My First Yelping. I cannot say enough good things about this business, but I'll try. I started the day by comparing three glass shops, looking for the lowest price. Brite Glass was first up and found that their price was the highest, by about $30.00. After getting prices from two other places I decided to call Brite Glass to see if they wanted to match the lowest price. I talked with J.W. and he explained the differences between OEM glass made in America vs the cheaper, inferior products made in China. He then informed me of some the problems that can occur with your airbag if you decide to have your windshield replaced by one of those mobile companies, not so good. I scheduled the appointment for 9:00 am. Upon arrival I was greeted by the glass master I spoke with on the phone, very cool guy, then I was introduced to the glass tech who would be working on my truck, he was also very pleasant and likable. They were very busy and the truck was scheduled to finished by 3:00 pm. I picked up a Car and Driver Magazine and read a great car comparison piece in their show room. Before I knew it about an hour had gone by and got up to get some breakfast and catch a cab home. As I walked out of the shop one of the garage doors opened up and the technician popped his head out and said "Hey I noticed you hanging out in the shop looking bored so I whipped out your truck first" he also fixed my roll up window crank that was missing its knob; making it pain to roll it up. Wow! ya know it's the little things like that that really separate the greats from all the rest. I hung out and talked politics for about 15 minutes until the truck was done. I paid cash, and was very happy to be on the road again. About 10 minutes after I left I received a call from Brite Glass, they called to let me know I left without getting my change from the purchase, $10. I met the general manager due to a unrepairable flat tire on his mountain bike many years ago on one of the local trails. My truck was close by, he seemed genuine, so I offered him and his MB a ride home. I departed that day with a "thank you", and a business card from the General/Manager of Brite Glass. Ironically, I gave them a try and since then, I have not used another glass shop. Furthermore, I normally refuse to write reviews online; however, this small shop does work worthy of mentioning. The shop has done several projects for me; which includes windshields for a variety of vehicles, broken house windows, new shower doors and glass for my parents desk. In my case, no project has been too small. All of the work has been exceptional and done in a timely manner, at a fair price. More importantly, the customer service has been outstanding, no matter whom I worked with on a particular day. Everyone from the boss, on down, has always been pleasant; and trust me, their jobs are difficult and require skills. Have you ever tried cutting or installing glass on your own? If you actually value your safety and your car don't take your car anywhere else for a windshield and especially don't have a parking lot company come out and do it. Windshields are structural members of your car. Meaning if its not installed correctly or the epoxy isn't allowed to cure in a temp controlled environment or they install a cheap aftermarket glass which is like a bad copy of a copy and usually doesn't fit like oem, then its possible for your windshield to pop free in an accident which then leaves the roof of the car like a dented beer can and susceptible to caving in more so than it would had the glass stayed in place. The reason Im giving this long schpeel is because Brite Glass is probably the only shop in Reno that does it correctly like the manufactures would. I have no qualms taking my exotic cars to Brite Glass for windshield changes, they've always been top notch and this last install into my Lotus, which isn't a particularly easy install, they did phenomenal, and even added an additional gasket to the bottom of the windshield which sealed it better than the factory. Randy and Sergio did an outstanding job. The only place I'd take a nice higher end car or SUV. read more

Absolutely amazing service! I called to get a quote, I couldn't answer some questions about the type of windshield my car needed so they went above and beyond and called the dealership to figure out what features my windshield had (learned a bit about my car that day!) He called back with four different options and a detailed explanation of each one. We decided on one, they ordered it the next day and got me in that same week to install. The morning of the appointment someone came out and inspected my car, took the time to show me certain things they look for, including the look of the glue on the old glass, something that would definitely not be seen on the new glass. I got a ride to work, and a call a few hours later telling me my car was already done. My car looks brand new now! It's amazing what a new windshield can do to the look of your car, especially when it's installed correctly by the best professionals in town! I can't say enough about Brite Glass. I give Brite Glass the best rating. While on vacation, the pit in our windshield decided to crack and spread. Visiting my sister in Verdi called the place that my insurance recommended, and they couldn't get us in that day. Got an appointment with another company to fix it back in the Bay Area when we got back home, but it wasn't going to be for another week. At 3:15, I called Brite Glass and explained and they said can you get here soon. I said, leaving now. Got there at 3:45 was out of there with a beautiful new windshield by 5:30 pm. Alex and the rest of the staff were excellent. We took care of it through our insurance only paid for the deductible of $100.00. I've been to Brite Glass in two instances to get mine and my managers windshield chips repaired. The first time I was in there my manager was shocked to see how fast they helped her without having an appointment, and not only that the service was exceptional. Now, when I went in the second time to get a quote on two huge chips on my windshield the president of Brite Glass himself took the time to see what would be my best option. I thought I would have to get a whole new windshield because the damage was pretty significant but thanks to one of his longtime employees I didn't have to do that all, he pretty much eliminated the damage. A rock hit my windshield on the way home from Carson (not happy). I called my Insurance and they referred me to Brite Glass and I am so glad they did. The staff at Brite Glass are great to work with. I called Pat (who is so sweet!!!) and made an appointment to drop off my car at 8 am on a Wednesday morning. When I dropped it off Randy walked me out to my car and told me he would have it done by 1:30. I told him I had some plans in the afternoon (since it was my Birthday) so he said he would try to get it done before then. The problem was that we are a one car family, so I was running into the issue of how to get home and get back to pick it up while needing to make sure I had it to get my husband from work. A large sliding glass door in our home was becoming very difficult to open and close. We called several window companies and they would not consider a repair only replacement. I gave Brite Glass a call and they set up an appointment in two days. Brice from Brite Glass arrived, assessed the door and told us he could repair right away. I called brite glass to inquire about getting the rear window of our truck replaced. It was a 3 part window with a mechanical slide in the middle. We had to repace the whole thing. Brite glass looked it over the very next morning, made some recommendations, and ordered the window. It turned out to be less than our deductible and the window is actually easier to see out of than the original. We expected it to take weeks before we could get in but they called us Monday morning and said when can you be here. It was done that day. My windshield was hit hard by 2 rocks forming a "spider-shaped" holes while I was driving on the freeway. Glass flew into the car so it was nerve wracking to say the least. I was lucky to call Brite Glass to make an appointment. Not only did Alex Forman, Auto Glass Manager, get me in quickly, he patiently led me through the process of finding the necessary information so he could help. Blown away again! I went into Brite Glass at 3:15pm for a chip in my windshield (with no appointment). By 3:40 they had everything completed and they even helped me contact my insurance to get the cost covered! I didn't pay a dime! They were so helpful and friendly. Mike Rodriguez came to our rescue after we foolishly used a big box store for our sliding patio door purchase and installation. The installation job resulted in a "sliding" glass door that didn't!! It was dead weight back and forth. The installer had no remedy. Several months later, I talked with Mike about our problem. Mike came out and fixed the door.
