I wanted swarovski crystals and the nails tech used cheap glue and rushed me in the process of doing my nails so the crystals fell off the same day. I went back to get them replaced and he replaced them with regular rhinestones which isnt a problem but I still paid for swarovski crystals. Very c r a p p y job unfortunately. He didn't place nails at cuticle he put it above so now it looks like I've had these on for a month. They won't be getting another penny out of me unless i am desperate. I was charged $165 for gel x nails and a half job pedicure. I paid for deluxe pedicure and did not receive that. Paint job on toes looked fine but my nails look terrible.

I live across town so I told them it would need to be Monday morning. I arrived to the salon this morning and had a different nail tech. They removed the whole set and applied a new set for me. The nail tech even explained that my nails are curved and I needed a specific type of nail. Needless to say, she did an AMAZING job and they feel sturdy. I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure, and less than 24 hours later the gel on several of my toenails was already chipping and lifting. I called, and to their credit, they apologized and asked me to come back in for a correction. During the correction, I showed the technician which toes needed fixing. She only repaired the visibly chipped ones and left four other toes where the gel was already lifting. I also mentioned that the manicure and pedicure color was supposed to be a clear pink, but my toenails ended up a nude shade instead. That part was partially on me for not noticing until I got home. The staff was extremely friendly and kind, which I appreciated. However, having to return a second time and still not have the issue fully corrected on a $90 pedicure didn't sit right with me. I'm sure if I had pushed harder or demanded a full redo, it probably would have happened -- but I don't think customers should have to feel like a "Karen" just to have things made right. The manicure itself turned out great, but based on my experience, I'd personally avoid getting a pedicure here.

Gals, you know it's winter, and not many flip-flops or sandals showing our toes time. I happened to find Vibe Nails down the street and decided to try them out. They had a lot of different nail services on their menu, and I opted in for an Ultra Deluxe Keratin Pedicure with Catelyn. Wow! it was a rejuvenating spa experience that included everything a regular pedicure offers and also a citrus orange scrub exfoliation, soothing lavender masque application, and a very nice, relaxing foot and leg massage. I loved the part where hot stones were placed between my toes and wrapped up. Furthermore, keratin foot socks were placed on my footsies and the service concluded with polished toes. I really enjoyed my experience at Vibe Nail Bar with Catelyn, and I will be sure to visit again for another serene spa experience. The nail techs were very sweet and polite, which I appreciated. However, they seemed very new and inexperienced. The service felt unsure from the start, and I noticed a lot of hesitation and overworking during my manicure and pedicure. By the time I left, my cuticles had been over-plucked to the point that my hands felt raw and sensitive. It was uncomfortable immediately after the appointment and only got worse once I got home. My big toes were also trimmed so aggressively on the sides that they now feel like they're becoming ingrown, which is both painful and concerning. I understand everyone has to start somewhere, but I don't think clients should be practice runs--especially when it results in discomfort. I hope the salon invests more in training and supervision, because the staff is kind, but the technique needs serious improvement.
