Our experience at Café Luxxe was completely unacceptable. The manager on duty should not be in a customer-facing leadership position. While my wife was in the restroom, he began yelling at her through the bathroom door. She repeatedly told him she was in the restroom and asked for a moment of privacy, yet he continued to berate her instead of simply leaving her alone. When I stepped in and said, "She's in the restroom, please give her some privacy," he immediately turned his attention toward me, raised his voice, and continued escalating the confrontation. Rather than de-escalating the situation--as any competent manager should--he became increasingly aggressive and even threatened to call the police. At no point did this manager attempt to resolve the situation professionally. Instead, he repeatedly yelled at us, behaved in an intimidating manner, and turned what should have been a simple interaction into an extremely hostile experience. This was, without question, the worst experience I've ever had at a Café Lux location. No customer should ever be verbally confronted, harassed, or intimidated by a manager, especially when one of them is simply trying to use the restroom. Because of this incident, I will never spend another dollar at Café Luxxe. Management should take this complaint seriously and thoroughly investigate the conduct of the manager on duty. read more

They have great coffee. Love the atmosphere and vibe of this place. Love the coffee music. They have a great choice of pastries...not much but all good choices. We ordered the turkey croissant and scone and both were great especially when they warmed it up. I would definitely recommend this place and would be back if I'm in the area again next time. Didn't realize this was a chain, but there's a location along the PCH in Malibu. There's actually some adjacent/attached parking, so you're not driving around in circles just to pick up some coffee. Staff is very friendly and nice, often making decent suggestions. Coffee drinks and cold brew is tasty and refreshing. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but probably starting to become more average in LA. Nicely decorated indoor area with plenty of seating if you'd like to take a break and catch up with friends. Ugh, I'm sorry I forgot to take photos because I was in a rush to be somewhere. This cute little coffee shop is in Malibu and if you're ever in the area, GO! The shop itself was cute and the space was very clean. It wasn't that busy when I stopped by for drinks to-go. The barista was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered an Oat Matcha Latte for my friend (she said the matcha tasted very fresh and she enjoyed it) I decided to get something called Honey Buzz which is a shaken espresso with honey and milk. I asked her if it was really sweet and she said she could make it less sweet and honestly, the way she made it was really perfect. Definitely wish there was a Caffe Luxxe near where I live but if I'm ever in the area again, I'll be sure to check out other menu items here! read more

What a treat! I never even noticed this place after driving by for so many years. Thankfully I have friends that are Malibu locals, and I'm SO glad I was asked to meet here. Ample free parking out front, while inside is a clean, crisp, airy ambiance, with outdoor patio seating. Almost felt like the kind of place you'd find a retired James Bond, who has aged out of the spy business, but still has the body to pull a divorced hottie. The patrons are like the pretty ones in WeHo, except with that dash of Malibu money, and the "extra" looking lap dogs that the girls/ladies bring in. Service is fantastic, and the food (I had of their warmed sandwiches) was small but tasty, along with a cup of some shaken iced coffee. Wanted a quick coffee stop in Malibu and stumbled upon this place. I ended up getting an Ethiopia Fresh Brewed Iced Coffee and it was fantastic. Tons of unique flavors and didn't really need to add anything to it. They told me it would take 6-7 minutes to prepare since its done fresh, I gladly waited. Definitely one of the best tasting black coffees I've had and it tasted so pure. Very reasonable pricing at $5 as well. Would be back when I am in Malibu. Parking : Easy, they have free parking right in front though it may fill up as well. I was able to snag the last spot when I arrived but people come and go pretty often. Seating Area : They have a nice outdoor area with plenty of seats to relax and drink/eat. read more

I was right in front of the shop finishing a call and walked to the door at 12:57 PM, only to find it already closed. I wasn't even aware they closed at 1:00 PM, but regardless, closing the doors before the posted time is unacceptable. There were at least 3-4 other cars and multiple people standing outside, clearly hoping they would still be let in. People drive 10-20 minutes to come here, only to find the store closed early. I'm not local, but I've visited this location a few times when I've been in the area. The local customers standing there were visibly disappointed. This is a very effective way to lose customers. The real issue is not just the hours -- it's the lack of care. Closing at 12:57 and then, when questioned, telling customers it was already 1:00 PM feels dishonest and dismissive. The employee's name was something like Manuel Arbitara, as far as I can remember. I would encourage the owners to review the camera footage and properly train their staff on customer service and professionalism. A secondary issue is the store hours themselves. Closing at 1:00 PM on weekdays may make sense if your customer base starts their day early, but weekend mornings are different -- people tend to get out later. Closing that early on weekends seems out of touch with customer behavior. And finally, the lack of alternatives in the area may be part of the problem. Competition tends to improve service. A good coffee shop nearby might encourage a more customer-focused attitude. We need a Verve Coffee in the area to show how it's done. read more

The coffee was delicious. I ordered a special coffee the cafe nico : espresso, candied orange, half and half and cinnamon. It was unique and one of the best, if not the best coffees I've had all year! My boyfriend's latte was a little lackluster so I'm guessing if you come here you should go for a special.... Chicken pesto sandwich was good, but the quiche, though warmed up was pretty cold in the middle. But the consistency was good. Just wish i wasn't... half... cold. We enjoy coming to this Caffe Luxxe location. Parking is limited but it also never seems to get extremely busy here. We have been able to find ample seating and parking when we stop by in the morning. The coffee is great. We have had lattes and hot chocolate. All have been good. I was excited to see a seasonal latte called the Dolcezza, which is a blend of sweet potato and spice (like the pumpkin spice latte). I enjoyed it! Available October through December. There is no wifi, but there is plenty of space to get some work done. I'm usually here with my kids to work on some of their homework, so we don't need outlets or internet. We value the large indoor and outdoor seating area and comfortable tables. The staff are always nice and helpful. Thank you for a consistent pleasant experience! read more

Our coffee run brought us it Caffee Luxxe & it did not disappoint. My safe choice is always a vanilla latte and it was a very good one at that (I added cinnamon on top). My bf ordered a matcha latte which he really enjoyed. The baristas were very nice and helpful. Now for the pastries they had quite a selection to choose from. I ordered a vegan walnut banana muffin it was soo good not overly sweet but just the right amount that pair well with my coffee. My bf ordered a matcha white chocolate cookie which he also enjoyed. Another CAFFE LUXXE! Love it. I'm still waiting for them to open one up in the Valley. I mean, there's one in LBC, why not The Valley?! (hashtag this!!) This location is not as busy as some of the other locations. Though it wouldn't matter because the baristas are quick and efficient, even if the friendly chitchat is NEVER sacrificed. This PCH location has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating space. Tranquil and spacious. Ham & Cheese Croissant is awesome! NICO, as always, is consistently good no matter which location you visit. No WiFi for customers is a huge bummer, especially since there is no 5G wireless reception in this stretch of Malibu, so you can't even hotspot your laptop...I skip coming here because of this issue. Even the baristas told me that many customers complain about it but ownership has refused to budge. It's also pretty hypocritical and funny that they advertise that customers should download their app when you cannot even access it since there is no cell reception or Wi-Fi... So glad I was finally able to try Caffe Luxxe. Adding this to one of my favorite coffee shops. They have a seating area inside and really nice seating area in the back. We decided to order 2 vanilla lattes with cinnamon. They were delicious. I like to rate my places from 1 to 10. 1 through 3 - will never comeback 4 through 5.8 - will come back if someone I'm with wants to try the spot 5.9 though 7.0 -will come back 7.1 through 9.9 will make an effort to come back and I would recommend the spot 10.0 is the best place! (Haven't had a 10 because there is always a better place out there. My rating for this place is 7.8 (Will you come back? We went on a coffee date here ! Was great coffee and great service and a great little spot. The espresso shots were pretty strong . The view was calming and I got a cafe americano with almond milk . My partner had matcha and espresso and iced tea. We are caffeine addicts I hope they expand their menu (like Starbucks has ) bc I think this place great! I am sad I don't live in Malibu because this is hands down the best coffee I've ever had. I went yesterday and came back today. I don't even like cold brew normally. There's no leftover taste in your mouth and it's the perfect blend of sweet but not too sweet. I get the dolce flore and I'm obsessed .
