First time customer, I went in for gel x with nail tech Nancy At first I showed a picture of the nails I wanted and she laughed saying she just did those - I asked what the reason was for laughing if she didn't like the design or was tired of doing it and she did not say anything. I thought that was rude and weird but I brushed it off and we continued the appointment with little communication which is fine with me. I decided to switch to a plain French and call it a day so I wouldn't be stuck there for a long time with the artwork. I loved my nails and the finished product and will be going back! I went in at close to the end of the day 5:30p when they close at 7 with only one other person there If you want to get good nails at a good price in and out, I would check it out! This place is absolutely great! We arrived at 5:45 PM, and even though they close at 7:00 PM, they welcomed us with open arms. They didn't rush us at all and provided truly top-quality service from start to finish. The entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and the shop itself was clean, nice, and had a wonderful vibe. Plus, there is plenty of parking, which is always a bonus. It was my husband's very first time getting a pedicure, and he was so relaxed that he actually fell asleep in the chair! As for me, the lady who did my nails was super nice and we had great conversation. You can tell she know what she was doing and is very skilled. I was also very happy on how she cared and payed close attention to detail. When putting on the gems, she made sure all were centered and applied correctly. Even going back to seal any gaps the first set of glue did not fill before putting on the top coat. I've been going to the same nail lady for 15 years. Unfortunately, it was time to find a new place. This was recommended by a friend of mine along with the great reviews. I called right before a bit before 2pm and was able to make an appt for 230 for the 3 of us. Right when we walked in it was pleasant. It's smelled like lemon grass and the esthetic was beautiful and clean. We were greeted and told to pick our colors. About 2 minutes later we were sat down. My 5 year old was just getting her toes and hands polished. The girl was super sweet and welcoming to her. I got the massage that came with the hot stones and 7 minutes of foot massage with a French gel pedi. My other daughter got a regular pedi with gel polish. My lady I believe her name Tina was super sweet always asking if everything was okay. Once my little one was done they brought her over to the chair next to me and gave her snacks. One thing I noticed was that they open all the stuff in front of me and they use new pumice stones and files for everyone then they dispose them. My daughter which is very picky like myself was VERY pleased too. She likes the place, smell, and the staff. She loved the way the lady shaped her nails for her. Overall we loved the whole experience from the call to making the appointment to walking out. They have a lot of staff on stand by to help everyone. We definitely found our new shop! Issue #1 - could not find my appointment. Logged wrong cell. Issue #2 - had a pix of what I wanted until the the tech caught her mistake when it was too late. "Ummmm, sorry" was the response. The volume was subtle They're 1000 colors to pick from, which is a great variety to have I go . I have been getting the same color for years . My review is for Nana , I got my gelx done here almost 3 weeks ago, I was not happy with my results, at the 2 week mark of getting my nails done it had looked like I had them for a month already. I noticed that on my left hand the nails were longer and skinner and on my right it was shorter and wider, not sure how she could have messed that up when gelx already has the shape. I had her fix 2 nails because her application of the fake nail was hella crooked and since I drove an hr away I wanted everything to be correct. I also don't know what her issue was because as soon as I sat down she grabbed my hands very aggressively, had i lived in the area i would have just up and left. I have never experienced that before but since my MIL lives in the area I decided to try it out for her *NOT RECOMMENDED OFC* her vibe was way off i don't know if she was having a bad day or what but she was aggressive and rude. Anyways It was indeed time for a fill so I went to LV MED AND SPA, when they were removing the gel we noticed white on my nails bed .. weird because I never had that happen before. The nail tech told me she was sorry for what I experienced there and the way I was treated especially me being 7 months pregnant.. I've lived in Vegas for almost 2 years now...I've tried a few nail salons, and while this one is on the pricy side...the quality and service is the best I've had, so now I have no reason to try anywhere else. I tend to always be a walk-in as I am a busy mom of 3 and never know when I'll have time, but they are always so accommodating & well staffed. The shop itself is beautiful and clean. Decor is very glam, complete with crystal chandeliers overhead. Lots of gel color options. And the best part is -- I consistently get a great gel manicure and pedicure, no matter who I see! My last visit was a week ago. I got the prettiest red almond shaped nails done for christmas ( see attached image) and a matching pedicure. Total before tips was about $100. Unfortunately their card machine was down, first time this happened here to me, so they had to charge my mom and I via Zelle, but all worked out okay. read more
