I will never know about the actual quality of their work because initial "customer service" is abysmal. So much for reputation and recommendation. First, the website has a convenient banner that when clicked calls the establishment. Unfortunately, that line goes straight to automotive. Said department does not forward or return a phone call left for residential despite being the same company in the same building. Upon calling again, representative of auto dept. was incredibly rude. Secondly, finally connected to residential dept. ... when dealing with a scared potential customer (does anyone want a gaping hole in his/her house?! bugs, weather, vandals, thieves spring immediately to mind) who admittedly has never had a home window replaced, the representative brushed off questions and rattled off availability two weeks out (for just a measure/estimate), pointing out that no one else would be able to help sooner, so an appointment was made. Being treated as though my patronage did not matter, let alone the broken window, left me cold to say the least so I went the Google route and spoke to a very nice lady at a locally owned competitor who answered all questions patiently and will have someone measure and order a new window on Monday (today being Friday)! read more

Brite Glass is my official glass place!! I called yesterday to get a quote they were honest and quick to schedule an appointment. Today we brought my son's truck in to replace the windshield, we were 15 minutes late and they still went out of there way to get it done to fit my schedule. On top of their speedy service the tech(Randy I believe) took my newly licenced son and gave him a quick tutorial on what to look at on his truck. I went here last week to get a pane of glass cut. When I arrived they were busy with other customers but quickly acknowledged my presence and said it would be just a moment. The guy at the counter took my measurements and said if I wanted to wait a few minutes he would go do the job real quick himself and I wouldn't have to come back. Shortly after a slew of customers came in and called and they got busy. I could see that it would be more then a few minutes, but because they were saving me the time of driving back later I had absolutely no problem with this. I waited for about 15-20 minutes before they actually got time to go cut it for me. The service counter guy brought the pane to me and apologized for me having to wait, then proceeded to tell me that the glass was free because of the hassle. I told him it wasn't necessary and he was saving me time by not having to drive back. He then just smiled and said he insisted on taking care of it, and to come back to us if you ever need anything else. Over the top customer service. Will be back for other glass related items. We've used Brite glass several times the most recent to replace the windshield on our Lexus RX350. It was installed timely and seemed OK until about 3 weeks after installation a crack started up from the bottom of the window. We brought it in and they readily admitted it was a stress crack and would replace with no charge. They stood behind their work and product and apologized for the inconvenience. I was in a bit of a bind because of a party we were planning. I called several glass companies to replace a round patio table glass top that broke in one of Reno's renown windstorms. I needed tempered glass and needed it within two days. Brite glass gave me an estimate substantially below any other quotes I received and they said they would try to get it to me within two days, which, required trucking the glass in from Sacramento. They exceeded my expectations and had the glass ready for me earlier than they said. They offer 1/2 off your deductible on their tv commercial , to replace your auto glass but when U call and ask they say it is 1/2 off your "100. dollar deductible". When I asked about the ad the guys was rude and said I miss read the "tv ad". I own a window business, but we cannot replace car windows. Someone busted out our truck window on the passenger side and I needed it replaced ASAP, to continue conducting business. I called and spoke to Pat at Brite Glass, and it was like speaking with family. She gave me new facts about my vehicle that I had no idea of, and answered all my questions. I brought in the truck the following day, and she made sure that the window could be replaced the same day! I was relieved. I had forgotten to mention that I couldn't get rid of all the broken glass inside the truck, but when I picked it up, all that broken glass was magically gone! Cars always come back clean, with good glass not the China stuff. The factory doesn't install your windshield in the parking lot why would you let someone else do it. While driving today I suddenly noticed a small chip in my windshield. With the cold weather I was worried it would spread, so I wanted to get it taken care of asap before the weekend. My favorite glass shop didn't have time for me until Monday, so I spent some time researching on Yelp and decided to go with BriteGlass. I called and was told to come by anytime before 4pm. I showed up ten minutes later and a man from the back got up during his lunch break to assist me. I felt terrible, but he insisted on helping me right away. They called my insurance company for me to start the claim and began drilling my windshield immediately. He let me watch the entire process! Within ten minutes he had finished and began shining my windows. He did an excellent job repairing the chip and explained that he had 25 years experience working on windshields! I was in and out of the door in about 15 minutes, I couldn't believe it! The shop had a handful of other cars inside, so I was very grateful that they took the time to compete my repair so quickly. The staff were very friendly and efficient and I happily recommend their services for anyone who is in need of a chip repair. The 2nd window replacement I happened to have prospective homebuyers touring the house when the installer showed up. They were very understanding to wait and work outside till they left and had actually finished install from outside the house by then. Highly recommend them! When we decided to replace all the windows in our house, we were a bit overwhelmed. So many brands and so many choices. We chose Brite Glass because they had an excellent product (we chose the Milgard Tuscany series), and Staci and Mike did a great job helping us pick out and measure our new windows. Staci came to the house a couple different times and had great ideas of how to open up our vaulted living room with some new gable windows. We called out Brite Glass to replace three windows in a bonus room. The three windows were originally installed when the house was built and didn't have the option of opening causing the room to get really hot during the summer without an option to open windows to assist with ventilation. The new windows installed in just about 3 hours and installed within the frame of the old windows so there was no need to do any stucco work to the exterior of the house. They look just like the ones they replaced, except they can open. Everyone I dealt with at Brite Glass was courteous and friendly. The installer was very tolerant of my five-year-old asking him all sorts of questions about what he was doing, and did a great job putting in the windows and cleaning up afterwards. Last week my windshield was hit by a rock and a crack stretched across the entire width of the glass of my 2000 Toyota Landcruiser. I went to Brite Glass to have it replaced. Pat (woman at the front desk) was very nice and was able to squeeze me into the schedule in a couple of days. When got there for my appointment, Randy (installer) met with me to review what was going to be done and said it would take about 4 hours. Pat called me after an hour to say it would take a bit longer as they were waiting for the glass delivery, then called me back when it was done. When I picked up my car (4 1/2 hours), my dashboard area was wiped clean and my windshield was crystal clear. My insurance company had suggested Safelite. I had called them originally and they couldn't see me for 2 weeks and were twice the price of Brite Glass. I won't bother to make that call again, I'll go to Brite Glass. They have very good customer service, their pricing is competitive, and the entire experience was taken care of professionally. I definitely recommend them. read more

We just had two sliding glass doors fixed by Brite glass. When I called, I spoke to Rob. He didn't try to sell me on getting new doors. Instead, after asking me a few questions about the age of my house and the doors I had on there, he suggested I may be able to take the sliders off myself and save the cost of a service call. I tried, but after 30 minutes of struggling to get the slider out to look at the shape of the rollers, I called Rob back. He gave me an honest estimate over the phone of what it could cost me to have him send someone out to fix them. Rob said I could get them both repaired for under $350.00 dollars. The total actually came to $248.32.. He sent Jairad out within 30 minutes, and I had both doors repaired and working great within 2 hours.It turns out my rollers needed to be replaced and Jairad cleaned out my tracks and gave both doors a "tune up" for me as well. I've done business with Brite Glass in the past with 2 windshields and one home window replacement. One windshield was installed poorly, but I lived with it as I was trading in the car. I needed another home window replacement and had them give me a bid. I told the person that the bid was higher than a smaller window they replaced last year and he didn't seem to care. I called another highly rated glass company and their bid was 20% less. What I learned was even if you have come to trust a business you should shop price.
