I love it so much,I dealt with insane Sunday traffic to get here.I had an iced matcha green tea latte with a teaspoon of honey added,& it was seriously the best iced matcha latte I've ever had. It had a very smooth taste; not bitter at all,& didn't have any overly sweet additives so it was all natural & healthy. My friend had a homemade strawberry lemonade which she also loved. But equally important,& to enhance the good experience,were the 2 adorable women who took care of me...Taylor & Lex,were friendly,colorful & professional, & though it was crowed, they were super fast. A very basic coffee and ice cream shop. this lady in the picture was very mean and rude and standoffish. You can tell she hates her job. I asked her what is the difference between the two types of cones, and very angrily she said just pick one. Then she forgot my sprinkles and questioned if I even ordered them. she made the experience terrible, and I will never return. I hope she gets fired. Vibes looked inviting. Nice 90's feel. I wish I checked out the reviews before bringing the fam here though..Employee with the blonde bob was completely checked out today. She was clearly upset about something else in her life unless this was like her last day. She gave her co- worker attitude when asked for help and she really did not give a ***** about what we were ordering. Snarky short responses, and she got the order wrong. Sorry sis, we all got issues- leave it at the door or take the day off. I've had better service at Mcdonalds. I hope she is going to be okay. More importantly, I learned they are not allowed to swirl the soft serve matcha with any other flavors, nor will they serve it alongside another soft serve. Do not ask for a sample or what options for toppings because it's beyond the paygrade. Times is hard ya'll, SMH. This is a fun spot to stop in when visiting Malibu, especially if you have a fondness for Baywatch or the 80s. My visit was on a weekday afternoon, and ET was on the tv. The decor incorporates the colors and vibe of the "decade of excess". Stopped for a quick ice cream treat. The coffees looked great, but it was too late in the day for that caffeine hit for me. The young servers were friendly enough, and when I asked the story behind the Baywatch cast on the walls, was told that the owner had a tie. I visited this coffee shop on a Sunday morning before a hike in Malibu and my experience here was pretty good. I ordered the French Toast Latte with oat milk and it was yummy! The french toast flavor was solid and so was the espresso. The service was good and the barista answered all my questions nicely. I also liked the interior, it was cute with all the décor such as the anime clips playing on the small TV. For parking, there's a big and free parking lot shared with other businesses. You may recognize the Broad Street name if you are a foodie in LA. Yep, they are the same company who brought you the Oysters and now they have a coffee shop in Malibu a few doors down. They not only have coffee, but pastries as every good coffee shop should but also ice cream! Soft serve is one of the things that makes Broad Street Coffee Co in Malibu special! That and the Malibu Baywatch Icon Posters - Pamela Anderson is an icon! Nice person working who quickly handled our drink orders as the shop started to get full. The cold brew was solid and we liked the tea, as well. They have some seats inside and a few seats outside for chilling & hanging. Aside from the Baywatch posters, the inside of Broad Street had other old school vibes I was loving the pop culture Austin Powers, Jim carrey, Pretty Woman, Pokemon VHS tapes - there's cool stuff inside the shop! The dairy-free soft serve is very oaty and icy, so I'd probably recommend going with the normal soft serve even if the flavors don't speak to you as much. The coffee and affogato both look great so I wish we'd made it here earlier in the day! Very cute interior in a fun area. read more

But my coffee order was completely wrong-- I should have known something was off by the price but I assumed it was because I ordered with alternative milk. The best ice cream and affogato in town. We come here a lot with the kids but somehow I never wrote a review on this place. Their soft serve ice cream is delicious and the affogato one of the best you will ever have. I got a cold brew this time too and wasn't a fan of it. Absolute worst service I have gotten!!! The three blonde girls working were all so rude and dismissive and looked like they all hated their job and everything they were doing. Even side eyed my children, super off putting and gross. Made me wait for my ice cream for a super long time and when I brought it up they said "someone else must have stolen it", they then proceeded to "make me another" and instead pull my ice cream they actually forgot from the back. Stopped by Broad Street Coffee Co. after dinner in the area because we were looking for dessert. It's a super cute shop, lots of bright decor and an overall 90s vibe. I didn't find them to have a big variety of ice cream, but once I saw softserve I was totally on board. Cone was a little on the small side in my opinion. It was good. I think this is more of a coffee shop than an ice cream shop so wouldn't be my first choice of spot to go to for dessert. I appreciated all of the little details here with the decor and would definitely be a good spot to grab a cup of coffee with a friend. One of my biggest pet peeves is businesses that close up shop before they are actually closed. Unfortunately this was the case during my visit. If the chairs are put away before you are closed, it definitely doesn't give off an inviting vibe. I would give them another shot to try the coffee, but wouldn't come back solely for the ice cream. read more

Their service was awesome, they greeted us so generously I loved the picnic tables in the back. So cozy and casual. Loved all the decors and art pieces on the walls. After a lovely lunch at Broad Street Oyster Company, I came here to get an affogato. There's different soft serve flavors to choose from but I stuck with classic vanilla and was a very happy camper. The espresso is bold and PERFECT with the vanilla. The temperature was the perfect combo of hot and cold. I asked if they had pup cups and they offered really high end dog treats! I also ordered a small vanilla soft serve and split it in half for my doggies. (I mentioned two dogs and didn't ask for it to be split- it was such a nice touch that they did this!) Located in the same center as the Broad St. Oyster company. There's a lot of traffic in this plaza, so parking can be an issue during peak times. Also, a lot of people park here and walk over to the Lagoon. This shop is on the smaller side. I ordered the affogato with vanilla. I was surprised that it came with soft serve ice cream instead of a scoop. Which I thought was odd because they also sell ice cream here. The coffee and ice cream combo was pretty good. I would get this again the next time I'm here, but at $8, it's pretty steep. read more
