a quote, and 10 more weeks to do the job, with measurement errors, installer damage, repeated delays in reorders which were not expedited, repeated failure to let me know the status, no priority in scheduling after all the delays and, to top it off, Hardy's appalling attitude of threatening a lien, not offering any accommodation. read more

For cracked or chipped windshields, I only go to Brite Glass. They install windshields indoors and keep the vehicle for a few hours to be sure it sets correctly. They use higher quality windshields compared to less expensive places. I truly have been going there for 15+ years and have never had a problem with an installed windshield. When they fix chips for me, they never turn into cracks. The staff is very friendly and helpful when working with insurance. read more

Called Brite Glass for a broken pane of glass for my sliding glass door. Friendly and helpful on the phone, got an appointment fairly quick to have them come out and measure. Really, the only reason I can't give them a higher rating is because the guy the came out to install ruined our screen door. He broke the track it's on while replacing the glass door, and when he came back a few days later to replace the track he was very rough installing it and now it's bent and doesn't slide open and shut properly. He was very nice, but in my opinion, didn't do a great job with cleaning up after himself and wasn't very careful when working. So, we have a new glass door that's great, but the trade-off is a screen door that's all messed up. read more
