We had plans to be in Paris, by way of Heathrow which were diverted when we had a serious problem with our plane and had to turn around over New Foundland and come to BOS. The staff on the plane were very accommodating and helpful and so were the airport staff. When we returned the next day to re-start our journey (this time from this airport) to LHR, the staff was very helpful in getting our ticket changes resolved. Mimizo was our ticketing agent and she truly went the extra mile to assist us. Thanks for your hard work, dedication, and great customer service!

British airways is just like Spirit airlines but NOT cheap flights. I purchased first class, international going to USA-Rome. ROUND TRIP. Pros Zero! Nothing good! Cons All flights and connections DELAYED for 1 hour. Worst catered for special diet. Worst vegetarian meal I ever had. No snacks in flight. Lazy bad and rude customer service in flight. Connection flight they want me to check in my carry on bag, because I was NOT "club world" even know I was first class round trip. On connecting flight they gave me an extra small dirty seat.

This is the only option for airport check in. No self service kiosks

First time flying with British Airways and I was very impressed. I flew from Boston to London on a huge plane (Airbus A380). Boarding was extremely efficient considering there was so many people on the flight. There was only a slight delay leaving but we arrived on time. I flew economy and was very pleased with the flight. There was more leg room than other airlines and they provided a pillow and a blanket for the flight. The seating area was clean. The meal was good. I opted for the chicken, veggies and potato. The chicken was actually tender. They gave a little key lime dessert which was nice. Attendants and employees were friendly throughout. read more

My experience started with a phone +18556689025 call because I couldn't make a same-night reservation via the app after midnight. Logical. The woman that answered the phone (wish I knew her name) was friendly and helpful. She made the reservation gave me a hint about finding the location (it's tucked away) and efficiently checked us in when we arrived. We booked a two bedroom, which was very convenient and allowed this tired traveling family some solid rest. The property is showing some signs of aging for sure and the remote for the TV in the second bedroom was missing but it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The nice lady shared that there is free breakfast available but we missed it due to all the good sleep we were getting. read more

I've been fighting with British Airways since early June, when they moved up a connecting flight, which we would've missed, and we received no help in getting us onto a plane that fit our original schedule. On the same trip they also charged us twice for a checked bag, for which I still have not received a refund. In fact, they've "closed" my customer service claim twice without even emailing me to notify me that the claim was closed (I had to keep an eye on the status in their claims portal), even though I've provided clear documentation that the bag was paid for in advance and then again at the airport because the gate agent said it hadn't been paid for. They're refusing to refund 66 Euro that I'm very obviously entitled to. The most insane part about all of this (we were also delayed two hours on the final leg home, so there literally wasn't one leg of this trip that wasn't messed up by BA in some way) has been the customer service. I've had my share of bad customer service experiences, but this is the worst. I'm warning everyone I know: Do not fly British Airways. The same owners operate Iberia, Vueling, Aer Lingus, Level. read more

I've never had such an unpleasant experience with an airline. British Airways completely failed on every level -- from customer service to basic passenger care. Communication was horrible, staff were rude and dismissive, and there was absolutely no accountability from anyone. I have food allergies that were communicated well in advance, yet my meal requests were ignored both ways. The airline showed no sensitivity or understanding -- just excuses and indifference. Even after the flights, their customer service was unhelpful and unapologetic. For an airline that claims to represent quality and service, this was a complete disappointment. I won't be flying with British Airways again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who values professionalism, respect, or basic decency. read more

Best food EVER!!!!! The flight attendants were the nicest ever. I got so much sleep and it was so comfy. The sunset was I was in the aisle seat so I couldn't control the window up and down so i couldn't see well. But it was THE BEST! FLY BRITISH AIRWAYS read more

Imagine taking the worst of Spirit, Frontier, and Ryanair and combining them into one AWFUL airline... and you get British Airways. There are many air carriers, just do yourself a favor and avoid BA. My wife took a round trip BOS-LHR-BOM. The second flight LHR was cancelled due to poor maintenance and she was going to be very late and miss a critical train connection. BA didn't care until at 3am Boston time, I called them and harangued them into putting her on an earlier flight. That only took a hour. On the way home, her first flight was 6 hours late again, causing her to miss her connection home - and there were no other flights available for 2 days. They initially refused to sign her over to another airline, but again, at 3am I harangued them into putting her on a Lufthansa flight, which was flawless. After return, BA REFUSED to comply with UK law to reimburse, and then finally refunded less than 50% of what they should have. take a look at trustpilot to see how BA is screwing thousands of other people. It's crystal clear that BA doesn't care about their customers or maintaining their aircraft. read more

I recently booked Club World tickets (business class) for myself and my son from Boston to Johannesburg. I paid $11,636.82 for two tickets. Where do I even begin? The seats were like sitting in an old-fashioned winged back chair with an ottoman that you would find in a 1800's museum! No room, no privacy, hard and the passengers in the middle seats, had to climb over me in order to get to the bathroom!!!! That, along with being on the isle with people continually bumping into me, made it impossible to sleep and was extremely uncomfortable. Because the seats were not straight, rather set in a yin-yang configuration, my arm against the other seat had to always be bent or placed over my stomach. The controls to my seat and the TV on the flight from London to Johannesburg were not working properly, so I could only get the seat to move small increments by continually pressing the controls and even at that, the staff had to manually position my seat at times. My TV had to be rebooted three times. Oh, and did I mention, there was no WiFi on the flights as well?! My son sat in the middle seat and he had to sleep shoulder to shoulder with someone he did not know with absolutely no separation between them, again making this a very uncomfortable awkward situation. There was no storage other than the small draw next to the floor so if I needed something, I had to move the seat to an upright position in order to get anything out of it. I thought flying business class would be such a treat, but instead I'm left with an enormous bill for a horrible experience. I am livid that British Airways had the audacity to charge me $11,636.82 for these tickets that were premium economy at best!! I complained to the airline and get this.....I was offered $280 E-ticket for my next flight!!!! I will never ever book a flight with British Airways again and I would caution anyone thinking of booking with them, especially business class tickets, run away and go with another airline. read more

After a cancelled flight in March 2025, it's been a series of delays in getting a refund. endless waits only to get an ineffective bot chat that can't answer my questions. extremely poor customer service. On a different flight, cold air was blown into the cabin for the entire 9 hour flight. read more

Website is horrible--tried to checkin online and it sent me in a loop several times where I had to login again and again. Paid for seat selection so I could have an aisle seat only for it to be unexpectedly changed to a middle seat, no explanation offered. Also paid for extra checked baggage and they tried to Charlene me again because it wasnt in the system, luckily I had email receipt. Audio terrible on inflight entertainment. I had booked BA because I flew them years ago and had thought they were good; never again. read more

Too bad we can't give a 1/2 star We flew to Rome on British Airways (BA) arranged by Costco Travel. We arrived an hour late and worried there could be trouble with the arranged car. We got our luggage (20 minutes) and met the car transport and actually had left the airport when we realized we had left a carry-on on the plane. We returned and I spent over 20 minutes going back through security back to customs where they said baggage left on the plane would be at lost and found. I found lost and found but no one was there for BA, after 20 minutes with the car waiting I left and we went to the hotel. We immediately called British Airways for the phone number of their lost and found and THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT! They didn't try to help us - they said "it's the Rome Airport running lost and found." We found multiple numbers on the internet for the lost and found, no one answered, but some we left messages. We found an e-mail where we sent a detailed description of the carry-on but no one ever contacted us. Our hotel in Rome is about 45 minutes from the airport $40-$80 by train or bus so we called British Airways again as we were willing to go back to the airport lost and found if the carry-on was there but once again BA declined to help in any way. Stuart is semi-retired, Diane retired the first year of covid. The kids are grown, covid is no longer a pandemic, and we have the time and finances to travel. We will travel but not using British Airways read more

Would give negative star if possible. Booked my flight with British Airways that was supposed to leave from Boston Logan at 7:35 PM tonight to arrive in London for 7:35 AM. Got to the airport and passed security at 4:30PM. Saw the airplane at the gate and announcement hoard indicate the departing time is now 30 minutes early. Great. At 6:15PM, 15 minutes before boarding we passengers got an email and text message informing us that due to "technical problem" BA made the "difficult decision to delay overnight" with no definite time in sight. Then called the BA for agent to put me in different flight and was told all flights from BA and Virgin bound to London this evening are fully booked. And only then told the flight has been delayed for 12 hours. There's no announcement for any compensation not even for meal or lodging voucher. I have no choice but to wait at the airport for 12 hours. This is purely unacceptable, especially when given that the plane was already there at the gate well before boarding time and only announcing delay of 12 hours 15 minutes before boarding! And no compensation whatsoever! Do NOT book flight with British Airways unless you relish the inconvenience and its ridiculous logistics. read more

We had such a stressful month in Dec 2020 when relocating back to the UK from the US. The guy (wish I could remember his name) at the BA Boston ticket counter made it so much better. After the vet screwed up the paperwork for our ESA dogs and we had to spend 21 nights in a hotel in Hyannis, MA. We must have looked so rough when we got to the counter, as the gentleman sorted out all the issues, didn't charge us for all our luggage (but it all got to Heathrow). We were on the last flight that ESAs were allowed on BA, but they made sure we were comfortable, loaded first and everything went fine. The food, though we weren't really hungry due to the stress, was good, fresh and hot. Thank you so much, to everyone involved as our homecoming wouldn't have happened without your help. read more

We had a horrible experience with BA, flying from Marseille to Denver. The first flight was delayed and missed the plane to the second flight. Then they flew us out to Portland and we were standing by BA customer service desk for 3 hours without any service or help. I had to book a flight with another carrier to get home. BA is not even trying to compensate for our flight. read more

My first British Airways experience was a mixture of very good and very bad. The experience was a round trip flight Boston to Geneva with a stop short layover in London The bad parts were: -We were involuntarily bumped off the first flight. This totally messed up our scheduled 10-day hike in Europe. We didn't even get the opportunity to volunteer. We just showed up and the check in and were told there was no seat for us because the plane was changed to a smaller one. Not sure why we were selected to be involuntarily bumped but it looked like the people getting seats had giant litters of children. So I guess in one way it was good for us to be bumped off that flight. -We got a compensation in the form of a debit card. Which is good. However, if you ever get a BA compensation card be careful. It is very easy to lose the money. The card expires after 3 months and any unused money goes back to BA. If you forget your PIN, there is no way to retrieve it; the money goes back to BA. No replacements if lost or stolen. -There check in at Boston is very inefficient. There is no self check in kiosk so everyone has to stand in line if they didn't check in online. -The return leg from Geneva to London was also delayed one hour, so we arrived back to Boston a day late. In the end, BA ended up having to pay for hotels for us on both the outgoing and return flight. Now the Good parts: -The British staff were very nice both on the ground and on the plane. . Some of the American staff at the Boston desk not so much. But one manager did give us lounge passes and an upgrade to compensate for being bumped. -Speaking of upgrades and lounge passes, getting into the lounge and on to business class for the red eye portion was really nice. That is why they get one star back. The lounge has great free food, alcohol and an espresso machine. -The free hotel in London had very good food. Maybe this trip was just a lot of bad luck. I might try British again if they offer a good price and it's not 100% essential to reach my destination on time. read more

I've flown BA several times now, and each time has been an absolute pleasure. They're my favorite airline hands-down over any others that I've travelled with. Flight attendants and pilots are always so courteous and kind, and they keep it classy. It's definitely the best value for service and price, and their on-board meals are pretty tasty. They also give you complimentary wine, although I noticed on my last flight they were less generous with that than they used to be - I only got one glass whereas before I used to get at least two or maybe three rounds, but they've probably done away with that as 1. People could get wasted very easily and 2. It saves money. I've always enjoyed their in-flight entertainment as well, there's a wide selection. I had the opportunity to sit in their Emergency Exit row and that was amazing for leg room; as it was an international flight the plane was huge and the row faced a small corridor leading to the restroom, so there was no barrier or wall, you had free reign to stretch to your heart's content. A+! The regular Economy leg room is decent, I don't think any airline has better leg room than any of the others in that regard, so it's fairly standard. I've never had an issue with them at all such as lost luggage or a delayed flight. Whenever I've needed assistance, they've always been there to help with a smile. I would highly recommend them to anyone traveling internationally or locally within the UK. read more

British Airways has issues. My flight to Boston to Geneva on Friday night, the airplane was downsized. So 55 people couldn't get in. One of them was me and they didn't even allow me to check in. They sent me to a hotel which is just a few miles from my place. Then I had to take the next day's flight. On the way back from Geneva to Boston, the first flight was delayed, so I missed the flight from London to Boston. They sent me a hotel (again), and had to take the next day's flight. Yikes. read more

As a BA Platinum member, customer for over 20 years, and frequent traveler, I can attest to the negative reviews of horrible policies and poor customer service. Recommend calling during UK normal business hours, which is 10% better than the F service of the outsourced customer service agents. Universally they blindly follow stringent BA policies even when flight schedule problems originate with BA canceling flights. They never reimburse you for your trouble in any way. I will re-establish record with Air France or Lufthansa for future European destinations. read more

When coronavirus initially began, my flights were cancelled and they refused to provide a refund or voucher. I have a bad immune system and was extremely afraid to fly abroad when Coronavirus was spreading. They charged me the entire trip, refused to provide a voucher and kept telling me it was a 'no show' when I couldn't get in contact with them! I'd wait 8 hours and then would be hung up on! I told the company, "you'd rather your customers die and take all necessary precautions to keep them safe!" I lost $600+ dollars, but at least I'm alive.... no thanks to British Airways.. read more

Be wary! A $25 fee is charged for calling to book flights. This happened to me even though I mentioned I was unable to book online. I cancelled this flight due to the pandemic and after several lengthy phones calls was told that my full refund was minus the $25 fee. You may say it's only $25 but money aside it was sneaky of them not to be upfront during the cancelation process. read more

We recently took a vacation to Santorini Greece and Italy first class on British Airways .They delayed our flight from Boston and we missed our connecting flight. They booked us on another airline since the next flight on British Air was the next day. We got to Santorini, but our bags were not there. They lost them for 4 days, and we had no clothes or anything. We were forced to purchase everything we needed. On our return flight, that was also delayed, we barely got on our connecting flight back to Boston. Unfortunately, they also lost one of our bags again on that flight. That bag was found in London, and returned a few days after we returned to Boston. There was also a problem with my broken seat, but that was minor compared to everything else. I have been trying to get British Air to compensate us for these issues, but they make it very hard to get any answers or compensation for their mistakes. I thought British Air was the best airline in the business, but not any longer. I was very unhappy. I would not recommend them. The staff on board is very nice, but their system is a train wreck. read more

We were a family of 4 traveling from Boston to Tel Aviv for a family function in early August. There was a change of plane in London . Our luggage did not arrive in Tel Aviv Airport on Aug 3. We filled up the necessary paperwork at Tel Aviv airport but needed to make reasonable purchases such as toilteries, underwear, clothes etc to attend this function. We submitted all the receipts to BA online baggage claim form (on August 18th) on our return to Boston (which was within the 21days from the flight). Some of the receipts were in Hebrew, others in English but all clearly outlined. I provided my credit card bill which showed the conversion from Israeli sheckels to US dollars for what was spent. We were told that BA would refund customers for any "essential items" they need while they don't have their bags. Last week on Oct 22, we got an email from BA giving our entire family of 4 a $195 voucher to be used on a future BA flight..... I had submitted receipts that were substantially more than this for our family of 4 adults. This is ludicrous, insulting and plainly a complete mistruth from what BA reported that they would compensate (reimburse) for delayed luggage. I did not request a voucher for flight. Even it were cash $195 doesn't even compensate one person for the refund of essential items etc. I do not recommend BA for future flights and was disappointed in their complete lack of accountability. Don't choose this airline as it is unlikely that BA will take responsibility if they are at fault. read more

I had many airline choices, all within the same price range when booking a couple tickets abroad. Right now is a great time to go away, as they are all competing with fares. Even though I booked my ticket for my trip 4 months ago, the rates are still very low now. I did my research to find out who had the best in flight offerings. I found British Airways had complimentary drinks all night with 2 meals on board and comfy, larger cabins with each seat having its own entertainment. I knew it was the best one to book for a long trip to Europe. Other airlines did not offer the free food/drinks and didn't even have a tv on the seat rest. No thanks.. At check-in at Logan, the attendant was very nice. There were plenty of attendants and we were at the front of the line in 2 minutes. The plane left on time, a full flight that was very organized from start to finish. On our seat was a wrapped blanket, pillow, socks, toothbrush, toothpaste and an eye mask. I wasn't expecting all that. The food served was very good, I never eat plan food but this was good. The world traveller cabin is their fancy name for economy. If we were eating steak and chocolate cake, I wonder what first class had.. at the end of the flight we were then served breakfast before landing. Our connecting flights outside of BA via Iberia did not even compare to the service or options. Total chaos and a charge for a cup water. Attendants seemed rough around the edges. The return flight back on BA was 7 hours but didn't even feel like it. The dinner on that flight was delicious. There is no skimping on meals, you got a full tray with a salad, entree, milk, coffee, water, roll, dessert and as much good booze as you want to consume. The in-flight entertainment was great. There were many new release movies to choose from. Before we landed they brought out more food for us, a box with a gourmet sandwich and water. As if we had not had enough food, it was great. All the flight attendants were very hospitable. I highly recommend for abroad travel and will definitely be booking with BA again! read more

Hmmmmmmm do I give you a 4 or do I give you a 2......? Is it fair to even write a review at this current time......? In answer to the second question - yes. It is telling how a business handles its customers during time of trouble In answer to the first - I'll give you a 3 for old times' sake So booked to go back to Scotland with BA ( my airline of choice (food ok, service usually great and I have found them quite comfortable to fly with - and I hate flying) BUT we have booked for slap bang in the middle of the latest round of cabin crew strikes. All in on there have been a series of spectacular FAILS punctuated by some A+ service: Over the space of 3 days around about 12 hours spent on the phone/awaiting answer to questions from BA - FAIL In general, call center staff helpful and understanding about the stressfulness of the situation - A+ Charged extortionate amounts to change tickets before the flight was ACTUALLY canceled despite website saying we could change for free and despite the fact that had we waited we would never have got on the single flight leaving Boston for that day (we were correct - our other flight was canceled) - FAIL Hubs booked on a different return flight from me WITHOUT telling us AND was charged for an upgrade to premium economy- FAIL Trying to charge me extra $$ to be able to get on the same flight as him - FAIL Transferring me to his flight with a free upgrade to be in his cabin - A+ If I actually get home and back I might reconsider and bump this review up, but BA please rectify this situation - you are losing one loyal customer.. read more

When I'm flying to Europe, I usually try to fly British Airways. The reason is that I can fly during the day to Heathrow, stay overnight at the Hilton (or now the Sofitel) right at the airport, and then finish the trip with a short flight to my destination the next day. No more red-eye flights for me. No more arriving in Amsterdam or Stockholm at 9:00 in the morning to discover that I can't check in for another five hours. I now arrive fully rested and ready to go. There are some tricks to this. First, fly on the weekend. The hotels at the airport are expensive during the week but cheap on Saturday nights. BA charges a few more dollars when you fly on Saturday but you save much more at the hotel. Fly to Europe on a weekend, fly home on a weekday. On the way home, the changing time zones allow you to fly during the day and you don't need a hotel. As for food, it just sucks in coach if they give you anything. Buy a sandwich at the airport and wait to eat a good dinner at the Heathrow hotel. Sometimes breakfast is included at the hotel. If it's included, get it. If not, eat somewhere else because it will be expensive. In June I flew to Amsterdam with a colleague. I left Saturday morning & stayed at the Hilton on Saturday night. She left Saturday night, changed planes at Heathrow after her "red eye" flight, and we flew the last leg together. Number one issue: walking past all of the more comfortable seats before seeing my actual seat, which unfortunately was squished up next to an overweight individual for a 7.5 hour overnight flight not next to my DTP because for some reason I can't choose which seat I'm in and couldn't even check-in early online even though they said I could?? Maybe that's more than one issue. OVERVIEW: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Some good points include: meals come with a complimentary alcoholic beverage, seats are larger than the supposed "sleeper style" buses in England, the movie selection is decent, BA provides eye masks, blankets, pillows, and headphones for free, the seats have an extendable head rest thing for sleep support, and I was provided two portions of food on this trip. So, for the amount of money I paid I was slightly satisfied. And, in a nutshell, I would fly BA again. read more

Worst Airline Ever. I've had nothing but problems since booking. We had 2 business class tickets for ourselves & 2 premium economy tickets for our kids, they over sold premium economy, so our kids flew regular economy which is fine but I purposely booked them in premium so they would only be a few rows from us. The debit card compensation is a joke for the inconvenience. Over the phone customer service was horrible throughout the entire booking to check in process. Never ever again. read more

Do not book BA238. It is advertised as a day flight from Boston to London taking off at 7:30am and arriving in London in the evening. I purchased a ticket in early August for an October flight. It turns out that BA had cancelled that flight every day since mid April. They have cancelled it ever since. After to pay the premium for a day flight, they cancel it a few weeks later and bump you over to a redeye at the same price. When I originally booked the flight, I could have found a redeye for at least $200 per ticket less. It is an intentional bait-and-switch scam. I just looked. They continue to list it and sell tickets. read more

This review is about the British Airways frequent flyer program and a recent "promotion" offer when one applied, and was approved for, a BA Visa card. The promotion was that you would get 50,000 BA miles upon receiving your card, and 50,000 miles when you spent $2500 on the card in the first three months. It stated that according to redemption rules on British Airways you could redeem your 100,000 miles for two round trip tickets from the United States to Europe. I received my BA card, and my 100,000 miles, and then went to book a reward flight. I was interested in BOS to Bangkok. And, lo and behold, in addtiion to the miles you must redeem, and state and local and aiport taxes, BA charges a FUEL SURCHARGE of $799 per ticket and an "Insurance and security" surcharge of around $30.!! And for each roundtrip ticket US to Paris, they forgot to mention that BA charges $420 per person in fuel, insurance and security surcharge in addition to the $131 in non BA taxes and security charges on top of the 50K miles!! What's the point? Not to mention the $90 annual fee you have to pay for the BA card! Boo. Hiss. Not cool. This fuel charge should have been explicitly mentioned in the promotion. The Spirit Airlines website was super easy to navigate. I got on, created my account, booked my flights, and was all set within a matter of minutes. The confirmation provided all the details for my flight and my gmail was able to pull the details and add it to my calendar. 24 hours before my flight, the check-in reminder came and the checking process was super easy. I didn't have any changes or additions so I was checked in within a minute. Arriving at the gate was vibrant as the Spirit Airlines yellow set the tone for the area. The lines were long but the staff was smiling and friendly. As it came time to board, I was a part of Group 5 which is the bulk of flyers. Though the line was about 3 gates long, the Spirit Airlines staff had an efficient process for getting us out the gate area and onto the aircraft. Of course you can't do anything about the people who hold up the line, but the Spirit Airlines gate agents even had a process for them to step to the side. Woo Hoo! Once on board, the plane is standard size, and the seats aren't as tight as I have heard. I'm 6' 3" and though I didn't have ample space, I didn't feel like I was being crushed either. The seats don't have as much cushion as some of the other airlines, however, my butt didn't start to hurt until I was 2.5hrs into my 3hr flight, so I was good. The Spirit Airlines Flight Attendants are unique in style esthetic, however, their service was industry standard and they always appeared with a smile. As you pay for everything on the flight, the process of purchasing is easy and swift. The pilot was professional and ensured we had a smooth flight into the Boston area. He kept us abreast of weather changes, altitude changes, and gave us ample time to prepare for landing. I deplaned without incident and went on about my day. My return flight to Atlanta was the same experience quality. Coming back, I did add a carry-on ($70) and it was easy to add it during my check in process. Once at Logan, the kiosk was unable to scan my boarding pass, however the ticketing attendant put in my confirmation number and I was good to go. I tagged my bag, headed to the counter, dropped it off, and was on my way to security within 3 minutes. Thank you Spirit Airlines for the safe trip and streamlined standard operating procedures. You and the staff are appreciated.

Sat at the airport till 9, then found out the flight got cancelled at 8:45. They said oh we can get you on a flight for Monday afternoon..... cruise leaves Sunday. JetBlue no flights available. Had to go with delta only thing available was 1st class... $2908 later, we are now waiting at the airport until 4:40 pm to leave for Miami. We are going on a cruise and need to be there it's our honeymoon! Spirit offered nothing to help or assist other than we can get you there two days later.... I understand there is issue and delay and cancellation.... There's no weather no issues or problems with any other flights. Their absolute best answer was $30 for a future flight, respectfully kill yourself, that's the most pathetic service, absolutely. Long story short if you plan to do anything or fly anywhere never EVER take a flight from this company.... Terrible, horrible, worse experience ever, btw this was my first experience with spirit and the absolute last. Useless worse terrible experience they should immediately stop being a company

The seats also looked new, and there was a nice flat screen to watch movies. But the legroom felt really tight for first class, and the seat recline felt very limited. When my laptop was stowed under the seat, there was just enough space for my feet on the floor. The meal was very good (always go with the chicken - in this case chicken thighs), and the flight attendants were very attentive. The plane departed and arrived on time. Overall, a good flight except for the scant seating.

Well, you can try. It took me at least five calls and several emails over a matter of months (because you are waiting for them to get back to you as they've directed) to get part of a refund. I had to call again to get the rest. They flat out told my mom they wouldn't refund her and were closing the case when she contacted customer service (at no point was she able to provide proof of her payments, they just looked at her travel record and decided). I've encouraged her to keep trying and prepare to be in it for the long hall since they tried to tell me no at first too. Then they send you a survey link to provide feedback on your experience and it's "expired" every time. Class.

Cabin crew are decent but the bathroom going to and from dublin on the planes was absolutely disgusting. I flew in a seat next to it. They did not even clean it. It smelled awful. There was trash under the seats. Aer lingus also does not dispatch staff to the terminal until its time to board. So you cant even ask them a question. Not like they speak any English. Seriously the app said the plane was boarding at Leeds Bradford. But the terminal display said delayed. Couldn't even ask a human what one was correct. Upon returning they lost my luggage. I went to complain and was told in broken English to fill out a report via qr code. Federal law states im entitled to fill it out in person. 7 days ive been without my luggage. They were supposed to drop it off last night but never did. Hours of speaking to overseas Indian call center employees who are rude, reading off a script they told me it will be another day or two.

Ground staff in Boston were pretty polite and helpful in my limited interaction with them. Onboard, service was efficient but not exactly warm. There were a couple of flight attendants that were great but the rest were just going through the motions. The economy offering of kung pao chicken wasn't exciting but it was edible. The IFE was decent and the legroom was okay. However, the recline from the front was quite substantial, which doesn't give you much room to get out or to maneuver. The real issue I had was the amount of delays. Of the four flights I took with Lufthansa, three of them were delayed. Not great. I had to make a connection at Frankfurt, and the Lufthansa app gives you directions to navigate from where you arrive to the gate for the next flight. However, I was given wrong information and ended up having to ask around and having more complications than while the app led me to. I wouldn't go out-of-my-way to fly this airline again but it's decent enough.

The burger itself didn't feature any lettuce or tomatoes, only a warm toasted bun, a ton of cheese, along with a ketchup and mustard packet... Wifi was $8 for the entire flight and worked well. The IFE was able to connect with Bluetooth headsets. Headsets seemed to be complimentary if one were to ask. Towards the end of the flight, there was quite a hard sell on a variety of United credit cards. The push made the United flight feel like an Air Asia flight... Our flight arrived ~45 minutes ahead of schedule.

This is a unique service offered only on the A321T and offered only from Boston to LAX, JFK to LAX, and JFK to SFO and JFK to SNA. The A321T is uniquely configured with Flagship First, Flagship Business, and economy. The amenities and seating in the premium cabins is much more akin to a widebody aircraft with lie-flat seating offered in first and business and seatback screens throughout the aircraft. Sadly, these aircraft will soon be retired as AA moves toward eliminating Flagship First systemwide. The seating in first is 1-1 which offers a lot of privacy. The seatback screen is large and high definition with a wide selection of movies and other entertainment options. Noise cancelling B&O headsets are also distributed. The meal service in first is enhanced versus what is offered in business including higher end touches on the meal tray like individual salt and pepper shakers and a metal napkin holder. There is also actual champagne in first versus prosecco in business. There is also a soup course in first which is not offered in business. The flight attendant was great and offered an attentive and premium service. Baked on board cookies are also offered prior to arrival. Overall, this was a great transcon flight on AA. Sadly, it's the exception and not the rule as service and amenities on other AA flights leaves a lot to be desired.

Don't fall into this trap. American Airlines is unequivocally the absolute worst airline available (yes even worse than Frontier - at least then you get what you pay for). This week I made the terribly misguided decision to book an American flight from PVD to DCA. The flight was at 7pm and was quickly delayed until midnight (I had anticipated this would happen given I was flying AA so not a surprise). What I didn't account for was a full flight cancellation despite the weather situation in DC clearing up at 8 pm (well before our flight was supposed to depart). I was still unfazed, however, since I had recalled similar experiences prior. After painful dealings with customer service I was finally able to rebook on the 6 am flight the next morning (this is at 10 pm the night before mind you). Though this was all a major inconvenience to me (my entire schedule for the following day was thrown out the window along with those of the people I was supposed to be meeting), I didn't expect much more from AA. The real shock came at around midnight (4 hours before I was going to wake up for my 6 am flight) when my morning flight was cancelled. I have to admit, this caught me by surprise - I figured that even for an abhorrent airline like American they would have some level of decency in servicing their customers. Alas, I was wrong. Cancelling a NEXT DAY flight 4 hours before boarding is well within the bounds of normal business operations for AA because coordinating an aircraft from an airport that hasn't had problematic weather for 12 hours prior to the new scheduled departure is just too much to ask for from a global carrier. I have now lost an entire day of my planned vacation along with the added inconvenience and expense associated with trying to find a place to work and eat tomorrow all while wondering if my flight will actually take off within 24 hours after it was scheduled to. Let this be a lesson for all of you and my future self - never ever, under any circumstances, fly American Airlines. They are truly terrible (which, by the way, is why they are being run out of business by United and Delta - two carriers who understand the value of actually being reliable and treating customers with care)

My husband and I could hear nothing of this important information, because it was quite loud as the door was still open. Once the door closed, I called from the back that we hadn't been able to hear anything he said. His response was surprisingly dismissive. My recommendation is that pilots wait until the door closes before their important review of safety and emergency information. Now, the pilot on our return flight (Friday, May 15, 7 a.m.) did just that. He was the best! ******* I still give Cape Air four stars, because it provides a helpful service, even if the little planes are extraordinarily loud and rickety and terrifying.

We booked a two bedroom, which was very convenient and allowed this tired traveling family some solid rest. The property is showing some signs of aging for sure and the remote for the TV in the second bedroom was missing but it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The nice lady shared that there is free breakfast available but we missed it due to all the good sleep we were getting.
