My mom and I have been loyal clients of Elaine's Nails for 2014, over 10 years, and have always trusted this salon with my nails (mostly amber). Over the years, I've stuck with them through price increases because the quality of service, especially from my nail tech, Amber, has made it worth every penny. I tried to book my next appointment, and I realized that Amber was not listed. Amber was one of the best things that ever happened to Elaine's Nails. I have been a LONG time customer of Elaine's Nails and as of late I've tried coming in to get my nails done on 4 separate occasions over the last couple of months and have been told they were either too busy or that only one service could be performed that day - I usually get both fingernails and toes done. Typically, Elaine or Amber know that I am a customer who doesn't mind waiting for a service, as I'm usually a walk in customer but I'm not sure if there has been a staff shortage or not? I haven't seen Elaine at the shop in months and I truly hope that she is doing okay. I was told Amber departed the shop as well, which is super unfortunate - she was a great tech! I've been having to go elsewhere to get my nails done, which isn't desirable but due to my availability and the shop's... it's hard to make things work. I've been coming here since I was 19 years old. 13 years and I find myself coming back over and over again. I have tried a ton of places that is closer to my home but could never find anyone as good as Elaine's Nails. It's a 30 minute drive from home but it's okay, it's worth it for me. Brian is so good with acrylic, I'll post pictures with nails and color. I go to him from September (Birthday month) to end of year (through the holidays). Hana is so good with feet and doing something simple. I go to her from Jan-Aug. Both are so good, I highly recommend both. read more

Her gel nail polish application still stands several weeks later without any chips or cracks, which I have had at previous places. This place is always spotless. The staff treats you like royalty. Its quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Bf and I get a mani pedi every few months and every time is nothing but perfection. He loves to talk but as soon his feet get rubbed he falls asleep. Inbetween clients they clean and sanitize each chair. They have water and sparking water in a fridge next to the nail polishes. They also have displayed the available kits for the deluxe pedicures. He went with lavender scrub, lotion, and a leg mask. They also had spearmint and cbd. I've been going to Amber for years now... and I'm absolutely obsessed! She just gets me. Whether I'm feeling indecisive or bringing in a inspo pic, she always knows how to elevate the look and somehow makes it even better. She's got a sixth sense for style and makes getting your nails done feel like hanging out with your bestie. Her work? Flawless. I'm notorious for stretching out the time between fills, and still--no lifting, no cracking, just perfection every time. Truth be told, I hate sharing her, but she's just that good. Their nail polish is very bad quality. It looked mushy, like old, hardened. I had to ask to remove it or else she will just lend me walk out like that. When she removed it, it left yellow nasty stains on my nail and on the skin around it. It looked like I had some kind of a disease. It wasn't coming off with acetone, she had to put something else and brush it with a hard brush. And it still wasn't coming off. It was horrible. On top of everything they weren't even apologetic and tried to charge me the full price. Just wow. Luckily, it's fall so I can just wear close toe shoes. Not coming back again. read more

Great service, and they took care of myself and my three other friends as walk-ins without issue. Very spacious interior, and high-end looking equipment and tools. Or course I loved the massage chairs connected to the pedispa stations, but that's pretty standard these days. I had a pretty standard pedicure spa - it was hygenic, everything looked clean and properly sterilized, the massage portion was heavenly, and the finished gel polish was spectacular, as expected. I've been a loyal customer at this salon for over two years, always kind, respectful, and empathetic. Unfortunately, after my most recent visit, I won't be returning. When I arrived, the owner, Elaine, was sitting at the front and didn't even greet me. I said hello and mentioned that I saw Amy had a 12:45 PM appointment available. She seemed okay at first, so I continued walking inside and explained that I hadn't booked online--I was just passing by and decided to come in. Elaine followed behind me, clearly irritated, like I had interrupted her time outside. She went to the computer and, in a rude tone, asked, "So do you want to book a service? Do you want nails and feet?" I assumed she was checking the availability, but then she told me Amy was only available for one service. Confused, I asked why she asked about both services if only one was possible. Her reply was, "I wanted to know if you want to get both services done or just one"--still in the same rude tone. At that point, I asked her if there was an issue or if I had done something wrong because her tone felt unnecessarily harsh. She brushed it off by saying, "You're just sensitive. So do you want your feet or nails done?" What bothered me most was not just the attitude, but the complete lack of basic courtesy. A simple greeting or asking how someone's day is going can go a long way--especially from someone I've known for years and had personal conversations with. For an owner to treat a loyal customer this way is deeply disappointing. This experience was upsetting, and I will not be returning. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect--especially in a service-based business. read more

I know they spaced the pedi chairs to reopen with COVID but it creates such a relaxing experience to not be so close to your neighbor. The service has been elevated as well. Amber was my technician and I'm looking forward to booking with her again. I hesitantly asked for something to be fixed and she reassured me I can always ask for anything I may need. One thing that is still true is the music. Most places play top hits-which for me gets old real fast.
