We got our food shortly. Our service was very decent. I would definitely come back. I didn't love my espresso drink but it was good enough to drink. We stopped here on our way down I-5 from Seattle. What a little gem. Brix is located in the old city center of Roseburg. What a cute town right out of a hallmark Christmas movie. The interior is just as cute. Rustic brick walls, hardwood floors, still decorated for Christmas. Our waitress was Rebbeca she was friendly, efficient and attentive. Our food came out very quick which helps when you are on a long road trip. I had the caprese grilled cheese with Sun-dried tomatoes and balsamic jam. It was yummy hitting all the notes of tart, sweet, salty and gooey. It came with a side of perfectly crispy waffle fries, more than I could eat. My husband had the orange chicken sesame bowl. The veggies were fresh and still crisp,the chicken was tender with a tangy sweet orange sauce, he ate every bit. A latte to go from the Coffee bar and we were on our way in less than an hour. I will return to Brix Grill. I have to say the service was great! Food was good, the prices... well, a bit steep for what you get but I'm still a fan. The place was clean and organized and seemed to run well. I want to try something else off the menu to see if it's better value for money but I will return. What an awesome little spot! I had the avocado Gorgonzola burger and it was delicious! The homemade ranch was unbelievable and went with the burger and fries so good. I'm really bummed out that the Tried and True eggs Benedict has been tampered with. Instead of an appropriately sized thin sliced round of Canadian bacon they've replaced it with a wedged thick hunk of ham. The English muffin is either smaller or simply dwarfed by the giant piece of meat that dominates what should be an evenly proportioned menu item. At least the hollandaise sauce is still delicious. Worse yet when I asked about this a couple of months ago I was told this is how they've ALWAYS made them! Right to my face a server that has brought me this exact meal more than two dozen times over the the last several years; denied that they'd changed anything! As usual if you forget to ask for crisp hash browns they will be served with little to no "brown". I suspect they've had locals that have complained that the way it used to be made was "not enough food" because let's be honest the majority of Douglas County Oregon locals are complete rubes that favor a Denny's Grand Slam meal deal over a poached egg and a slice of dark rye to start the day. Service has also suffered lately, unorganized and stressed sums it up. Aside from my complaint about the changes to my favorite item on their breakfast menu it's still one of the better restaurants in town, I look forward to upgrading my review but for now I'm afraid Brix has gone from outstanding to simply average. Went for breakfast with a group. A friend and I ordered meals and split them. The special was great, but the Italian scramble was not. We only found two small pieces of sausage, and a LOT of chunks of hard, raw onion. Other food was good, some served later than others, but a nice time and I would definitely go back, I liked the atmosphere a lot. read more

Brix is one of the best places for any meal. The breakfast and lunches are very fresh and creative. My family eats here at least once a week for breakfast or lunch. The atmosphere is local, chic, but very friendly and welcoming to kids. Brix is my first choice for a date night dinner. I would recommend the mediterranean wrap for breakfast and the tuscan chicken flatbread for lunch. If you find yourself there on a Friday night for dinner...they make the best blueberry lemon drop martinis and their blue cheese stuffed mushroom appetizer will not disappoint. read more

Great breakfast and latte. Clean quiet and atmosphere tastefully done. The latte was not loaded with any sweetener like most places. A simple mocha no heavy sweetener is excellent. Recommended by the front desk of our hotel, we found Brix to be an unpretentious restaurant with friendly and attentive staff that serves seriously good appetizers and entrees. Clean and tidy, well lit and quiet enough for conversation even when busy. The wait staff were charming, patient and efficient. The meal was perfectly prepared by the kitchen (I do mean perfectly. This place is great! I walked in with no reservation, in the middle of diner service on a Saturday night and asked for a table for one. Apart from the usual hustle and bustle, they were also accommodating a private function. After only a few moments I was seated at a table. I was immediately, and continually bombarded with amazing service. I ordered the recommended appetizer, a warm flatbread with feta, candied bacon, and greens. Then, perfectly prepared prime rib with Abacela Temperanillo. This food pairing was sublime! The rich fatty cut of prime rib with the equally rich tannins of the wine were so complementary, one could not help but melt a little further back into ones seat.
