This place is terrible. The staff is very unfriendly and my family felt very unwelcome here. Also, their "gluten-free" items are NOT gluten free. My daughter has celiac and got very sick from eating one of their "gluten-free" items. Either they are not gluten-free or the staff did it on purpose because they didn't want us there (it was close to closing time). Never again. read more

Perfectly cooked potatoes and excellent flavor combinations without being overdone. Lots of great choices of potatoes and salads. We had the enchilada and curry thai potatoes and the Trip to Italy salad, which had a perfect balance of fresh fruit, asiago cheese and vinaigrette dressing. Fast and friendly service! I used to go to a potato bar over 20 years ago and it was by far one of my favorite lunch spots. When I saw there was one in Ogden, I had to try it. One word - blah! Ingredients are all mediocre. I LOVE the concept of this place, and went down shortly after they opened (despite seriously terrible parking) to get a potato. But when we walked in, the entire place reeked of a horrifically-smelling cleaning product, rather that the inviting smell of warm potatoes and the delicious condiments that should have accompanied them. It was completely off-putting, and we left without trying anything, especially after seeing the menu of pre-made potatoes. I only post this review to offer suggestions, because I would eat regularly at a potato bar if done right. Ditch the smelly cleaning products, let your establishment smell like the food you serve, and do a "build your own" potato bar. Then I will be your biggest customer! read more

Who can go wrong with a baked potato!?! I don't think I have ever turned one down. I went here with my sister and her daughter (2 y/o) who live near the area and was actually disappointed. The options are there, but sadly, the flavor is not. They have a pretty decent sized menu, serving sizes are decent but not amazing, and pricing is again decent but could be $1 or $2 cheaper. My sister and her daughter shared a potato (I can't remember if they had kids options, which I am sure they did but probably overpriced) and it filled them up. They tend not to eat much though. I was wanting a bit more after I finished mine. The potato skin was also harder than you would expect (pre-cooked then warmed up in oven? I hope not.) She got bacon and cheddar. I got enchilada. Bacon and cheddar is hard to mess up so she was pleased; but for something called enchilada you would expect some spice, flavor, SOMETHING but it lacked all of it. I think they should consider adding seasoning to their recipes and all would be great. Overall, the idea of a potato shop is AMAZING, service was quick, and they have friendly staff that know their menu. read more

I would not recommend this place. I gave it two stars considering that it's a fast food restaurant so I shouldn't expect much, but the quality of the food was disappointing. I ordered the bacon cheddar baked potato and Caesar salad. The baked potato was smothered in melted cheddar cheese and bacon, but when I started digging in, there was barely any potato at all. It seemed like they dug out the potato and just piled on the cheese and bacon. I only had a couple bites before I felt sick. The salad was decent until I discovered a hair in between the lettuce. Pretty disgusting. Maybe others have had better experiences but I will definitely not be returning. read more

Not a huge baked potato fan but I really like this place. They have a really good variety, the place is clean, and the staff are friendly. Really cool business model, don't know why there aren't any franchises out there yet. Probably not as popular during Utah's hot summer months. My only complaint is they don't have their calories counts listed, but they do offer some low calorie options. read more

Catering is great! I know the reviews have been mixed on this place as a walk-in eating establishment and I have never been in the restaurant to eat so I can't comment on that. However, if you are looking for someone to cater a casual event like a casual party or a business lunch or dinner (we did dinner), then I would highly recommend them. We catered for 60+ teachers and staff and the food was a big hit especially with the cold weather outside. They deliver, set up with warmers to keep the food nice and warm, and provide plates, cutlery, and serving utensils. We were very pleased. read more

Very disappointed with my first trip into local baked potato shop Brixtons! I went for a lunch date with my hubby, we got there at 11:30 to try and avoid the lunch rush. At first glance it didn't appear to be too busy with only 3 people in front of us. What I didn't know was that one of these people was a jack ass who ordered 9 entrees without calling ahead first.. That is not the fault of the restaurant but what also happened was one of the workers was late leaving the store manned with but one employee. Uhhhh!!!! Any way we finally got to order our much anticipated baked potatoes and all the yelps I read before going raved about the pulled pork so that is what we ordered. The potatoes were of large size and perfectly cooked! The very apologetic young lady serving us piled on the pork and hot bbq sauce, then a heaping scoop of cole slaw the food looked delish and then she offered to buy our drinks as we had to wait so long for our food, all this as the late employee did the walk of shame past us into the kitchen to help fallowed by what looked the owner/boss. I am giving the customer service a five star for sure as she did the best she could with the situation at hand. My issue was the toppings for the potato and the price. You know how sometimes meat that has been cooked then chilled then reheated starts to taste really meaty almost gamey........that is what this pork tasted like eeww nasty!!! The sauce was very very hot like temp hot like burn the shit out of my mouth hot and sweet very sweet like syrup no bueno!! I think it could have used some cheese or something else to cut through that sweet sauce. The cost for two potatoes and free drinks $18.00, good deal??? I think NOT. I've worked in downtown Ogden for 8 years now. I remember when Brixton's came on scene. The baked potato bar seemed like a really great idea to me, so I tried it within the first few weeks of operation. I was extremely disappointed. I remember thinking, "This place isn't special at all!" I could make everything that Brixton's serves in my own kitchen at home, and for A LOT LESS money. I often tell myself that I will never give a place my business again if I don't like it, but today I tried Brixton's again... and... I still don't like it. It's not that the food it bad, but I wouldn't call it good either. It's more of a "This food shouldn't be that expensive" kind of a thing. $$ CHA-CHING $$ Today, I didn't get baked potatoes. I ordered the 16oz Baked Potato Chowder (that had more onions in it than potato), and the very small Caesar Salad (because I enjoy a good salad once in a while). I was charged almost $13 just for those two items. Yes, I know. I was had by a great con! But with all of these great reviews for Brixton's, I thought I might have missed something. NOPE! Brixton's is my "go to" place for lunch. The food is always fresh and well prepared. I primarily eat salads and their salads are great, but I also like the variety which includes sandwiches, soups, smoothies, and their specialty potatoes.
