Absolutely love this place. It's like a best kept secret. The views are amazing, the food is amazing and it's very low-key just the way I like it. Can't go wrong with the salads and the lobster roll. Just a really great place for brunch or lunch. Service was good.

The setting is perfect for a morning breakfast. It was one of the few restaurants open early enough for our internal clock. Haha. The food was great. we had the lobster omelet and steak and eggs. Both were phenomenal. The Bloody Mary and peach Bellini were both great, too. The best part of the meal was seeing the seals right next to our table! The service was great. Both of our waiters were very attentive. Will return if in Malibu again!

My wife and I dined here for our 20 year wedding anniversary. The view outside is ethereal...sound of the crashing waves, smell of the ocean, and close proximity. At this price point the food leaves more to be desired. Valet parking is a waste, as street parking is available.

I'm traveling through and stopped here for breakfast after a morning hike. I had no expectations other than a good view. The views were amazing! I loved hearing the water crash on the rocks. The service was top notch they made me feel like I was the most important person in the world and I was dirty from my hike. The breakfast tacos were excellent!

I was looking forward to coming here for a long time and I finally went yesterday. I have to say, the service is amazing. We order the steak frites and although my hopes were higher, it definitely was a little underwhelming when it arrived. Our steak came basically raw and extremely undercooked, but our server was kind enough to give us the menu and order a new dish. I felt really bad because the server was really nice so I did tip a little extra on top of the 18% service charge. The view is absolutely GORGEOUS. I would definitely say the view makes up for the food. It's such a unique restaurant and I'd definitely come back here. For parking, it was valet only. We paid $12 (which was added to our meal bill)

Insane beach vibez! Dining here makes you appreciate California living! I tried the Chinese chx salad this time; it was awesome and refreshing. Next time I'll tell them to chill on the wontons (less of); though I do appreciate the crunch they provided! Fresh lemonade is tart and just sweet enough-just the way I like it ;-)

Been here a couple of times but only for drinks - I haven't tried the food yet. The drinks are good, and so is the service. But I really come here for the view, which is so nice and peaceful.

I expected this place to be a lot more expensive considering the view and surrounding places. My chicken club was 8/10 and drip coffee was 10/10. Seemed as though they used clean ingredients too. Service was fantastic and every table faces the beach. Easy 5/5 will come again and again.

The sea bass was stunning. Best one I ever eaten. The clams pasta dish was just ok. But this restaurant prob has the best view ever in California.

It's made with garlic and a slew of other ingredients. We ordered a few appetizers because we were only lightly hungry. The fried calamari was delicious, it's a typical calamari dish but it was still good. We also got the dolmas with ground beef. Woah, I've never seen such huge dolmas before! I'm used to smaller more tightly wrapped ones. They were great though! They had kind of a buttery flavor. Others split the spanakopita and seemed to enjoy it. Fun time and fun ambiance! Good service too. Solid place for a night out.

Our server was friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable. The ocean view and beautiful atmosphere are definitely the highlights of this restaurant. It's a gorgeous place for a special dinner, especially around sunset. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is mainly because of the seating situation and the unexpected surcharge. We asked if we could sit at a table next to the glass window with a better ocean view. We completely understand that those tables may not always be available, and we weren't expecting special treatment. However, when we asked one of the hosts about an ocean-view table, the communication was not very clear, and the table we were moved to was not what we had requested. What was more disappointing was surcharge. We honestly didn't understand what the surcharge was for, and no one clearly explained it to us. It felt unnecessary, especially since we were simply trying to get the table we had asked about in the first place. If there is a surcharge, I think customers should be clearly informed about what it is for before being charged. That said, the food, drinks, server, and beautiful Malibu setting were all excellent. We really enjoyed our dinner and would come back again.

The citrusy white ponzu with pickled mustard seeds, cucumber and fresh herbs really elevated the tuna. We also loved the Little Gem Green Goddess Caesar. Perfectly dressed, not overloaded, with Parmesan and brown butter breadcrumbs that added the best crunch. The only thing I personally didn't care for was the bread, but everything else was fantastic. Service was great, valet parking is available, and there's even a cute little vintage shop with books, candles, etc. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu

It was quiet - not too many people there, so not so busy. We sat by the creek, a favorite spot as well. Then it started going badly. We ordered drinks off their custom menu - we're always up for trying new things. The drinks weren't good, and we tried each other's to be sure. $25 each - there's no gold or anything in there, just a shot or two of booze, so why so much? These were not amazing creations. We each ordered an appetizer and main courses. Of those, only her main course was good. Even the simple soup I ordered wasn't very tasty - of course, subjective but I like all kinds of food and it was just dull. And a soup that's $16 a bowl ought to be damn good. Leek and potato - how hard is that to make tasty? My main was 8-hour short rib, which the waiter said was the most-popular item; it wasn't great at all, and for $60 it ought to be at least a strong entry. We both tried second drink options and neither was good, my girl didn't even drink hers, and I offered to do it - but it was just syrupy and not good. We would have told the waiter, or if he'd asked us "how is your food" or "would you like something else?" but we never saw him again. After 30 minutes of waiting, we grabbed a bus boy and HE brought us our check and to-go boxes. It was such a bummer. Over $300 spent for 2 people and most of it was not good. Not even basic restaurant good. It's been a while since we went to the Inn, but this is the exact opposite in many ways. We consider it an "outdoor 5-star" or at least a 4-star but we had been service and food at a diner last week. SO - I tried to contact the management the next day, before leaving them a bad review. Their phone number was a recorded menu - and "Dial 4 to leave a message for chef or management" and when I pushed it, it said "number not valid". So.... I couldn't find anything but a direct email for Reservations, so I wrote to that. I got a message "sorry you had a bad time, we'd like to talk to you" and I gave them my number. Never got a call or text that I can tell. This likely is the last time we'll go there, the beauty of it doesn't make up for spending over $150/person on something that isn't even enjoyable. Trying to get a waiter or any attention for that long is crazy.

Beautiful setting, disappointing experience…read more We ordered the "Huge Paradise Platter" (Hot Combo), and I honestly felt like I was being pranked by how long it took to arrive. Unfortunately, once it finally came out, I realized the wait was probably because the ribs and chicken had been cooked for far too long. The meat was completely overcooked--more like beef jerky than something you'd expect to be served at a restaurant. It was essentially inedible. The fish and shrimp reminded me of frozen dinners from my early childhood which is not the vibe we had in mind! The ambience was okay, although I have to say it looks much better on social media. We were seated at a table with sand on it, which even in a beach setting is unacceptable. Our server seemed overwhelmed, to the point that I ended up ordering my drinks directly from the bar. I asked for a glass bottle of still water, and she had no idea what I was referring to. On a more positive note... Amelia, the host, was absolutely incredible. Her professionalism, warmth, and level of service stood out dramatically in comparison to the rest of the experience. Honestly, I hope she eventually has an opportunity to bring that level of service to an establishment that truly complements it. She is the only reason I'm giving Paradise Cove 2 stars instead of 1. The location has potential but the food and service need significant improvement.
