Scheduled an appointment weeks ago (confirmation below) as a new patient for my daughter who needs braces. Got to the appt 15 minutes early and the receptionist told me via an outside air phone that they were closed for the rest of the day and the dentist already left. Wouldn't even listen to me to let me tell her I had a confirmed appointment. Given how frequently my daughter would need to visit and the vibe of the team that solidified my decision to go elsewhere. As someone who has been through the orthodontist struggle previously -- I wore braces for 4 years in high school -- I was not looking forward to returning to that orthodontist chair as an adult for Invisalign. I recently completed my Invisalign treatment with Central Park North Orthodontics after about two years of treatment, and have rave reviews for them! They were fabulous. I had a great experience and am very happy with the outcome with my teeth. Dr. Washington and his staff are excellent -- their expertise is evident, and they took the time to explain the procedures, answer all my questions at every visit, and were really attentive, responsive, and friendly. They always made me feel really comfortable during my visits. The office is really organized and very clean (which was really important since I had to go in during the pandemic -- they had procedures in place to keep us all safe). I got appointment reminders, and they were really flexible when I had to change appointments. The Invisalign was also affordable and they provided me with many payment options and even contacted my insurance company to see if part of it was covered. Dr. Washington and his staff are the best! From the pleasant welcome at the front desk to the actual orthodontic services provided, I've been treated with professionalism, courtesy, and top of the class skills throughout my Invisalign process. Early on, Dr. Washington explained the timeline and all the steps to me, including high tech visuals of my imaging and the planned stages of re-aligning my teeth. The office/clinic is modern, clean, and comfortable. Scheduling and re-scheduling are easy. Staff are accommodating. The location is easily accessible near the 2/3 or B/C stop at 110th St, but the area is not crowded/busy. And, most importantly, my teeth look great and I've had little to no discomfort throughout treatment (completed 4 of 6 months so far). As a health professional myself, I'm pretty picky and I've only been anywhere from satisfied to impressed by Dr. Washington and his team. Went to Dr. Washington for my braces consultation and my experience was absolutely amazing. I attempted to go to two other orthodontists before coming to him. Dr. Washington's consultation was by far superior then my prior ones. There was barely any wait time, the office was modern and technological advanced in comparison to other offices. I was recommended through my Dentist to see Dr. Washington. When I was arrived, I was greeted by a clean relaxing waiting room with great music (no Musak) From the beginning everyone greeted me with warmth and professionalism. I went into his office to meet Dr. Washington and get evaluated. He was so kind and thorough. I had my son with me, Dr. Washington took a minute to include my son and make him feel comfortable as well. The prices were reasonable and he gave me a price for all the services...nothing hidden to be sprung on me later. The office looks immaculate! And all the equipment is state of the art!! Fast forward...I've had my braces removed after about 18 mos. the staff has NEVER been short or discourteous. Dr. Washington always makes sure he personally attends to you. The appointments are timely...I've never walked in and waited longer than 10 minutes to be seen. Even when I had an emergency and needed to come in I was prioritized and was seen that day!! I love this office. My teeth look amazing...it was seriously the best investment I've ever made in myself. He definitely has a continuous customer. Horrible service. They overbook patients all the time. They rush patients in and out, won't have time for questions. Forget about asking to get your wire adjusted, they will tell you to cut it yourself at home with a nail cutter. Stay away from this place! read more

Unreliable shaddy place!! Went there for a free consultation, however had to fill out all insurance information. And of course, a few weeks later, got a bill for 1000+ for treatments didn't receive. Long overdue review. When my general dentist (a friend of Dr. Washington) told me I need to get braces I was less than thrilled. Braces as a child are annoying enough but getting braces in your late 20's is even worse. That being said, I went into the office for the first time for a consultation October 2015. Still unsure about proceeding, I kept it in the back of my mind until i got a followup call from the office and decided to go back in and move forward with treatment January 2016. Best decision ever. I finished treatment this year despite putting the office through administrative hell by moving to California 8 months into treatment (and flying back for Saturday appointments) then moving back to NY one year later. Over the course of my 2 years 4 months treatment, my insurance changed 3 times, something that is less than ideal when in the middle of orthodontic treatment. However, the staff at Dr. Washington's office as well as Dr. Washington himself were beyond helpful and accommodating. The wait can sometimes be a bit long in the office depending on time of day, but other than that I have zero complaints of my time as a patient. I am glad I made the decision to go forth with treatment at this office. I'm thrilled with my results and grateful that I was able to stay with this orthodontist despite all of the life changes I experienced the past few years. If you're an adult nervous and getting traditional braces, it really is a small time of investment for a lifetime of a beautiful smile. Thanks Central Park North Orthodontics!
